  I am looking for a way to add a button to a JQuery buttonset at runtime with javascript. if(response.success) { var menuItem = document.createElement('a'); $(menuItem).attr('href', response.href); $(menuItem).attr('category-id', response.id); $(menuItem).text(title); $("#menu-buttonset").append(menuItem); } I am adding the hyperlink to the div container of the buttonset using javascript, and then re-calling buttonset() on the container. $("#menu-buttonset").buttonset(); This however does not seem to rebuild the buttonset as I expected. I am not seeing any function in the JQuery API for this either. Can anyone provide some insight?

  I have a user table 'users' that has fields like: id first_name last_name ... and have another table that determines relationships: user_id friend_id user_accepted friend_accepted .... I would like to generate a query that selects all the users but also add another field/column say 'network_status' that depends on the values of user_accepted and fiend_accepted. For example, if user_accepted is true friend_accepted is false I want the 'network_status' field to say 'request sent'. Can I possibly do this in one query? (I would prefer not to user if/else inside the query but if that's the only way so be it)

  I'm having trouble adding an XmlElement to a non-root element in PowerShell. Basically, given this xml: <clubs> <club name="boca" position="1"> <field>bombonera</field> <field>bombonerita</field> </club> <club name="racing" position="19"> <field>cilindro</field> </club> </clubs> I create an element, $new = $clubs.CreateElement("Barracas") When I try to add this element to a non-root node i.e. $clubs.clubs.club += $new I get Cannot set "club" because only strings can be used as values to set XmlNode properties. However for example if a span is inside a div they are both getting borders. I only want to target the span. I thought that adding event.stopPropagation() would do the trick (this is what I would do in Flex, which is what I am more used to) but I guess this is a live event which I dont even understand what that means. So basically how can target the youngest element without triggering the parents? Thanks!!

  I have a function that checks the age of a form submission and then returns new content in a div depending on their age. right now I am just using getElementById to replace the html content. BUt I think would work better for me if I could also add a class to a div as well. Model with domain service are in separate project - App1.Data. Silverlight and generated model proxy classes are in App1 project. I want to add property to model entity class EntityClass to get this property on client side. So I did it that way - added this class to project App1.Data: public partial class EntityClass { [DataMember] public List<EntityClass2> PropertyName {get; set;} } After rebuilding EntityClass proxy on client side doesn't have this new property.   Hello, Using Visual Studio 2010 10.0.20319.1 RTMRel and SQL Server Express 10.50.1600.1 I'm trying to add a new SQL Server Database .mdf, however, I receive the following error: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 25 – Connection string is not valid) I have enabled TCP/IP and Named Pipelines, added Firewall Exceptions for Sql Server, I am successfully connecting from VS in the Server Explorer window. I would appreciate if someone can pint me to a solution to my problem. Thank you.
