Youtube video embed in WebView and MoviePlayer control

Problem with Delete Link?

When I click on the delete link I created, it doesn't do anything (even the flash[:notice] part) in the controller. Am I not calling the .delete? part correctly? The POST part works as I can add tips. JQuery post not working when moving web-app to a win server 2003

I have build a webapplication using ASP.NET MVC and JQuery. On my local machine this works fine,but when moving it to a Windows server 2003 the JQuery method post stops working. Which .NET class does represent the main CONTROLLER class for WebForms ?

Hey guys, lately I was studying a bit of Java, when I was taught about a way to implement a controller class, whose resposibility is to redirect the request to an Action, which perfoms a specified work. UIActionSheet cancel button strange behaviour

I have a UIBarButtonItem opening an action sheet to offer users choices about what to do. Everything works as expected unless I try to click on the "Cancel" button. The target of the button appears to have moved up from where it should be. I can only activate it by clicking somewhere in the middle of the "Cancel" and "Ok" buttons. I've tried at action sheets in other applications and they work fine, so it's not just my big thumb. Do I need to include the 'this' when using a property name in a closure?

I'm using a list of Actions to store an undo history for an object. Let's say I have a property of my object called myChildObject and it's being changed, so I want to store the undo action where I would set it back to it's current value: public class Class1 { public Class1() { } private readonly List<Action> m_undoActions = new List<Action>(); private SomeObject myChildObject { get; set; } public void ChangeState(SomeObject newChildObject) { // copies the reference SomeObject existingObject = myChildObject; m_undoActions.Add(() => myChildObject = existingObject); myChildObject = newChildObject; } } Looking at the lambda expression, existingObject is a local variable, so it's using a closure to pass a reference to that variable, but what about the property myChildObject? Do I need to use 'this' to preface it? Do I need to make a copy of the 'this' reference to a local variable first? Thanks for helping me understand this closure stuff.

Flash Buttons Don't Work: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null objec

I've read through several threads about this error, but haven't been able to apply it to figure out my situation... My flash file is an approx 5 second animation. Then, the last keyframe of each layer (frame #133) has a button in it. My flash file should stop on this last key frame, and you should be able to click on any of the 6 buttons to navigate to another html page in my website. The test movie does stop on the appropriate frame, but the buttons don't do anything (no URL is opened, and the trace statements don't show up in the output box when the buttons are clicked on the test movie). You can view the .swf file here: www.footprintsfamilyphoto.com/portfolio I'm confident that all 6 buttons do exist in the appropriate frame (frame 133), so I don't think that's what's causing the 1009 error. I also tried deleting each of the three function/addEventListener sections one at a time and testing, and I still got the 1009 error every time. If I delete ALL of the action script except for the "stop ()" line, then I do NOT get the 1009 error. Any ideas?? I'm very new to Flash, so if I haven't clarified something that I need to, let me know!

Creating a context in custom shoulda macro does not work.

2 different php request at same time per user

I have a website which has 2 pages , (home_page.php and action_page.php)Action page takes aprx. 2 minutes to completely load (server side takes 2 minutes) . But if user clicks to home page link while action page is loading , browser does not go to home page , until action page is completely loaded . First of all what is the reason of this ? (bowser ? php ? apache ?) and how can I avoid this ? Thank you

jQuery effect on iframe parent document

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows why I am getting an error. I'm using javascript from within an iframe to call a parent dom element then use jQuery UI's effect core to shake it. jQuery attach function to 'load' event of an element

Hi, I want to attach a function to a jQuery element that fires whenever the element is added to the page. I've tried the following, but it didn't work: var el = jQuery('<h1>HI HI HI</H1>'); el.one('load', function(e) { window.alert('loaded'); }); jQuery('body').append(el); What I really want to do is to guarantee that another jQuery function that is expecting some #id to be at the page don't fail, so I want to call that function whenever my element is loaded in the page. To clarify, I am passing the el element to another library (in this case it's a movie player but it could be anything else) and I want to know when the el element is being added to the page, whether its my movie player code that it is adding the element or anyting else.

