  • Call overidden method in Dojo

    In dojo, one cannot call a overidden superclass method outside of the same method in the derived class (for which there is this.inherited(), other than that one can call using class_name.function_name.apply). This feature is no longer there because of some refactoring and dojo guys are not going to put it back because they are not convinced about a good enough case for this. Please read this mail thread for details. Isn't there a good enough case for this functionality? Why or why not?

    I've seen questions to prefix zeros here in SO. But not the other way !! Can you guys suggest me how to remove the leading zeros in alphanumeric text. Are there any built-in APIs or do I need to write a method to trim the leading zero's? Example: 01234 converts to 1234 0001234a converts to 1234a 001234-a converts to 1234-a 101234 remains as 101234 2509398 remains as 2509398 123z remains as 123z 000002829839 converts to 2829839

    Hey Guys We have a nasty little problem. In short we can detect if a screen is connect when x11 boots (we do this by looking at the log - Xorg.0.log), but we are having trouble detect when are screen is disconnected while the machine is running (ie post x11 boot) Any one have any ideas? Cheers

I don't really mind how it's done - an image uploader in the metadata section when saving the actual document would be nice, but I can live with having to upload the image first and then associating it somehow with the document.     Hi guys, i wanted to make a double border but with no space in between and the double border should be of different color. I tried using image instead but i thought css could probably perform this job for me, i searched the net but hardly find anything close. What i wanted is total of 2px dotted border with top color of #a4a4a4 and bottom color of #474747. Any idea how i can do this instead of creating 2 divs?

  • Scala return type for tuple-functions

    Hello Guys, I want to make a scala function which returns a scala tuple. I can do a function like this: def foo = (1,"hello","world") and this will work fine, but now I want to tell the compiler what I expect to be returned from the function instead of using the built in type inference (after all, I have no idea what a (1,"hello","world") is) I thought I remembered the classname being something like Tuple3[Int,String,String] but that doesnt work for me. Suggestions? :D (ps: I love stack overflow!)

    Hey guys, Something really weird is happening: when I call foo(100*1.0f), somewhere along the line that becomes 0. To verify I put a breakpoint on foo(), and it indeed is zero and it indeed gets called with 100*1.0f. The code is in Obj-C++. Here is the calling function in XCode's GDB frontend, as you can see, score*scoreMultiplier is 100. And here is the called function in XCode's GDB frontend, here _score is 0.
