  Hi Everyone i m developing a website using .NET 3.5 with MVC 2.0. For server side validations i m using ComponentModel.DataAnnotations. these validations are reflected to client side by html helper's method Html.EnableClientValidation(). this scheme works fine for except that it triggers the validation on blur event of each form control whereas i want to have it triggered on form's submit event. any suggestions in this regard are highly appreciated regards

Most of the SDKs out there do much more than this and require expensive licensing which I don't want. I will be integrating this into a .NET windows application. One requirement, it needs to work with a Futronics FS80 which is a very popular fingerprint reader. Any suggestions?

  I'm using phpThumb - the PHP thumbnail generator. 'phpThumb.config.php': $PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['cache_maxage'] = 10; $PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['cache_maxsize'] = 1000; $PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['cache_maxfiles'] = 10; but it does nothing... I've got 108 MB in 922 files... and it keeps growing. Thanks for any suggestions.

  This is crazy, I have been trying for hours to get this to work. My client wants to be able to reset password for uses who have forgotten them The only parameter he has is the UserName. He does NOT want the user to be able to reset the password themselves, no that would be too easy...ARGHHHHH!! Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions how I could reset someones password or give them a new temp password somehow, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Steve

  Is there a way to cache widgets. For example if you place your widgets on high volume websites then each time when someone access that site, a call will be made to your server to get the widget code. This way my server can get too much overloaded just to display the widget . Can I cache the widget HTML code and place it on some server like Akamai. Any suggestions or tips highly appreciated.   I need to take an image and place it onto a new, generated white background in order for it to be converted into a downloadable desktop wallpaper. So the process would go: 1) Generate new, all white image with 1440x900 dimensions 2) Place existing image on top, centered 3) Save as single image In PIL, I see the ImageDraw object, but nothing indicates it can draw existing image data onto another image. However, there are times when I need to delete or modify some of the table rows. I expect to call reloadData after the row changes. Right now, dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier always returns the cached(obsolete) entry from before. How do I indicate that the cache is stale and needs to be purged ?

  I'm essentially looking to monitor a USB port input for whatever happens when the optical mouse detects its own movement and turns itself on. These mice usually have a dim red light when in "standby" mode and then the red light becomes brighter once you start moving it around. I want to use Visual Basic or something else native to the Windows environment to open an exe file or play a wav sound or call a bat file when the mouse "wakes up". Any suggestions or pushes in the right direction are appreciated.
