  • Android as SIP to GSM gateway

    Soon I could use a SIP to GSM gateway, because I'll need to make phone calls from Germany to a mobile phone in Czech Republik. Hence, I thought about implementing one. Now, the questions are: Does such a solution already exist (for a reasonable price)? Is it possible to redirect a (voice) stream to a GSM connection with the available Android APIs (SDK or NDK)? Ideas, suggestions, comments are highly welcome.

    Hi all, I have a similar problem as a previously solved problem of mine, except this time solution doesn't seem to work: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2991365/how-to-auto-insert-the-current-user-when-creating-an-object-in-django-admin Previously i used to override the save_model to stamp the user submitting the article.     I'm working on a task system and I'd like to be able to submit a task to the system by emailing it to a particular address. I'm thinking I could set my user by the sender, the task subject by the subject and the task comments by the text of the email. Not sure the version of Exchange we have available if that matters but I'm running .net 3.5 and using C#. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks, Charlie

In php, you can use NOW() like this: mysql_query("INSERT INTO tablename (id, value, time_created) VALUES ('{$id}', '{$value}', NOW())"); How can I do the same thing in PDO. When I bind like this, I get an error: $stmt->bindParam(':time_added', NOW(), PDO::PARAM_STR); Is it the PDO:PARAM_STR?

  • SDL_GL_SwapBuffers Segfault

    I'm getting a segfault that GDB says is coming from SDL_GL_SwapBuffers. However, I can't imagine why. The SDL documentation mentions no specific pre-conditions for calling swapBuffers except that double buffering be allowed. Is this an option I have to turn on while initializing OpenGL or is this a hardware capability thing? My code: http://pastie.org/859721 (Ignore the unused variables, strange comments and other things. I haven't prettied this up at all. :P)

  • F# compiler order of source files

    As I understand it, when using F#, you have to manually list the source files in dependency order for the compiler's benefit (if there is any way around that, please let me know!) Listing them on the command line from left to right obviously isn't going to scale. Is there a way to at least make it accept the list of files in a text file, one per line, preferably with the ability to put in blank lines and comments? I've checked the compiler options, and I don't see anything that looks promising.

  • using Visual Studio 2010 and speech recognition on windows 7?

    I've never used Speech Recognition (SR) at all, but I'm hearing that the built-in SR capabilities of windows 7 is not half-bad. I'm thinking that it might be a real productivity booster with Visual Studio so I can decrease the use of the mouse (no Emacs comments please ;-). I don't envision not using the keyboard to type the actual code--but maybe that would work too? Does anyone have experience using SR with Visual Studio on Windows 7? If so, any tips on usage?

    Hello, currently I have dual boot with 2 windows 7. (dont ask why, long story, I need them for each with different settings involving Audio Recording) I am very keen to install the new Ubuntu and get into a new OS, out of interest but I don't want to mess with my current 2 windows installations? If I install Ubuntu, will this simply add to my list of OS boot options when you set it, like I did when I install my 2nd Windows 7 Any comments or help would be great? Thanks Bill

For instance, is it in any way guaranteed that the following code will always produce the same results, whatever the version of Python (existing and in the foreseeable future)? 0 == False # True 1 == True # True ['zero', 'one'][False] # is 'zero' Any reference to the official documentation would be much appreciated!     I have two almost similar source code trees, but do not have access to the source code repository so I am stuck with release packages that contain also test reports, documentation, binaries etc. the diff command only support --exclude, but I would like to do something like diff -wbur --include='*.c,*.h' tree1 tree2 I know that this question is somewhat related, but does not really address my issue. Bonus points for ignoring change blocks that are completely in C comments :)

Seems pretty verbose and I would need this in a few different places in the application.

    Im building an automatic refreshing comment section for my website using jQuery .load. So I am using a javascript 'setTimeout' timer to check for new comments. But after doing some stuff like changing comment pages or deleting (all using ajax), a few old timers keep running, even though I used clearTimeout before loading new ajax content. Is there some way to clear ALL javascript timers when I load new ajax content?
