The same C# code produces different output in Visio Professional and Premium

I have built a simple conversion Add In, but its behavior is unfortunately different with the different Visio Editions (Visio 2010 Professional and Visio 2010 Premium). The Add In takes a Process-Diagram created with Shapes from Stencil_1.vss and creates a new slightly different Process-Diagram with Shapes from Stencil_2.vsd. It loops through a Visio page and for each shape founded creates a new shapes from new master shape (from Stencil_2.vsd) and drop it into the new page. Geometry, captions etc. are the same, only the shape-appearance is changed. Below is the source diagram: When I run the code into Visio 2010 Professional the swimlane shapes are drawn correctly. When I run the same code from Visio Premium the swimlane appearance and layout are mismatched: Both times i drop the SAME Shape("Swimlane" from the same stencil) into the Page with the SAME Code fragment: Visio.Master vm = swimlane_stencil.Masters.get_ItemU(@"Swimlane"); Visio.Shape TargetShape = targetPage.Drop(vm, shape_x, shape_y); How could I ensure, that the code produces any time the same (correct) output? Must I disable any (premium)features in the swimlane-shapesheet?

Multiple left joins, how to output in php

I have 3 tables I need to join. The contracts table is the main table, the 'jobs' and 'companies' table are extra info that can be associated to the contracts table. so, since I want all entries from my 'contracts' table, and the 'jobs' and 'companies' data only if it exists, I wrote the query like this.... $sql = "SELECT * FROM contracts LEFT JOIN jobs ON contracts.job_id = jobs.id LEFT JOIN companies ON contracts.company_id = companies.id ORDER BY contracts.end_date"; Now how would I output this in PHP? PHP / Zend custom date input formats

Hi, I'm creating a library component for other developers on my team using PHP and Zend. This component needs to be able to take as input a date (string) and another string telling it the format of that date. Looking through the Zend documentation and examples, I thought I found the solution - $dateObject = Zend_Date('13.04.2006', array('date_format' => 'dd.MM.yyyy')); this line, however, throws an error - call to undefined function. So instead I tried this - $dt = Zend_Locale_Format::getDate('13.04.2006', array('date_format' => 'dd.MM.yyyy')); This gets the job done, but throws an error if a date that is entered isn't valid. The docs make it look like you can use the isDate() function to check validity - Zend_Date::isDate('13.04.2006', array('date_format' => 'dd.MM.yyyy')) but this line always returns false. So my questions - Am I going about this the right way? If not, is there a better way to handle this via Zend or straight PHP? If I do use Zend_Locale_Format::getDate(), do I need to worry about a locale being set elsewhere and changing the results of the call? I'm locked into PHP 5.2.6 on windows, btw... so 5.3+ functions & strptime() are out.

Updated to Android 2.2 and now my apps input-lines don't show well, do I need to update my SDK?

My Android app has a couple input-lines made to receive numbers, it's a calc app. I just updated my Nexus One to Android 2.2 and now my apps input-lines don't respond like the way they should. When I touch the input-line, the Android keyboard used to pop-up just enough to kind of 'lift' the input-line above the keyboard - into the users view. Then when I scrolled down to the next input-line, that input-line used to 'lift-up' into view also. Now, after I updated my N1 to Android 2.2 - the input-lines are not lifting into view all the way. Also, when I scroll down to the next input-line and type in numbers - they don't appear, but when I scroll left...there they are. It's hard to describe my problem but things have definitely changed in the way my apps input-lines respond since the 2.2 update I did. If I try to update my SDk stuff in Eclipse and then recompile my app, might that fix it? Whenever there's an Android update - developers don't always have to recompile all of their apps do they?

I'm trying to edit an Android Makefile in the hopes of getting it to print out the directory (path) location of one the ZIP files it creates. Neither it is throwing any error message. When I was selecting one option at a time (without mutiple = TRUE) then it was working (since I was using "=" operator). Reading input files in FORTRAN

Purpose: Create a program that takes two separate files, opens and reads them, assigns their contents to arrays, do some math with those arrays, create a new array with product numbers, print to a new file. Simple enough right? My input files have comment characters at the beginning. One trouble is, they are '#' which are comment characters for most plotting programs, but not FORTRAN. What is a simple way to tell the computer not to look at these characters? Since I have no previous FORTRAN experience, I am plowing through this with two test files. Change class of parent div if radio input checked

