    I've got a standard Zend Framework 1 project that looks a bit like this: Project |- public |- .htaccess |- index.php The .htaccess looks like this: RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^image/.*$ img.php?file=$1 [NC,L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -s [OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -l [OR] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d RewriteRule ^.*$ - [NC,L] RewriteRule ^.*$ index.php [NC,L] Now I want to start transitioning the site to Zend Framework 2, which I put in a separate directory in the root, so the whole thing looks like this: Project |- public |- .htaccess |- index.php |- zf2 |- public |- .htaccess |- index.php What would I have to change in my original (ZF1) .htaccess to route all requests to (for example) /zf2/whatever to ZF2's index.php? I've tried RewriteRule ^zf2(/.*)$ ../zf2/public/index.php [NC,L] in the line after RewriteBase /, but that just gives me a 400 Bad Request.

  • Do reactive extensions and ETL go together?

    I don't fully understand reactive extensions, but my inital reading caused me think about the ETL code I have. Right now its basically a workflow to to perform various operations in a certain sequence based on conditions it find as it progresses. I can also imagine an event driven way such that only a small amount of imperative logic causes a chain reaction to occur. Of course I don't need a new type of programming model to make an event driven collaboration like that. Just the same I am wondering if ETL is a good fit for potentially exploring Rx further. Is my connection in a valid direction even? If not, could you briefly correct the error in my logic?

    After very long time using Ubuntu old LTS version I have re-installed to new LTS 12.10, but I can't get rid of ipv6 ! I have did: in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf: blacklist ipv6 blacklist ip6table_filter blacklist ip6_tables in /etc/sysctl.conf net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1 But ufw happily use v6 protocol, and in dmesg: ip6_tables: (C) 2000-2006 Netfilter Core Team . . IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): em1: link becomes ready What is going to take to get rid of IPv6 ? I swear Terminator didn't put so much fight.

  • Rotation, further I go from 0:0, the further the object positions around the origin while rotating

    For some reason I am having the issue where the following code: global.spriteBatch.Draw(obj.sprite, obj.getPosition(), null, Color.White, obj.rotation, obj.center, 2f, SpriteEffects.None, 1); causes the object to rotate around the origin in such a way, as though there is an offset to the position relative to its location. The calculation for the center it correct and this happens even if I set the pivot to be the location of the object. The further I get from 0:0 the larger the radius or rotation. I am not sure what is going on here because given the following tutorial http://www.riemers.net/eng/Tutorials/XNA/Csharp/Series2D/Rotation.php I have done the code setup correctly. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

  • 12.04 How to go back to command line only ubuntu

    I was attempting to install a command line only version of Ubuntu and followed the instructions here. I downloaded the alternate CD and went through the installation, but never got an "Install a command-line system." option. 12.04 is now up and running, though i don't need the desktop GUI. From what i have read i can set it back into text mode using grub, but what packages should i remove that i don't need any more?

    I finished University around 4 years ago double degree in Software Eng/Comp Sci. Got my first job at a startup in my final year, was with them for 2.5 years then started my own business. So far everything is going great, lots of clients and stead work etc, but coming right out of uni and into a start up I never had any form or senior software engineer guiding my work or suggesting improvements etc... Whats the best way for me to improve & learn more? Books? MS Exams? Other? I develop in C#, ASP.NET/MVC. Update The problem isn't really with releasing products, I've released quite a few which are up and running with customers happy. It's more with quality of code, best practices, how do I know something I am code is correct, it may work but there may be ways of coding it much more efficiently or by adhering to some kind of standard Cheers for any responses!     I am a newbie to Linux and have installed 12.04 on to an old Dell GX260, I was hoping that I could slowly extract myself from Microsoft - but unless I can fix this simplest of problems I am thinking that this version of Linux is not ready for me yet!! I have read various posts but none seem to match, I believe the driver is installed, but under displays the maximum allowed in the drop down box is 1024x768 (4:3) display is unknown and detect displays does nothing. I have loaded all updates available but still no fix. xrandr shows: VGA1 connected 1024x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 0mm x 0mm 1024x768 60.0* 800x600 60.3 56.2 848x480 60.0 640x480 59.9 xrandr --addmode VGA1 1360x768 cannot find mode "1360x768" anything above 1024x768 can not be found, but then I could be doing this out of step!!

    I'm now using Ubuntu 12.04. In earlier versions you could associate a filetype with a specific command (e.g. self-compiled binary) by selecting "Open with" in the file's properties and select the command by providing the file path manually if it wasn't already in the list of applications. Is this possibility gone? The only way I found now is to create .desktop files and edit the mimetypes via an text editor.