Distinguish UI change to variable from code-behind change

Like the title says I am trying to architecture into my application a way to distinguish the source of a variable change, either from UI or code-behind. My problem is that I need to trigger some action after a property changed its value, but I only need to do this when the change comes from the UI because otherwise I don-t want to perform that action. I am having some trouble because, for example when a checkbox(two way binding), changes state, my binded property gets updated and then I use the checked and uncheked events to trigger that action.The problem is that when I change the property in codebehind it also triggers those events and I do not want that. Right now, i am using a flag that enables, or not, the actions at the event handlers but I do not feel that this is a good idea. Any sugestions or ideas? I am considering using only one-way binding and control everything my self, using commands.

ACTION_MY_PACKAGE_REPLACED not received

I am using ACTION_MY_PACKAGE_REPLACED to receive when my app is updated or resinstalled. My problem is that the event is never triggered (I tried Eclipse and real device). Starting with asp.net MVC

Hello, Actually im doing a home page that only have an action called Index() that returns the view Index.ascx. This index page will be composed by lastest news and lastest registered users, i think that create two partial views is the best idea (this way i could use it in other views). for other hand i have a data access class that calls to database for get stuff (get last news, get last users, etc...) My question is simple, should i call to the this data access class in the Index() action of my HomeController, and add to the ViewData the data obtained? I think that this index() action shouldnt be the responsable of passing this data to the partial views, right? Could you give me a hand? im messing too much? ;-) Thanks in advance. Best Regards. Can default Symfony form-save actions be used to post data via AJAX?

I was playing around with Symfony, jQuery, jqGrid & AJAX. For each new post submission, I am doing the foll: adding a routing entry in routing.yml defining a new action in the Actions file for the module. THis reads params, assigns values & saves the object As in the case of jqGrid, the 'Add Row' form is not a Symfony form. Is there a way to fool Symfony and post data to the executeCreate action to store a new entry. If not, does Symfony provide a way to quickly generate web services for AJAX requests for each of the modules? Is this a sensible feature? What I am going to have to do other-wise, is to create routing create a new Action get all parameters instantiate object assign values & save Any help in doing this faster will be appreciated. JSF actionListener is called multiple times from within HtmlTable

I'm using custom tags, but it's the same behavior if I use the default column tags. I've noticed a very strange effect: when clicking the actionlistenercolumn, the actionevent is handled 3 times. If I remove the 2 action columns then the actionevent is handled only once. iSightAudio.plugin error when playing video using MediaPlayer

I am working on creating a simple iPhone app that plays a movie via URL. When I Build&Run to test in the simulator, it works fine; as soon as I start playing the movie, I get the following message in the console: [1757:4b03] Cannot find executable for CFBundle/CFPlugIn 0x820ffe0 </Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/iSightAudio.plugin> (not loaded) [1757:4b03] Cannot find function pointer iSightAudioNewPlugIn for factory 9BE7661E-8AEF-11D7-8692-000A959F49B0 in CFBundle/CFPlugIn 0x820ffe0 </Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/iSightAudio.plugin> (not loaded) I don't get this error on other programs, so I assume it has something to do with this specific program, which uses the MediaPlayer.framework. Does anyone know what is causing this problem and how to fix it? Thank you

How can I separate Logic/UI in Android

Hi, I want as my application to be structured in 2 parts: the logic code and the UI. I've tried to implement that using a controller class(here I keep the logic code) inside of each activity. The activity send messages to controller and receive the answer in two ways: the answer is returned immediately (if the action is not complex and it can be done in a verry short time) the activity set some listeners and the controller fire this listener when the action is complete. The problems appears when the controller have a lot of objects(each object should handle a set of actions and for each action I have to set & trigger a listener): it is hard to keep the code syncronized. I'm asking if you know a better way to implement this mechanism. Thank you.