I've been searching and searching google for answers to my question but have been unsuccessful so far. I'm hoping one of you guys could give me some assistance. I have 10 divs with the class name "dividend" holding a table with the classname/id of "container" then two smaller tables inside that. Within the container table at the bottom is a hidden radio button with the name "page1". I wrote an onClcick for the container table so the user can select the whole table instead of the radio button, but not I'm trying to change the style of the selected container so the users know they have selected it. I have tried a few different methods and I'm able to change the style to the new class by just writing document.getElementById('container').className = 'selected'; But because all 10 divs share the same name it will only change the style of the first element it finds. So I tried writing this loop to check if there are any selected radios in the document then to change the else name the style as the default. I'm sure its something stupid but I'm pretty stumped atm.. Any help would be appreciated. Postgresql Output column from another table

i'm using Postgresql, my question is specifically about querying from a table that's in another table and i'm really having trouble with this one. In fact, i'm absolutely mentally blocked. I'll try to define the relations of the tables as much as I can. I have a table entry which is like this: Each of the entries has a group_id; when they are 'advanced' to the next stage, the old entries are marked is_active = false, and a new assignment is done, so C & D are advanced stages of A & B. I have another table (which acts as a record keeper) , in which the storage_log_id refers to, this is the storage_log table : But then I have another table, to really find out where the entries are actually stored - storage table : To define my problem properly. Each entry has a storage_log_id (but some doesn't have yet), and a storage_log has a storage_id to refer to the actual table and find the storage label. The sql query i'm trying to do should output this one: Where The actual storage label is shown instead of the log id. This is so far what i've done: select e.id, e.group_id, e.name, e.stage, s.label from operational.entry e, operational.storage_log sl, operational.storage s where e.storage_log_id = sl.id and sl.storage_id = s.id But this just returns 3 rows, showing only the ones that have the seed_storage_log_id set; I should be able to see even those without logs, and especially the active ones. adding e.is_active = true to the condition makes the results empty. So, yeah i'm stuck. Need help, Thanks guys!

View Source and Chrome Developer Tools showing different output

I have a page located here. Viewing it in Chrome and Firefox show a really small h1 title, and also it changes color as if it is a link. The template that generates everything looks exactly how it should be. When diagnosing the issue, the relevant section of code looks like this when I go to view source: <div class="page-heading"> <h1>Title Here</h1> </div> However, when I go to view it in Chrome's Developer tools, it is throwing in extraneous malformed anchor tags, which is obviously causing the hovering behavior. This is what it looks like to the dev tools: <div class="page-heading"> <h1> <a style="font-family: arial; font-size: 9px" <="" a="">Title Here</a> </h1> </div> In addition, when viewing a local copy of the site, the output shown in the dev tools is the same as viewing the source and they both render correctly locally. Oddly enough, all version of IE render it correctly. The current version of both Chrome and Firefox both render it weirdly. Initially I thought it may be a user agent stylesheet problem, but if anything the CSS is fine, it's the HTML that is malformed.

Works for Short Input, Fails for Long Input. How to Solve?

I've this program which finds substring in a string. It works for small inputs. But fails for long inputs. SDL (And Others) Virtual Key Input

Today I set up the input in my application for all the different keys. This works fine except for virtual keys, for example, caret or ampersand. Keys that normally need shift to be got at. Using SDL these virtual keys don't work. As in they do not register an event. if (event.type == SDL_KEYDOWN) { switch (event.key.keysym.sym) { case SDLK_CARET: Keys[KeyCodes::Caret] = KeyState::Down; break; case SDLK_UP: Keys[KeyCodes::Up] = KeyState::Down; break; default: break; } I am absolutely sure my system works with physical keys like Up. The program queries a keystate like so: if (Keys[KeyCode] == KeyState::Down) { lua_pushboolean(L, true); } else { lua_pushboolean(L, false); } KeyCode is passed in as an argument. So why are virtual keys, or keys that need shift to get at not working using SDL's KeyDown event type? Is more code needed to get to them? Or am I being stupid?

Corrupt output with an HttpModule

I have an HttpModule that looks at the query string for a parameter called "cmd" and executes one of a small set of predefined commands that display server stats in XML. For example, http://server01?cmd=globalstats. Arrays (toString) not output correctly

Hello, Actually this tread is continuing from the other one. There wasn't enough characters to continue there. Anyway. the problem is that the output is "1(10) 2(23) 3(29)". Even though I could return string for the array values (10,23,29) and used string reference as 1, 2 and 3. My question is it possible to return index values 1,2,3 and as well as array values. Am I making an sense. Is there any way to output the actual array in c++

So, I'm beginning C++, with a semi-adequate background of python. In python, you make a list/array like this: x = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] Then, to print the list, with the square brackets included, all you do is: print x That would display this: [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] How would I do the exact same thing in c++, print the brackets and the elements, in an elegant/clean fashion? NOTE I don't want just the elements of the array, I want the whole array, like this: {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9} When I use this code to try to print the array, this happens: input: #include <iostream> using namespace std; int main() { int anArray[9] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9}; cout << anArray << endl; } The output is where in memory the array is stored in (I think this is so, correct me if I'm wrong): 0x28fedc As a sidenote, I don't know how to create an array with many different data types, such as integers, strings, and so on, so if someone can enlighten me, that'd be great! Comparing C++ input with array values

Hey everyone, Over the last couple months I've still been slowly but surely trudging through C++, and I've run into a snag that I've been meaning to figure out. I've tried asking/reading/searching, but I could never find an appropriate answer. Maybe it is simply because the question is sort of difficult to ask. What I'm trying to do is at the end of my program, have the end sequence compare the input value with values within an Array. Do I have to loop a comparison sequence?
