Binding ComboBox Item with a text property of different DataContext

Hi Everyone, I have a comboBox as below. What I want is to bind the selectedItem value to a Text property of a datacontext so that another DataTemplate can show the Image. Jquery (non-gem) plugin won't work in my rails 3.2 app

I'm trying to equalize columns in my rails 3.2 app, and while there may be a better way to do it then my current attempt, after hours of trying to make it work I'd like to see if anyone can point out specifically why this jQuery plugin (which isn't a gem) is not working. I'm not getting any errors in the developer console, so it's hard to pin point. How to automatically extend the tab control as items are added to it without creating a scroll bar?

For now, I have to manually extend the height of the display window to see all the tab items. Your insights/tips are greatly appreciated. PS: if you know how to make the vertical scroll bar appears (without adding scroll bar to my control) as soon as the tab items exceed the window height, I can settle for that if there are no answers for my original intent.

Shadowbox + jQuery not working - No errors.

First, apologies. I'm a js newb. I'm attempting to trigger a shadowbox with the load of a specific page - a "pop-up" if you will. Nothing happens and according to firebug, there are no errors to report. I should note that this is wordpress, so I'm using the default jQuery call and also shadowbox rolled into a WP plug-in. What is wrong with regex pattern that I created: $link_image_pattern = '/\<a\shref="([^"]*)"\>\<img\s.+\><\/a\>/'; preg_match_all($link_image_pattern, $str, $link_images); What I'm trying to do is to match all the links which has images inside of them. Div Container Cleanup?

More than one JPanel in a Frame / having a brackground Image and another Layer with Components on the top

I've got a JFrame with a JPanel in which there is a JLabel with an ImageIcon(). Everything's working perfectly, problem is i now want to add another JPanel with all the other stuff like buttons and so on to the JFrame. But it still shows the background Image on top and nothing with the second JPanel. Can someone help me? IE 7 floated div auto-clearing next element ?

Hello, I'm having trouble with the following example. Background: I first have a element floated to the right with an image output inside it. I then have a element with other content within it. In FF and IE 8, as expected, the .images div floated to the right displays floated to the right pushing the content within the .product-body div to the left nicely. The problem: But when viewed in IE 7 compatibility mode, the .product-body div is cleared underneath the .images div and thus the .images div does not fall nicely to the right as expected. IT does this regardless of whether or not i have clear:none; on the .broduct-body div. Why is this one div container blocking the other from floating right?

I know the answer is very simple, it's probably one little CSS property, but I've tried to find the solution without asking it here, no luck.. There are two div containers within a div container, and they aren't playing nice. The one is positioned to float right in the upper righthand corner of the parent div, and it won't let any other container float to the right of it. I tried display:inline and display:inline-block but no luck... Make div expand only horizontally when more floating divs are added to it

I am trying to make a div that contains other floating divs to adjust its width such that adding more floating divs (dynamically using jQuery) will only expand the div in its width, not allowing the floating divs to create a new line. Therefore, I want to fix this issue such that each div with class grid-row only expands in width, and so I will be able to scroll using the overflow: scroll for the parent grid div. I have searched a lot for answers, and it seems that it is a famous issue. However, non of the answer solved my problem. Hope someone here could figured out. Im open in any suggestions, recommendations and all relevant ideas, thank you.

How do I set the dimensions of a custom component defined in an ActionScript class?

I'm trying to set the height of a vertical bar (activityBar) but it does not appear to do anything. i have tried something similar with the whole component, but setting the dimensions does nothing (even in the mxml used to instantiate the class). Indeed, I've added transparent graphics just to give the component some dimensions I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. It's something bad though; my approach seems dire. FYI: I'm trying to create a mic activity bar that will respond to the mic by simply setting the height of the activityBar child (which seems to me to be more efficient than redrawing the graphics each time). Navigate to browser from selected listbox binded hyperlink (windows phone7)

Weird CSS behavior... removing a 1px border makes <DIV> move about 20px

I have the following: CSS #pageBody { height: 500px; padding:0; margin:0; /*border: 1px solid #00ff00;*/ } #pageContent { height:460px; margin-left:35px; margin-right:35px; margin-top:30px; margin-bottom:30px; padding:0px 0 0 0; } HTML <div id="pageBody"> <div id="pageContent"> <p> blah blah blah </p> </div> </div> </div> If I uncomment the border line in pageBody, everything fits sweetly... I had the border on to verify things were as expected. But removing the border, pageBody drops down the page about 20px, while pageContent does not appear to move at all. Now this is not the real page, but a subset. If nothing's obvious I can attempt to generate a working minimal sample, but I thought there might be an easy quick answer first. I see the same exact problem in Chrome and IE8, suggesting it's me not the browser. Any tips where to look? I wondered maybe the 1px border was some tipping point making the contents of a div just too big, but changing #pageContent height to e.g 400 makes no difference, other than clipping the bottom off that div.

How to get an inner div to fill the entire wrapper div?

I have the following html code: <div class="outer ui-draggable" style="position: relative;"> <div class="inner">Foo bar</div> </div> With this CSS: .outer { background-color: #F7F085; margin: 5px; height: 100px; width: 150px; text-align:center; vertical-align:text-bottom; } .outer .inner { display:inline; vertical-align:middle; height: 100px; width: 150px; } I would like the inner div to fill the outer div completely - the text block should be an entire 100X150 box. The problem is that this code doesn't produce the desired effect. The outer div is indeed the correct size, but the inner div seems to only fill a small area at the top of the outer div. I also tried using height:inherit and width:inherit instead of specifying a size.
