• Problem with launching JAGUAR in R

  Windows XP, R 2.11.1, Java JRE6 I just installed the Jaguar package. From an R console, I can do this: > library(JGR) Loading required package: rJava Loading required package: JavaGD Loading required package: iplots Please use the corresponding JGR launcher to start JGR. Run JGR() for details. You can also use JGR(update=TRUE) to update JGR. and so JGR appears to be correctly installed. JGR() yields On Windows JGR must be started using the JGR.exe launcher. Please visit http://www.rosuda.org/JGR/ to download it. > I'm not sure how to run Jaguar - I know I have to run jgr.exe - but should R be already open? If so, should the JGR library be already loaded? I've tried all of these, and what seems to happen regardless is a console window opens briefly, then disappears. I've run jrg --debug, with no apparent error message: (same file regardless of choice made above). What should I be doing? Thanks! • xajax and codeigniter - blank page and xajax request URI error.

  I am unfortunately getting a blank page when trying to run a site locally. There are other people running it locally just fine, so I am wondering if it could be something to do with my LAMP environment. When I attempt to load the site, it's nothing but a blank page. I've ran php index.php in console and the error I get is the following "xajax Error: xajax failed to automatically identify your Request URI.Please set the Request URI explicitly when you instantiate the xajax object.". I'm not quite sure how to handle this in CodeIgniter and or at all to be honest.

• WordPress MU: Login from main page but not individual blogs

  I recently upgraded to WPMU 2.8.6 and ever since, my users can't log in on their individual blogs, but they can log in from the main page. My site is at blogs.mtwp.net (we're a school district). So if a user goes to blogs.mtwp.net/BLOGNAME/wp-login.php, their password is rejected. If they go toblogs.mtwp.net/wp-login.php, they can log in and get to the dashboard from there. But it's not all users. Site admins can get in just fine. We're using wpDirAuth 1.4 if that makes a difference. Honestly, I'm stumped. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

• Redirect in combination with a rewrite condition in htaccess

  Hi all! I've got a cms-driven website, with no option to change the code. What I want to accomplish is creating friendly url's, using only apaches mod-rewrite engine. The problem is I'm creating an infinite loop, because I first redirect the original url (index.php?id=21) to a friendly one (/friendly/) and then rewrite the '/friendly' part back to 'id=21' I know there should be an extra condition or parameter to avoid looping in this case, but I can´t get one of the possible solutions to work. • Cannot find code completion and suggestions in Aptana 2.0

  Greetings, I recently started using Aptana 1.5 to work on a site via FTP, developing pages in .php format with a mixture of HTML, CSS, jQuery, and -- naturally -- PHP. I develop a page with all of these elements together to save time, then separate them. One thing that I really liked about Aptana 1.5 was that it completed code (brackets, parentheses, etc) and suggested things as I typed. I upgraded to 2.0 today and cannot figure out for the life of me how to bring back all of these capabilities -- or remember if I had to do anything in 1.5 to get them. Here is a picture of what I am looking for Notice the suggestion for margin: and the "HTML, Js, CSS" up top. Any help with getting this to work in 2.0 would be greatly appreciated. Ever since installing 2.0, 1.5 has been throwing error messages and I can't seem to get my FTP settings to stay locked in.

• Magento set Store Id - customer login - but still logged out

  I've got an overridden AccountController in which i set the current store to an other as currently running (example: Customer is in website default and store default, going to login page, click login, my loginPostAction sets the store to id "2" (on website 2) and then executes the parent code loginPostAction. The store is set, of course, but after the login and the redirect to home, the customer is not logged in anymore... Customer-sendlogindata-myaccountcontroller sets store-original account controller logs in without errors (cause $session customer is set)-redirect to home-customer is not logged in anymore... i set the store with Mage::app()-setCurrentStore($id); . And in index.php i've got an extra where the store is set to the right id (2) too and this works... but the customer is not logged in anymore.. is that an issue with the session cause different websites ? I don't want to globally share customer.. each website has his own customers, but every customer has to be able to login on default store.   Regular expressions have always been my pet peeves. Every time I think that I finally got it I have a new problem ! I want to catch url like this : http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla-1/bla-bla2/99/104 http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla1/99 and eventually : http://www.mydomain.com/boutique/blabla-1/bla-bla2/product1/99/104/55/ after a lot of tries and errors I came up with this which seems to work with http://www.gskinner.com/RegExr/ but not in apache ^.*/boutique/([a-zA-Z-]*)(/?[a-zA-Z-]*)/?([0-9]*)/?([0-9]*)/?$ boutique.php?c1=$3&c2=$4 (I was only working with the first two url so far) MY apache rewrite log debug files are helpless : pass through /Users/iko/Sites/mysite/boutique.php I'm only interrested in getting the ids.   I'm not sure if this is doable, but I would like to be able to set a jQuery UI event as a function (directly), as opposed to continuing to wrap in additional function(event, ui) { ... } wrappers. Hopefully you can see what I'm going for from the example below.   In CakePHP 1.2, custom inflector rules could be defined in a file app/config/inflections.php. This file was removed in CakePHP 1.3. Instead, the documentation prescribes using the Inflector::rules function to load custom inflections. There's adequate documentation of how to define the custom inflections themselves, but the documentation gives no context—where to use Inflector::rules. Should any custom inflections be defined in the bootstrap.php script? At the top of applicable corresponding controllers? Somewhere else? • Cannot Call WordPress Plugin Files Under wp-content

