  • tomcat server is not starting,

    I am running tomcat server on Fedora machine. when I run tomcat using following command, service tomcat start it runs on localhost , but when i try to connect to the server using public ip address of the server as follows remotly http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080 it does not start could someone help me with this issue Thanks in advance for any help

  • Install Active Directory on Windows Server 2008 R2 for CRM 2011?

    I have just set up a VM for Windows Server 2008 R2 and want to install Microsoft CRM 2011 to play around with it. CRM 2011 seems to require Active Directory to be configured and running on the server. I've never gotten involved with Active Directory and I know that I need to install it and get it going for the CRM 2011 to continue. Does anyone have any quick pointers and/or resources for someone with no Active Directory experience, so that I can get CRM 2011 installed?

    I have just added a Windows Home Server (WHS) to my home network and a few of my computers are now connected to it and, using the client software, back themselves up each evening. I want to connect a computer that's outside of my home network (in someone else's house) to do the WHS via the internet. How do I do this? (i.e. There must be a way to hack the client software and tell give it an IP/port that you can expose from the WHS.)

  • Serving index.html from a subdirectory

    In my document root, I have to directories: home and foobar, both with their own index.html files. How can I set it up so that when someone visits my site at example.com, they see the contents on home/index.html? I tried using an index.php with a redirect in document root, as well as a .htaccess redirect, but both of them change the URL in the browser to example.com/home/, which I would like to ideally avoid.

But the guys at the top want that secure feeling of paying someone to CYA.   • Cisco 1841 and routing /29 address

    Could someone please explain in general terms how I'd configure a Cisco 1841 (2x ethernet ports) to route a public /29 address block (6 hosts) to my internal network. I wish to give the Cisco router one public IP and then several of my internal Windows servers will receive the other public IP addresses. Other hosts behind the router will access Internet via NAT. I'm a bit confused as I've only ever setup routers/firewalls that had a single public IP address with NAT and port forwarding to internal servers.

    The problem is only in FF on bigger screens than 17" ,sometimes bigger than 22" monitors . I don't know why this happens, usually the problem is reported on windows vista and windows 7.     I have a NFS Server: usanfsd01 And a remote machine: usafssd01 I tried mounting a directory from usafssd01 onto usanfsd01 by adding the following line to /etc/fstab as root usanfsdo1:/home/dblogs /home/data/dblogs nfs rw 0 0 And when I run the following command to see if NFS is exporting the share, it's not shown showmount -e usanfsdo1 Can someone please help? Also, a point of interest would be there is another mount that works on the same servers and thats defined as below in the /etc/fstab usanfsdo1:/home/files /home/data/files nfs rw 0 0 /etc/exports /nfs/home/dblogs 'IPADDRESS'(rw,no_root_squash)

  • backup aws ec2 to separate account

    I want to backup my AWS snapshots to a completely separate AWS account for additional security (if my AWS credentials were acquired someone could delete all my snapshots and volumes). But I'm a bit stumped on how to do this. There doesn't seem to be a way to store a volume or snapshot in S3 such that another user could access that data in s3 and store it in a separate AWS account. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to acheive this? Thanks

  • NK2 files doesn't keep the email addresses in memory

    When I send an email to someone outside the firm, when I only type the first letters of its name (Contact), I get the auto-suggest of the "Already-sent" users. So now, since a few days, the emails are not kept in memory by Outlook (NK2 file). I see that that file is only 2kb and on my old machine, it's almost 200kb (So a lot more email addresses kept in memory) Should I just rebuilt the Outlook profile or the whole Windows Profile? A simple Outlook reinstall or to build a new PC?

  • Intel 82865G Graphics Controller - making it work in Windows 7

    RE: Putting this out there in case someone else runs into this issue. The intel chipset is on-board. I discovered the reason for the crappy resolution in windows 7 was that the memory to share with the video card was set to 1MB in the BIOS.     Hi, I was wondering the steps I can take to change the localhost name to a test development domain name like "website.dev" on Win7 x64 ? Currently, when my test website builds its assigned to 127.0.0.1:81 but I want this to instead have a name like "website.dev" that is accessible on my local network ? [and sure any Virtual PCs built on this local PC] I think this is done via the hosts file but I am little unsure how to do this ? Would someone be able to assist ? Thx

I've heard that it can be achieved using "Profiles" in Catalyst Control Center - I've found something called "Presets" in the latest 11.x version but can't figure it out (settings not being stored and applied properly).     Did someone achieve to do negative regexp (or part of) with Squirm ? I tried negative lookahead things and ifthenelse regexps, but Squirm 1.26 fails to understand them. What i want to do is simply: * If the url begins by 'http://' and contains 'account', then rewrite/redirect to 301:https:// * It the url begins by 'https://' and does NOT contains 'account, then rewrite/redirect to 301:http:// So far, i do that using 2 lines of perl, but squirm redirectors would take less memory

    In this recent post about criticism regarding built-in DRM in Intels SandyBridge processors, Intel denies that there's any DRM in Sandybridge processors but goes on to say that Intel created Intel insider, an extra layer of content protection. Think of it as an armoured truck carrying the movie from the Internet to your display, it keeps the data safe from pirates, but still lets you enjoy your legally acquired movie in the best possible quality I'm confused now. So far I was thinking DRM is content protection. Can someone shed light on this?
