  i have a script that uploads images, creates a hash for it, creates 3 directories, and stores the image to imgs/f3s/v5g/234/536_f3sv5g2344270fd093ee8a9bf8de3de32dad.jpg (the “536_” is the user id) so im trying to turn imgs/f3s/v5g/234/536_f3sv5g2344270fd093ee8a9bf8de3de32dad.jpg into user_pics/536/536_f3sv5g2344270fd093ee8a9bf8de3de32dad.jpg how can i do that? i want that if someone wants to view the photo, they see the new directory in the url, not the one with 3 sub directories.

While I had the shadow copies (and backups elsewhere), I couldn't answer the obvious first question. "Who deleted the files?"   How can I block a specific directory of a website as e.g. http://example.com/someSite unfortunately the hosts file is not an option since you can only block whole domains there and any "/" just destroys these rules. This is just for my personal protection against visiting some sites too often, while i still have to be able to get to the other sites of that domain (as e.g. example.com/someOtherSite) Would be great if someone knows a solution regarding this topic.

  I am looking for an alternative to Softerra's LDAP Administrator, simply for the price is over-budget for a small team to test the LDAP credentials. • Alias a linked Server in SQL server management studio?

  Hoping someone can help - is there a way in SQL server management studio 2008 R2 that I can alias a linked SQL server? I have a server, added by IP address, to which I do not have the login credentials - however as the connection is already setup I can login ok. Issue is that, this is a dev environment, prior to a live deployment and the IP I have as a linked server needs to be 'accessible' by my stored procs under a different name, eg 'myserver' not 192.168.xxx.xxx... Any help much appreciated.

  I love using Dropbox to sync files between all my machines, and I've heard it uses rsync internally to keep files synced. Sometimes I need to sync very large things, and I don't necessarily want to pay for storage space on someone else's server when I have my own.   Is there any reason paths are still limited to ~250 characters in Windows? I'm not asking about a solution here (since there isn't one, other than \\?\ perhaps), but about why this is still an issue in 2012. Microsoft itself has failed to provide an explanation, so I'm hoping that maybe someone here, who has more insight into this than me, can provide an answer. Also, if \\?\ is supposed to be the "cure" to this, why aren't paths implicitly converted to the \\?\ notation by Microsoft's own programs?

  I am trying to isolate the root cause of slow transfer speeds from my host OS to a KVM client. Both are Linux. Rsync on the host 192.168.1.72 rsync -auv --progress rut3.img /tmp/ [54.09MB/s] Rsync to the client: rsync -auv --progress rut3.img 192.168.1.80:/tmp/ [25.52MB/s] I realize that there will be some TCP overhead on the transfer but over 50%? Can someone enlighten me on what could be slowing down the transfers so much?

  Maybe someone knows a reason for following behaviour: I'm going to add a printer thru the normal printer wizard. At the step where to connect to a shared printer i select browse and take a printer from the printers attached to another host. That won't work. But if i write the complete address (\\host\printer) the printer get attached. Any idea why i cannot select from the list ?

I am using the IF function to find cells within certain ranges, but want the cell to contain the value if it falls within that specific range. for example: =IF (AA3 is between 150 and 400 then AD3 is equal to AA3 and if not leave blank) my current formula below does not work: =IF(AND(AA3150, AA3<400), AD3=AA3, "" ) where AD3 is the cell I am working in... any suggestions?
