• [WPF] Custom TabItem in TabControl

  I've created CustomTabItem which inherits from TabItem and i'd like to use it while binding ObservableCollection in TabControl <TabControl ItemsSource="{Binding MyObservableCollection}"/> It should like this in XAML, but i do not know how change default type of the output item created by TabControl while binding. I've tried to create converter, but it has to do something like this inside convertin method: List<CustomTabItem> resultList = new List<CustomTabItem>(); And iterate through my input ObservableCollection, create my CustomTab based on item from collection and add it to resultList... I'd like to avoid it, bacause while creating CustomTabItem i'm creating complex View and it takes a while, so i don't want to create it always when something change in binded collection. My class extends typical TabItem and i'd like to use this class in TabControl instead of TabItem. <TabControl.ItemContainerStyle> <Style TargetType="{x:Type local:CustomTabItem}"> <Setter Property="MyProperty" Value="{Binding xxx}"/> </Style> </TabControl.ItemContainerStyle> Code above generates error that Style cannot be applied to TabItem. My main purpose is to use in XAML my own CustomTabItem and bind properties... Just like above... I've also tried to use <TabControl.ItemTemplate/> <TabControl.ContentTemaplte/> But they are just styles for TabItem, so i'll still be missing my properties wchich i added in my custom class.

• JUnit Easymock Unexpected method call

  Hi, I'm trying to setup a test in JUnit w/ EasyMock and I'm running into a small issue that I can't seem to wrap my head around. I was hoping someone here could help. Here is a simplified version of the method I'm trying to test: public void myMethod() { //Some code executing here Obj myObj = this.service.getObj(param); if (myObj.getExtId() != null) { OtherObj otherObj = new OtherObj(); otherObj.setId(myObj.getExtId()); this.dao.insert(otherObj); } //Some code executing there } Ok so using EasyMock I've mocked the service.getObj(myObj) call and that works fine. My problem comes when JUnit hits the dao.insert(otherObj) call. EasyMock throws a "Unexpected Method Call" on it. I wouldn't mind mocking that dao in my test and using expectLastCall().once(); on it, but that assumes that I have a handle on the "otherObj" that's passed as a parameter at insert time... Which of course I don't since it's conditionally created within the context of the method being tested. Anyone has ever had to deal with that and somehow solved it? Thanks.

  I have a silverlight application (using MVC) and when i'm building in visual studio, using Visual Studio Development center, there's no problem, the HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.Name has a Value But when i'm using the same project with IIS 7.5 (i'm using Windows 7), HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.Name stays empty Anyone who can help? Or knows where i can find the settings from the visual studio Development center, so i can check what's wrong in IIS?

• Detect blocked popup in Chrome

  I am aware of javascript techniques to detect whether a popup is blocked in other browsers (as described in the answer to this question). Here's the basic test: var newWin = window.open(url); if(!newWin || newWin.closed || typeof newWin.closed=='undefined') { //POPUP BLOCKED } But this does not work in Chrome. The "POPUP BLOCKED" section is never reached when the popup is blocked. Of course, the test is working to an extent since Chrome doesn't actually block the popup, but opens it in a tiny minimized window at the lower right corner which lists "blocked" popups. What I would like to do is be able to tell if the popup was blocked by Chrome's popup blocker. I try to avoid browser sniffing in favor of feature detection. Is there a way to do this without browser sniffing? Edit: I have now tried making use of newWin.outerHeight, newWin.left, and other similar properties to accomplish this. Google Chrome returns all position and height values as 0 when the popup is blocked. Unfortunately, it also returns the same values even if the popup is actually opened for an unknown amount of time. After some magical period (a couple of seconds in my testing), the location and size information is returned as the correct values. In other words, I'm still no closer to figuring this out. Any help would be appreciated.

• jqGrid dynamic select option

  I'm creating a jqgrid with drop down columns and I'm using cell editing. I need the options of the drop down columns to change dynamically and I've tried implementing this by setting the column to be: { name: "AccountLookup", index: "AccountLookup", width: 90, editable: true, resizable: true, edittype: "select", formatter: "select" }, and then in the beforeCellEdit event I have: beforeEditCell: function(id, name, val, iRow, iCol) { if(name=='AccountLookup') { var listdata = GetLookupValues(id, name); if (listdata == null) listdata = "1:1"; jQuery("#grid").setColProp(name, { editoptions: { value: listdata.toString()} }) } }, GetLookupValues just returns a string in the format "1:One;2:Two" etc. That works fine however the options are populated one click behind - ie i click on AccountID in row 1, and the dropdown is empty, however when I then click on AccountID in row 3 the options I set in the row 1 click are shown in the row 3 click. And so on. So always one click behind. Is there another way of achieving what I need? Bacially the dropdown options displayed are always changing and I need to load them as user enters the cell for editing. Perhaps I can somehow get at the select control in the beforeEditCell event and manually enter its values instead of using the setColProp call? If so could I get an example of doing that please? Another thing - if the dropdown is empty and a user doesn't cancel the cell edit, the grid script throws an error. I'm using clientarray editing if that makes a difference. • Telerik RadComboBox in a RadGrid Client Side Validation Problem

  Hi all, I'm using the Telerik ASP.net control suite (2008 Q3 I believe, can't upgrade yet). I've got a radcombobox in a Radgrid control (in a GridTemplateColumn's Edit template). If functions ok, but I've got some client side validation on other controls on the grid (that appear to be working without errors). For some reason after the client side validation happens, the combo box stops functioning. No visible js errors, the thing just dies. Anyone seen this and have fix? Google has failed me. • NServiceBus and NHibernate - Message Handler and Transactions

