• Can two different browser share on cookie?

  Hi Friends My requirement is pretty interesting, I want to maintain one cookie between two different browser for same domain. so lets say I have create one cookie with name "mydata" and value "hiscal" from IE, then if i browse same website from firefox and trying to read cookie "mydata" then system should give me value "hiscal" but this is not happen in general case so can any one tell me how i can share cookie between to different browser(client) of same domain.   Can someone point me in the right direction in regards to making an api use basic http authentication? I am creating a restful api with symfony but would like to require users to be logged in to get certain data.   I've a bash script that runs a ruby script that fetches my twitter feeds. ## /home/username/twittercron #!/bin/bash cd /home/username/twitter ruby twitter.rb friends It runs successfully in command line. /home/username/twittercron But when I try to run it as a cronjob, it ran but wasn't able to fetch the feeds. ## crontab -e */15 * * * * * /home/username/twittercron The script has been chmod +x. Not sure why it's as such. Any ideas?
