  Hello i'm trying to generate a proxy class from a local wsdl file with eclipse Galileo and axis 2 1.4 on windows xp . My problem is that i get an error due to an imported schema inside the wsdl . In fact i can download the file from the browser without problems. There's an option to specify a proxy to wsdl2java or someone has resolved this issue ? For the moment i've downloaded the xsd, added it to the project and changed the wsdl to include the relative file (instead of the remote one) , but i'd prefer to avoid this , because the file is a third party service wsdl. thank you in advance for any hint Stefano

  I'm messing around with SVG and I was hoping I could create SVG files in Illustrator and access elements with Javascript.   The default behavior of XML serialization (to_xml) for ActiveRecord objects will emit 'type' and 'nil' attributes that are similar to XML Schema Instance attributes, but aren't set in a XML Namespace. • Why is XHTML1.1 dated *before* XHTML1.0 ? What is the preferred XHTML today?

  I'm not clear on the status of XHTML - v1.0 and v1.1. Can someone explain which is preferred at this point, and why? The specs from w3c say that XHTML 1.1 predates* XHTML 1.0, which is exactly counter-intuitive, to me. http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/ - W3C Recommendation 31 May 2001 http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/ - W3C Recommentation, updated 1 August 2002 Also, I noted earlier today that the latest version of htmltidy emits XHTML 1.0, when I request xhtml. Hmmm....Even though the XHTML 1.1 spec is 9 years old, it's still not supported by mainstream tools. That suggests that XHTML 1.1 is either completely unnecessary or spurious. Which one should I use if I am authoring pages today? What if I am building tools - should I bother to support both? Or do I need only one? Thanks.

• XFBML fb:login_button only loading 20% of the time

  I have a fb:login-button that is working but the button only displays about 20% of the time I load the page. • Overwrite the Soap Envelope in Suds python

  Hello, I have a camera and I am trying to connect to it vis suds. I have tried to send raw xml and have found that the only thing stopping the xml suds from working is an incorrect Soap envelope namespace. The envelope namespace is: xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" and I want to rewrite it to: xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" In order to add a namespace in python I try this code: message = Element('Element_name').addPrefix(p='SOAP-ENC', u='www.w3.org/ENC') But when I add the SOAP-ENV to the namespace it doesn't write as it is hardcoded into the suds bindings. Is there a way to overwrite this in suds? Thanks for any help.

• dojo/dijit ContentPane setting content

  I am trying append some XML retrieved via a dojo.XHRGet to a dijit.layout.ContentPane. Everything works ok in Firefox (3.6) but in Chrome, I only get back 'undefined' in the particular ContentPane. My code looks something like this: var cp = dijit.byId("mapDetailsPane"); cp.destroyDescendants(); // there are some existing Widgets/content I want to clear // and replace with the new content var xhrData = { url : "getsomexml.php", handleAs: "xml", preventCache: true, failOk: true }; var deferred = new dojo.xhrGet(xhrData); deferred.addCallback(function(data) { console.log(data.firstChild); // get a DOM object in both Firebug // and Chrome Dev Tools cp.attr("content",data.firstChild); // get the XML appended to the doc in Firefox, // but "undefined" in Chrome }); Because in both browsers I get back a valid Document object I know XHRGet is working fine, but there seems to be some sort of difference in how the content is being set. Is there a better way to handle the return data from the request? Like I said before, works in FireFox 3.6. I tried it on Safari and I got the same "undefined" so it seems to be related to Webkit.

• Problem merging similar XML files with XSL

  I have two documents that I need to merge, that happen in a way that I don't seem to be able to find covered in other examples. Namely, that it needs to match not only on a node's attribute at one level, but also on the value of an attribute a node level below that, to get that node's value.   I have an excel sheet with three columns: date, person and percentage. I would like to put in a data validation that flags cells if the total for a given data/person combination do not equal 100%. Is that possible? In other words, in the custom formula of a data validation, I would like to make the following type of formula. =if(sum( cells with a (date = the date on this row, person = person on this row))=1) Is there a function which will return the cells in a range conditioned on certain values, or will sum the cells. Note that if it is not possible to do two cells, I have no issue adding a cell which combines both values for the purpose of effecting the lookup.

For example i want to save each parameter into a String array. So i'd like: contentScriptType="text/ecmascript" width="1024" zoomAndPan="magnify" contentStyleType="text/css" viewBox="0 0 1024 768" height="768" etc etc to be saved into a string array, is there anyway to do this using the split method, or can anybody suggest an easier, more efficient way to do this?

However, (I think) because there are multiple namespaces two different schema files get generated. We will be providing the XSD file externally and I'm concerned that two files will cause confusion. Without changing the namespace of the .Net classes, is there is a way I can create a single XSD schema file and not two? Thanks.

  Hi, I'm trying to write XSLT to transform a specific web page to JSON. • create text inside a rectangle using inkscape

  I've put some text inside a rectangle using inkscape so the tree is like <svg:rect><svg:text><svg:tspan>text.... The problem is, I can't see the text. I've tried fiddling with the opacity of the rect to no avail. There should be a way of doing this from the UI? The workaround is to put text on a layer above the box (the intent is that the box obscures the layers below it) and not try and get clever with nested tags. Shame it doesn't work though.
