  • App Engine SDK Console Not Fully Updated on OSX for GAE Release 1.3.4

    I downloaded and am running the latest SDK (in About GoogleAppleEngineLauncher, I see it is version 1.3.4.794), but when I open the SDK Console and go to the Task Queue section, I still see "Tasks will not run automatically. Select a queue to run tasks manually." I have not added the flag --disable_task_running, so I'm confused as to why it is still manual for me.

    Hi guys i have a table with shifts history along with emp ids im using this code to retrieve a list of employees and their total shifts by specifying the range to count from: SELECT ope_id, count(ope_id) FROM operator_shift WHERE ope_shift_date >=to_date( '01-MAR-10','dd-mon-yy') and ope_shift_date <= to_date('31-MAR-10','dd-mon-yy') GROUP BY OPE_ID which gives OPE_ID COUNT(OPE_ID) 1 14 2 7 3 6 4 6 5 2 6 5 7 2 8 1 9 2 10 4 10 rows selected. NOW how do i choose the employee with the highest no of shifts under the specified range date, please this is really important

    Hey guys, I am working on a Natural Language parser which examines a sentence in english and extracts some information like name, date etc. for example: "Lets meet next tuesday at 5 PM at the beach." So the output will be something like : "Lets meet 15/09/2009 at 1700 hr at the beach" So basically, what i want to know is that is there any framework or library available for JAVA to do these kind of operations like parsing dates from a sentence and give a output with some specified format.     I have a PHP application using an Oracle XE database. Whenever I add a date the hours minutes, and seconds seem to get left out. Is there some special format, or type I should use to be able to store this? I have tried using to_date, and specifying the format I am using.     Hi, anyone has tried to create a symfony form filter from a class which has a field of type "date" ? When i do it, i get this error: 500 | Internal Server Error | Doctrine_Connection_Mysql_Exception SQLSTATE[HY093]: Invalid parameter number: number of bound variables does not match number of tokens stack trace I think the error dependens on this command: 'SELECT b.id AS b_id, b.day AS b_day FROM birthday b WHERE b.day = ? AND b.day <= ?', array('month' = '1','day' = '2', 'year' = '2014') but i dont know how can i solve it.. Any idea? Javi

  • Custom librairies with Razor with the release version of MVC 3

    So I'm developing an in-house library for MVC 3 and I want to add it to my project. I added it to my web.config. I added the assembly and added it to the pages - namespaces section and... no. Doesn't work. I tried recompiling, etc... but Razor doesn't like it at all. It's not an intellisense problem... the site can't run if I use my defined namespace. The only way that I made it work was by using the following statements: @using Sample.Helpers I don't want to use it in the pages. I want to be able to deploy it to many projects and adding it to the web.config is definitely the way to go. Anyone ran into this problem?

    I am building a custom CMS in ASP.NET MVC and one of the requirements is that the content has a start and end date that dictates whether or not the page appears on the site. What is the best approach to this? Should I run some sort of chron job to mark the status of the page according to its publish dates? Does anyone have any resources or advice on the matter?

    I have an application with existing data, that has Zero in the date column. When I look at it from sqlplus I see: 00-DECEMB when I use the dump function on this column, I Get: Typ=12 Len=7: 100,100,0,0,1,1,1 I need to work with the existing data from .Net (no changes to the data,or the data structure or even existing sql statements) How the hack do I read this value, or write it. The db version varies, from 8 to 11. Help would be appreciated

    Why does this fail: DECLARE @DATE VARCHAR(50) = 'dasf' SELECT CASE WHEN ISDATE(@DATE) = 1 THEN CONVERT(date,@DATE) ELSE @DATE END Msg 241, Level 16, State 1, Line 2 Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string. Why is it trying to convert dasf to date when it clearly causes ISDATE(@DATE) = 1 to evaluate to false... If I do: SELECT ISDATE(@DATE) The return value is 0.