  I have a client who has many blog customers. Each of these WordPress blogs calls a plugin that provides a product link. The way that link is composed looks like this: {website}/wp-content/plugins/prodx/product?id=432320 This works fine on all blogs except two. On those two, when you try to call the URL, you get a 404. So, I disabled all plugins except prodx and reverted the theme to default (Kubrick), thinking perhaps a plugin intercept with add_action() API was doing this, such as intercepting URLs and redirecting them. However, this did not help. So, I upgraded the WordPress to the latest version. Again, didn't fix. So, I checked permissions, comparing with a blog that worked just fine. Again, didn't fix. So I replaced the .htaccess, using one from a working blog. Again, didn't fix. So I replaced all the files using some from a working blog that was identical to this one, and then restored the wp-config.php file back so that it talked to the right blog database. Again, didn't fix. Again I checked permissions meticulously, comparing to a perfectly working blog. Again, didn't fix. So, I created a test.php that looks like so: <?php print_r($_GET); echo "hello world"; I then copied it into another plugin folder and used my browser to get to it -- again, 404. So I copied it into the root of wp-content/plugins and tried to call it there -- again, 404. So I copied it into wp-content -- again, 404. Last, I copied it into the root of the WordPress blog website, and this time, it worked! Doesn't make sense. I started to think that perhaps something was going on with /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf for this customer, but the only thing I saw different in their for this customer was the IP address was different than the customer's blog that worked. Each customer gets their own IP in this environment my client has built. My client sysop is baffled too. What do you think is going on? Is there something wrong in the WP database for this customer? Is there something wrong in httpd.conf?

  hi everybody, I have an mvc php website where users can publish their public information: http://www.example.com/foobar/profile. Beside this project, based on some red5 samples, I have an application (done with Flex) that sends audio: rtmp://server/sendAudio (very basic but works). I want to create for each subscribed on my website an admin part where can send an audio stream: http://admin.example.com/foobar. And, when someone goes on their public profile, they can listen to the streamed audio: http://www.example.com/foobar/profile). How can I use my red5/flash app dynamically with my php website so that my users can broadcast their proper canal? Do you have some experience to share ? Thank you, Regards.

• Finding an HTTP proxy that will intercept static resource requests

  Background I develop a web application that lives on an embedded device. In order to make dev times sane, frontend development is done using apache serving static documents, with PHP proxying out to the embedded device for specifically configured dynamic resources. This requires that we keep various server-simulation scripts hanging around in source control, and it requires updating those scripts whenever we add a new dynamic resource. Problem I'd like to invert the logic: if the requested document is available in the static documents directory, serve it; otherwise, proxy the request to the embedded device. Optimally, I want a software package that will do this for me (for Windows or buildable on cygwin). I can deal with forcing apache to do it with PHP, but I'm unsure how to configure it to make it happen. I've looked at squid and privoxy, but neither of them seem to do what I want. Any ideas? I'd rather not have to roll my own.

• Why can't I override WP's 'excerpt_more' filter via my child theme functions?

  I can't seem to get my functions to work for changing the excerpt_more filter of the Twenty Eleven parent theme. I suspect it might actually be add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'twentyeleven_setup' ); that's the problem, but I've even tried remove_filter( 'excerpt_more', 'twentyeleven_auto_excerpt_more' ) to get rid Twenty Eleven's function and still my functions aren't changing anything... Can you help?
