how to get namespace prefixes from XML document, using MSXML ?

For example, In this document < ?xml version="1.0" ? > < SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:SOAP-ENC="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:ns1="http://opcfoundation.org/webservices/XMLDA/1.0/" xmlns:ns2="Service"> < SOAP-ENV:Body id="_0" > if I need to select the element "Body", I need to know the prefix "SOAP-ENV". How can I get that? getting a root element and slicing the colon (:) off seems a dirty idea to me, I am sure there should be a neat way to do that. Google does not help (may be I am not searching for the right thing).

Deserializing classes from XML generated using XSD.exe

I have classes generated (using xsd.exe) from an .xsd that I can serialize just fine, but when I try and deserialize it, I get the error: {"<XMLLanguages xmlns='http://tempuri.org/XMLLanguages.xsd'> was not expected."} I've searched for a couple of hours and found most peoples problems lie in not declaring namespaces in their xsd/xml, not defining namespaces in their classes, etc, but I can't find a solution for my problem. Linq to xml not able to add new elements

We save our xml in a "text" field in the database. So first I check if it exist any xml, if not I create a new xdocument, fill it with the necessary xml. else i just add the new element. Code looks like this: XDocument doc = null; if (item.xmlString == null || item.xmlString == "") { doc = new XDocument(new XDeclaration("1.0", "utf-8", "yes"), new XElement("DataTalk", new XAttribute(XNamespace.Xmlns + "xsi", "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"), new XAttribute(XNamespace.Xmlns + "xsd", "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"), new XElement("Posts", new XElement("TalkPost")))); } else { doc = XDocument.Parse(item.xmlString); } This is working alright to create a structure, but then the problem appears, when I want to add new TalkPost. I get an error saying incorrectly structured document. I want to add these other elements from parm-file as parameter to output file if element-names are matching. According to this blog post, the xsi:type attribute is special and can't be accessed by usal keywords/functions. How can I do it? PS: I tried with WITH XMLNAMESPACES ( 'http://www.educations.com/Search/Parameters.xsd' as p, 'http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' as xsi ) SELECT @X.value('(/p:parameters/p:parameter/@xsi:type)[1]','nvarchar(max)') but it didn't work.

Taking the XSLT and XML from this page as an example: http://www.w3schools.com/xsl/xsl_transformation.asp I have an xml file which contains (above example modified): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="cdcatalog.xsl"?> <catalog xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="http://tempuri.org/"> <cd> In my case, the output contains nothing when the XSLT/XML is processed by the browser. The moment I remove the attributes from the element, it works. Problem is, I don't really have the option of pre-processing those attributes out of the file. Can anyone explain how to force the XSLT to work with the XML as is, please? After all, those attributes seem fairly standard. Many thanks, Matt.

Hi All, We have a problem related Exchange Server 2010 Activesync.My problem is;When I connecting to activesync from outside, I am receiving the following error. ExRCA is testing Exchange ActiveSync. The Exchange ActiveSync test failed. Test Steps Attempting to resolve the host name mail.xxxxx.com in DNS. The host name resolved successfully. Additional Details IP addresses returned: xx.0.x3.4 Testing TCP port 443 on host mail.x.com to ensure it's listening and open. The port was opened successfully. Testing the SSL certificate to make sure it's valid. The SSL certificate failed one or more certificate validation checks. Test Steps Validating the certificate name. Certificate name validation failed. Tell me more about this issue and how to resolve it Additional Details Host name mail.x.com doesn't match any name found on the server certificate CN=xxxxxx. tastypie posting and full example

Is there a full tastypie django example site and setup available for download? I have been wrestling with wrapping my head around it all day. I have the following code. Basically, I have a POST form that is handled with ajax. When I click "submit" on my form and the ajax request runs, the call returns "POST http://192.168.1.110:8000/api/private/client_basic_info/ 404 (NOT FOUND)" I have the URL configured alright, I think. I can access http://192.168.1.110:8000/api/private/client_basic_info/?format=json just fine. Am I missing some settings or making some fundamental errors in my methods? I want to try updating the entry now. Would that just be appending the pk to the ajax url? For example /api/private/client_basic_info/21/? When I submit that form I get a 501 NOT IMPLEMENTED message. What exactly haven't I implemented? I am subclassing ModelResource, which should have all the ORM-related functions implemented according to the docs.

I know that you cannot use more than one extends, but I am new to django and I do not know the proper syntax for something like this. I want to be able to do this so that I can use my nested div layout for css reasons without having to type it like that each time and risking a typo.
