  • Cannot hide a UIButton - Please help!

    Hey again, I have the following code: visitSite.hidden = YES; For some reason, when I click a UIButton and call this piece of code, the visitSite button does not hide. The code is within this block: -(IBAction)welcomeButtonPressed:(id)sender { [UIButton beginAnimations:@"welcomeAnimation" context:NULL]; [UIButton setAnimationDuration:1.5]; [UIButton SetAnimationDidStopSelector:@selector(nowHideThisSiteButton:finished:context:)]; [UIButton setAnimationTransition:UIViewAnimationTransitionCurlUp forView:self.view cache:YES]; ((UIView *)sender).hidden = YES; [UIButton commitAnimations]; } and the stop selector below: -(void)nowHideThisSiteButton:(NSString *)animationID finished:(BOOL *)finished context:(void *)context { visitSite.hidden = YES; } I've also tried [visitSite setHidden:YES]; and that fails as well. ALSO I've noticed that the setAnimationDidStopSelector does not get called at all. Also, visitSite (when NSLogged) equals: <UIButton: 0x1290f0; frame = (0 0; 320 460); opaque = NO; autoresize = RM+BM; layer = <CALayer: 0x1290f0>> visitSite.hidden (when NSLogged) equals: NULL Any more ideas? :(

    Hi All, I'm trying to work out a query that self join itself on a table using the eventnumber. I've never done a self join before. What i'm trying to query is when a client has started off in a city which is chester to see what city they moved to. But I dont want to be able to see if they started off in another city. I would also like be only see the move once (So i'd only like to see if they went from chester to london rather then chester to london to wales) The StartTimeDate is the same EndDateTime if they moved to another city. Data example as follows if they started off in the city chester :- clientid EventNumber City StartDateTime EndDateTime 1 1 Chester 10/03/2009 11/04/2010 13:00 1 1 Liverpool 11/04/2010 13:00 30/06/2010 16:00 1 1 Wales 30/07/2010 16:00 the result I would like to see is on the 2nd row - so it only shows me liverpool. I look for a solution wich should work for an unlimited number of subfolders: "home/{f1}/{f2}/.../{fn}"

  • Help with linq to sql compiled query

    Hi I am trying to use compiled query for one of my linq to sql queries. This query contains 5 to 6 joins. I was able to create the compiled query but the issue I am facing is my query needs to check if the key is within a collection of keys passed as input. But compiled queries do not allow passing of collection (since collection can have varying number of items hence not allowed). For instance input to the function is a collection of keys. Say: List<Guid> InputKeys List<SomeClass> output = null; var compiledQuery = CompiledQueries.Compile<DataContext, IQueryable<SomeClass>>( (context) => from a in context.GetTable<A>() where InputKeys.Contains(a.Key) select a); using(var dataContext = new DataContext()) { output = compiledQuery(dataContext).ToList(); } return output; Is there any work around or better way to do the above?

    I'm trying to use the bar_geom function of ggplot2, but I can't understand how to use it. I realize that I don't understand how ggplot2 functions as this small example does not work, yet my other example is generating a plot but I cannot specify a y-range as it considers the variables to be categorical.

    I have a question regarding an iPhone game I'm developing. At the moment, below is the code I'm using to currently I loop through my multidimensional array and position bricks accordingly on my scene. Instead of having multiple two dimensional arrays within my code as per the following (gameLevel1). Ideally, I'd like to read from a text file within my project and loop through the values in that instead. Please take into account that I'd like to have more than one level within my game (possibly 20) so my text file would have to have some sort of separator line item to determine what level I want to render.     I am running a Django instance locally and doing some Facebook development. So, I set up a port on a remote machine to forward to my local machine, so that Facebook can hit the web server, and have the requests forwarded to my local machine. Unfortunately, I'm getting the following error in my browser when I try and access the page: http://dev.thegreathive.com/ Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I think the problem is on my local machine, since if I kill the SSH tunnel, the error message changes.

    Hi, I have the following class: public class Item { public Dictionary<string, string> Data { get; set; } } and a list of it: List<Item> items; I need to filter and order this list dynamicly using SQL-Like strings. The catch is, that I need to order it by the Data dictionary. For example: Order By Data["lastname"] or Where Data["Name"].StartsWith("a"). I thought to use the dynamic linq library, but is there any way that my clients can write without the Data[]? For example: Name.StartsWith("abc") instead of Data["Name"].StartsWith("abc") ? Here's what I want to happen. When the Delete thing is clicked ($('.delete')), I want the <li> item it's contained within to be removed. I've tried using $('.delete').parent().parent().remove(); but in the case of having two items, that seems to delete both of them. I'm a bit confused by this. I also tried using closest() to find the closest li, but that didn't seem to work either. How should I best traverse the DOM in this case? Thanks! Jack

I am new to software development and have designed several Client/Server applications over the last 12 months or so, I am currently working on a project that involves a user logging in to gain access to the application and I am looking at the most efficient and "simple" method of storing the users permissions once logged in to the application which can be used throughout restricting access to certain tabs on the main form. I have created a static class called "User" detailed below: static class User { public static int _userID; public static string _moduleName; public static string _userName; public static object[] UserData(object[] _dataRow) { _userID = (int)_dataRow[0]; _userName = (string)_dataRow[1]; _moduleName = (string)_dataRow[2]; return _moduleName; } } When the user logs in and they have been authenticated, I wish to store the _moduleName objects in memory so I can control which tabs on the main form tab control they can access, for example; if the user has been assigned the following roles in the database: "Sales Ledger", "Purchase Ledger" they can only see the relevant tabs on the form, by way of using a Switch - Case block once the login form is hidden and the main form is instantiated.     I have a set of data that looks like this when using print_r($var): cbfunc({"query":{"count":"12","created":"2010-06-11T01:20:19Z","lang":"en-US"},"results":["\n 238.l.739089.t.4<\/team_key>\n 4<\/team_id>\n CHEE-HOO!!!<\/name> It looks like JSON to me, so I've tried to use json_decode but can't get it right. My goal is to print the xml data found in "results". Any helpful pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm very new to LINQ and struggling to find the answers. I have a simple SQL query. Select ID, COUNT(ID) as Selections, OptionName, SUM(Units) as Units FROM tbl_Results GROUP BY ID, OptionName. The results I got were: '1' '4' 'Approved' '40' '2' '1' 'Rejected' '19' '3' '2' 'Not Decided' '12' Due to having to encrypt all my data in the database I'm unable to do sums. Therefore I have now brought back the data and decrypt it in the application layer. Results would be: '1' 'Approved' '10' '3' 'Not Deceided' '6' '2' 'Rejected' '19' '1' 'Approved' '15' '1' 'Approved' '5' '3' 'Not Deceided' '6' '1' 'Approved' '10' using a simple class I have called back the above results, and put them in a list class. public class results { public int ID {get;set;} public string OptionName {get;set;} public int Unit {get;set;} } I almost have the LINQ query to bring back the results like the SQL query at the top var q = from r in Results group p.Unit by p.ID int g select new {ID = g.Key, Selections = g.Count(), Units = g.Sum()}; How do I ensure my LINQ query also give me the Option Name?     Hi, I have a Database (Sql-server) with table named 'ProcessData' and columns named 'Process_Name' (Data Type: nvarchar(50)), 'Start_At' (DataType: DateTime) and 'End_At' (Data Type: DateTime). I need to konw for each 'Time-Interval' (let's say 1 second) how many processes (Process_Name = PN) was open (after or equal to the 'Start_at' column and before or equal to the 'End_At' column) during this time (It can be a few rows with the same data).
