• MVC, can model save/load its data?

  Quick question, my data model is a singleton object and it contains a list of names I want archive. My idea is to make the model responsible for loading / saving this data. The ModelLoad will then be called by the ViewControllerviewDidLoad and the ModelSave by ViewControllerapplicationWillTerminate. I could do the load / save directly within the ViewController, but this would be messy as the list of names are on instance variable of the model. gary

  Hello there, I'm hoping someone could help me with a quick point in the right direction. ALL I NEED is the Outlook folder browser dialog call. I am developing some plugins for Outlook using C# and this is a crucial part for both plugins. Hopefully, it is like a standard DialogResult that passes back folder information (selected folder) so that I can use this info for further processing. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

  Let's say I have git repo like this: master webapp-1252 webapp-1285 webapp-1384 webapp-1433 webapp-1524 webapp-824 x_____jira_ x_webapp-11 x_webapp-11 x_webapp-11 z_____jira_ I've updated all of them and ready to push them all to svn or something. Then someone makes a quick change that would require me to basically go through all of them to merge etc. Is there a shortcut to go through all the branches I have here, merge them with whatever work that was fetched, then rebase them?

  im moving from a c# VS2008 world into the mac world and I just wanted to know how I can create a quick little command line based application so that I can write many little objective-c apps without worrying about creating an iPhone app or whatever. Which projects do I create in xcode? I can see the Command Line Tool under "Mac os x" but the only options for the type is "C", "C++", "Core Data", "Core Foundation", "Core Services" and "Foundation" but no simple objective c project? I have the following ruby code, which works fine. def add_zeros number, zeros number = number.to_s zeros_to_add = zeros - number.length zeros_to_add.times do number = "0#{number}" end number end But if I replace number = "0#{number}" With number.insert(0, "0") Then I get TypeError: can't modify frozen string, does anyone know why this is?

• Memory release from local variable in javascript

I don't want to use closures or global variables for various reasons.
