    Hi all, I have a scenario in mercurial, and i cant finad anything that would tell me how to solve it. Basically, i have a mercurial repository with numerous branches for stable, development, experimental features etc.... However, ive found a bug in a set of core application files that are common to each branch. Is there a way to modify these files, and then push the changes to the common files to all the other branches, without sending any other changes? any help would be appreciated.

    Not sure if this would be a correct place to post, but here it goes. Ive been getting reports form people who try accessing my site from a PS3, that every page appears like a jumble of random characters on a white background, sorta like echoing out a gzipped string as plain text. Im using nginx. Does the PS3 browser not support gzipping? Anything I can do except disabling it?

    Hi there My boss wants to buy a certificate for his SBS so external connection can be made. they access on an IP number. What should he spend on the certificate? Where should he buy from? Verisign seems like overkill as its not an ecommerce site, just needs some security. Ive seen some cheap ones at $20 / yr - are there any problems with getting cheap certificates?

    Ive a 7.5 IIS installed on my server with windows authentication enabled cause i need it for NTLM / SSO on intranet pages. when windows authentication is activated, iis cant authenticate himself on his own webserver.. thats the error i got in the iis log: 2011-11-24 08:47:10 10.50.2.91 POST /ldap.php - 80 - 10.50.2.91 SWIFT_LoginShare 401 2 5 0 so.. how can i make sure, using windows authentication, that iis authenticates himself? thx for your help

It seems as though they require local administrator privileges to do so, however Ive been instructed not to give them that. They can print normally from their desktop without issue. Is there some special permission to allow citrix to print through to local/network printers short of granting local admin to these users?

    Ever since i installed windows 8, I'm unable to use Ctrl + Shift + Arrow Keys (to select words and phrases quickly in text editors) with any program. Ive found the same issue with other models of Logitech keyboards (not with any other brand, though) however, the solutions provided to those other models aren't working for me (or are impossible to complete, because of the difference in the model) If you have a possible solution, please reply! For the view of the eye it doesnt really look nice and i want to be able to maybe split tha t long list of filters into a few shorter once. But i cant figure out how to do this. Ive seen where i can move the whole pivot table, but then its all included and as one unsplitable piece.... anyone knows if this is possible??

  • Three monitor setup not working on Server 2012

    Using an ATI firepro 4800 card, with three monitors connected (1 dvi, 2 displayport) on Server 2008 R2 worked fine. Ive now moved to a new machine, although identical spec, with a fresh Server 2012 install, and cannot get a three display output - only two. When I try to extend the display on to the third monitor, I get the message "The display settings could not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings" The machine is a Dell Precision T1600. Any help appreciated.

    im trying to image a new HP netbook via the windows 7 BACK UP util. however, it doesnt detect the external drive, although it's seen in my computer and BIOS. i tried using HP recovery manager with recovery disc creation but it says, no burning device installed although there is one... anyone successful in using the win7 back up utility? ive been tinkering this for a while but i cant make it right using an external dvd drive. unless i'll plug in an external hdd/

    im using php scritps to upload file from my pc to our developments server the problem is after a hours my scripts seems doesn`t work or something is blocking it to upload images file.. our office as a new firewalll system application that allows to block applications and others is this connected to what ive encountered now? because script even the previous system scripts for uploading image that i created failed to work ..     Ive just tried to use atmosphere.java.net (to see what it is) and I am not able to do it. Why is Java .NET so slow? Is it because they used Java in the server and are as incompetent as people whom write questions for SCJP? Does Sun have any competent employee and have you ever saw one ? (except the guy from Java Puzzles who made a career, because he made a lot of mistakes in Java API and now can teach us about it.) P.S.
