  In a MySQL master-slave replication enviroment if I have 4 slave servers how can I execute load balanced select queries? Should I write a PHP class to dealing with the 4 slaves or it is possible to address queries to MySQL's own load balancer solution? Is there a MySQL load balancing solutions? • Does the Python 3 interpreter have a JIT feature?

  I found that when I ask something more to Python, python doesn't use my machine resource at 100% and it's not really fast, it's fast if compared to many other interpreted languages, but when compared to compiled languages i think that the difference is really remarkable. It's possible to speedup things with a JIT compiler in Python 3 ? Usually a JIT compiler is the only thing that can improve performances in interpreted languages, so i'm referring to this one, if other solutions are available i would love to accept new answers.

  If more than one core on a processor is accessing the same memory address, will they thrash each other's caches or will some snooping protocol allow each to keep the data in L1-cache? I am interested in a general answer as well as answers for specific processors. How many layers of cache are invalidated? In php, you can use NOW() like this: mysql_query("INSERT INTO tablename (id, value, time_created) VALUES ('{$id}', '{$value}', NOW())"); How can I do the same thing in PDO. When I bind like this, I get an error: $stmt->bindParam(':time_added', NOW(), PDO::PARAM_STR); Is it the PDO:PARAM_STR?
