  • JQuery TableSorter with Pager and LightWindow problem

    Hi 2ALL... I've a tablesorter with attached pager plugin on my page with links 'Details' in the one of the cell. Links have a class='lightwindow' and after clicking is rising up a LightWindow script with a window. So it work's vell on the First Page .. when i click Next Page on SortTable.Pager and clickin on my link 'Details' it's doesnt work correctly, it looks like my links lost their class='lightwindow'. Any suggestions?

    A friend of mine wants to make her favicon visible when people user Google Reader to view the RSS of her Wordpress blog. Anyone have a quick tip on how / where to make that reference?   • Jquery Effect Onunload

    I would like to use the jquery slideUp effect when the user navigates away from the page just to make the page look cool as it closes. I assume that I should use the onunload event but how can I delay the page closing long enough for the effect to run to completion. One of the options that came to mind is effectively hijacking the page closing function, storing it in some variable and then executing it once I had run my effect but I have no idea how I would do that. Any suggestions or alternative ideas are more than welcome

  • Bug in XCode debugger?

    I am working on an iPhone app which is using an external library for which I have the source. During debugging some of the objects are listed as 0x0 in the debugger but the app runs fine. Also, some of the objects addresses point to the wrong thing. These symbols are in the external library. The addresses are fine if I am tracing through a file actually in the external library. Does anyone have suggestions how to stop this behavior?

  • MainMenu with Images (WinForms, C#)

    Hi All I have a MainMenu in my app and I would like to have little icons relevant to the Item in each menu. But the MainMenu control does not support this. I would use the MenuStrip control, though that is a pretty ugly option in my opinion. Does anybody have any suggestions? Are there any free/open source alt's out there, or would it be easy/possible to implement that feature into the existing MainMenu control? Thanks

    Looking to put together a 3D side-scrolling action platformer. Since this is my first time trying to put together a non-simple adventure game, I'm at a loss for which engine to consider. I would prefer one that supports scripting in python, since that's my primary language. Without tight controls, the game will suck... so speed is a priority. Cross-platform is also important to me.     I know how to do plugins, but how do I do nested options like: var defaults = { spacing:10, shorten_to:50, from_start:0, from_end:2, classes: { test:'testing' } }; i know that isn't right, i just dont know how to write the proper syntax when I want to do something like this: $('#breadcrumbs').breadcrumbs({classes{test:'new_example'},spacing:12}) other suggestions are welcome, im in need of the ability to custom class names and there are 7, so rather than making something like test_class, example_class, etc id like it cleaner and neater like the example above.

  • Open Source multi-touch API's?

    I'm looking for a good open source multi-touch API to use in a project we might get. So far I've found PyMT, but haven't really seen any comments on the maturity of that product, so any input in that regard would be much appreciated. I'd also like some other suggestions on API's that might be of interest, since googling have only given so much, and as with PyMT, it is quite difficult finding opinions on the frameworks out there.     Hi all, I seem to be having trouble reading preferences from my AppWidgetProvider class. My code works in an Activity, but it does not in an AppWidgetProvider. Here is the code I am using to read back a boolean: SharedPreferences settings = getSharedPreferences(PREFS_NAME, 0); boolean autoreplyon = settings.getBoolean("autoreplyon", false); However, I get the "The method getSharedPreferences(String, int) is undefined for the type widget" error (widget is the name of my AppWidgetProvider class).   • List MySQL enum in Java

    Is there a way to get all possible values from a MySQL enum column? The MySQL documentation says the MySQL enum type is returned as a Java String, so I basically would like a way to get all possible strings I can pass when querying a table with such an enum. I couldn't immediately find anything when I was looking through the metadata returned for such a column, but since enum isn't standard SQL, I'm not sure it's even possible... any suggestions?

  • Adobe Reader unable to open downloaded file in IE6

    I'm working on a web app that allows users to downloaded dynamically generated PDF files. This works fine in IE8 and Firefox but fails in IE6 with Adobe Reader giving the message "there was an error opening this document. this file cannot be found" If I save the file to disk first then it opens fine in Reader. I've given the file a simple short filename, without spaces so not sure what else to try. Any suggestions are very welcome.
