• Pointer and malloc issue

  I am fairly new to C and am getting stuck with arrays and pointers when they refer to strings. I can ask for input of 2 numbers (ints) and then return the one I want (first number or second number) without any issues. But when I request names and try to return them, the program crashes after I enter the first name and not sure why. In theory I am looking to reserve memory for the first name, and then expand it to include a second name. Can anyone explain why this breaks? • Solr adding document cycle & wait on response issue

  I am trying to send http post request to Solr for adding 50000 documents (all individual request one after another in while loop). I am using DefaultHttpClient in java to connect to Solr and when I use execute method on my HttpPost Solr takes 3 to 4 ms to response. I have commit=false, autoCommit=false, autoSoftCommit=false. My question is why it takes that much time to response and why cycle it follows to add new document. Basically I want to send add request but do not want to commit to see how many request can Solr handle without doing any kind of commits(without having to do any disk access). My guess is with above parameter tuned off I should be hitting Solr about 10000 times every second, but my result is 300 times a second. I am generating random data to add in my code.

  I've seen the other examples on this site but I just can't get it to work. I'm trying to generate a random number between 2 user input variables on a form. The numbers will always be positive numbers. min = document.getElementById('min').value; max = document.getElementById('max').value; waitTimer = Math.floor(Math.random() * (max - min + 1)) + min; When min = 5 / max = 10, waitTimer is sometimes returning results like 2, 4 and 28 and so on. What am I doing wrong?

• issue with keychain and updates from app store

  I am having a very frustrating error. I have tested for an app upgrade by first installing the previous version (1.0.1) and then running version (1.0.2). Everything worked fine. I submitted the app and then I am getting issues people are getting crashes when they upgrade. I tried doing the same thing, which is installing the 1.0.1 and then install the binary on the app store, then it crashed.   I think I may be a victim of type erasure but thought I'd check with others here first. I have the requirement to do something like this: public interface FooFactory { public <T extends Bar> Foo<T> createFoo( Class<T> clazz ); } It is perfectly valid to write this code. However, I'm trying to implement this functionality using a Spring BeanFactory and I can't do it. What I'd like to do is this... public class FooFactoryImpl implements BeanFactoryAware { private BeanFactory beanFactory; public <T extends Bar> Foo<T> createFoo( Class<T> clazz ) { return beanFactory.getBean( ????????? ); } public void setBeanFactory( BeanFactory beanFactory ) { this.beanFactory = beanFactory; } } As you can see, I've put in ???????? where I'd like to retrieve a bean of type Foo<T>, where T extends Bar. However, it is not possible to derive a Class object of type Foo<T> and so I assume what I'm trying to do is impossible?   I wonder why cellForRowAtIndexPath function is called when scrolling the UITableView. Does it mean on every scrolling cell configuration code runs again? • Parent/Child forms communication issue

  Hi, I am very new to Visual C++ programming, but I have to write simple program which needs to do two things: ( I am using MS Visual C++ ) main ( parent ) form should be displayed when program starts, and after clicking a button on it, second form should be shown. Second form ( child ) also has a button, but this one should ( after clicking, of course ) show current X,Y child form position but on ( important ): parent form. And this is where i got stuck. I can display child form with: a) adding #include "child.h" in parent form.h b) adding child ^child_form; in public: section and afterwards using: child_form = gcnew child(); child_form-Show(); I was googling for two days now and cannot find a way to get it the other way: click on a button on child_form and display it's coordinates on parent form on label-text :/ when i tried to add #include "child.h" in child_form I just got error saying: "there are to many include files..." I really need to get this done and I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance :)

I need to get only checked chekcbox id's thanks

  When a user's email is inputted into the forgot password form and submitted, I am receiving an error saying login can't be blank. I looked around devise.en.yml for this error message, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Why am I receiving this error message and why is that class being added there? I've tried: Adding my own passwords controller and adding new routes for my custom controller.   Hi there, I'm trying to get Netbeans PHP to let me write braces in a new line instead of the same line, I mean like this: if($something == TRUE) { // some code here } However, when I write if($something == TRUE) then hit enter, Netbeans places the cursor incorrectly in the new line, like this: if($something == TRUE) { // some code here } I've already changed the braces placement option to be "New Line", but this still doesn't work properly. My question - is such behavior something that should actually happen? How can I achieve absent attributes with null values using TagBuilder? I tried this in VS2013, MVC 5.