  From my understanding NServiceBus executes the Handle method of an IMessageHandler within a transaction, if an exception propagates out of this method, then NServiceBus will ensure the message is put back on the message queue (up X amount of times before error queue) etc.. so we have an atomic operation so to speak. Now when if I inside my NServiceBus Message Handle method I do something like this using(var trans = session.BeginTransaction()) { person.Age = 10; session.Update<Person>(person); trans.Commit() } using(var trans2 = session.BeginTransaction()) { person.Age = 20; session.Update<Person>(person); // throw new ApplicationException("Oh no"); trans2.Commit() } What is the effect of this on the transaction scope? Is trans1 now counted as a nested transaction in terms of its relationship with the Nservicebus transaction even though we have done nothing to marry them up? (if not how would one link onto the transaction of NServiceBus? Looking at the second block (trans2), if I uncomment the throw statement, will the NServiceBus transaction then rollback trans1 as well? In basic scenarios, say I dump the above into a console app, then trans1 is independent, commit, flushed and won't rollback. I'm trying to clarify what happens now we sit in someone else's transaction like NServiceBus? The above is just example code, im wouldnt be working directly with session, more like through a uow pattern.

  I am having an issue running GPUImage. I have modified SimpleVideoFileFilter program(replaced the filter with a chromakeyfilter) and am using my own video. My program is terminating due to the following error: [AVAssetWriter startWriting] Cannot call method when status is 3' I have gone through the forums but not sure why the moviewriter is closing and then someone is writing to it. I am using iPhone4 running iOS 7.0 Any clues are greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

• iPhone SDK: subFolders inside the main bundle

  Hi, in the current project I have a number of folders, with subfolders, and these contain images: 01.png, 02.png. Folder1/FolderA/f1.png Folder1/FolderB/F1.png When I compile the app, I looked inside the the .app and noticed that all the images are placed in the top level, with no sub-folders. So clearly when trying to load the image this doesn't work: NSString *filePath = [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"f1" ofType:@"png" inDirectory:@"Folder1/FolderA"]; But even more strangely, when loading image "f1", the image actually loads "F1" UIImageView *imageView = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"f1.png"]]; Anyone have ideas on how to get around this problem? Is there a compile option to create the folders in the app bundle? TIA.

• Biztalk suspended messages in database

  Hi, I was wondering if some1 knows where I can see the data of a suspended message in the biztalk database. I need this because about 900 messages have been suspended because of a validation and I need to edit all of them, resuming isn't possible. I know that info of suspended messages are shown in "BizTalkMsgBoxDb" in the table "InstancesSuspended" and that the different parts of each message are shown in the table "MessageParts". However I can't find the table where the actual data is stored. Does anyone have any idea where this can be done? Thx

  I'm trying to call a third party webservice using WSE 3.0 as a client in Visual Studio 2005. The call works fine and I can see that I get a good response (I have tracing enabled), but apparently the xml parser chokes over it. I always get an InvalidOperationException: There is en error in the XML document. with an InnerException: The specified type was not recognized: name='Map', namespace='http://xml.apache.org/xml-soap', at <bevoegdheid xmlns=''>. I have been googling around for this, but the only kind of answer I've found is something along the lines of The service uses rpc/encoded format which is harder to get interoperability with. If you can change the server to document/literal it is better. But as this is a third party service (which is already used by other clients), this is no option for us. Any other suggestions? How can I get the xml parser to recognize that "Map" type?

• Entity Framework 4 mapping fragment error when adding new entity scalar

  I have an Entity Framework 4 model-first design. I create a first draft of my model in the designer and all was well. I compiled, generated database, etc. Later on I tried to add a string scalar (Nullable = true) to one of my existing entities and I keep getting this type of error when I compile: Error 3004: Problem in mapping fragments starting at line 569: No mapping specified for properties MyEntity.MyValue in Set MyEntities. An Entity with Key (PK) will not round-trip when: Entity is type [MyEntities.MyEntity] I keep having to manually open the EDMX file and correct the XML whenever I add scalars. Ideas on what's going on?

This is a WPF project, but exception occurs before the App_ctor is executed, so this is external code, and my application code did not start to execute. This happens sporadically, sometimes it happens only once, and sometimes I run the project and get this message for several times in a roll. Then it does not pop up for 5-6 runs, and then starts again. Anyone knows why is this happening? I have just installed clean W8.1 64 bit, VS2013 and TFS 2013 (although I had the same problem with W8 and VS2012, but not as often).

• Streaming Audio over UDP to Android

  Is it possible to have Android (perhaps via MediaPlayer or a different existing class) accept media streams over UDP? I've successfully had MediaPlayer connect to an HTTP stream (as well as static files hosted on an HTTP server) but I'm wondering how one would go about accepting a stream from a UDP source. I've seen this and suppose a solution similar to that (where I download the stream via an independent UDP socket and then move the data to a MemoryBuffer that I then pass to MediaPlayer) is an option but I'm curious if a method already exists in the SDK, and if it does not, what other options do I have? • Keep the current Jquery accordion pane open after asp.net postback?

  I have a jquery accordion on an asp.net aspx weppage. Inside the panes, I have asp.net buttons. When I click on the button, the pane I was in, closes and reloads the page, defaulting to the first pane. I don't mind the reload, but is there a way to keep the current pane open after the reload. Right now, I am just calling accordion() on a div with the id of accordion.
