  Upon trying to run OpenLDAP on Windows after a non-eventful installation, I get the error that gssapi32.dll is missing. Reinstalling does nothing to alleviate the problem, nor does altering the install settings/backend.

  Microsoft Vista came with a free collaboration tool called Windows Meeting Space, which is not included in Windows 7 Enterprise nor can I find a stand alone link to download. Is there a similar tool included in Windows 7 that I'm missing or a replacement Microsoft product (perhaps Microsoft SharedView) that you would recommend? Ideally a tool that is compatabile with our existing Vista Windows Meeting Space users.

• HP DL380 reboot problems

  I have recently installed RHEL 5.3 on a HP DL 380 G5. Then I installed HP's PSP(Proliant Support Pack). Since then I cannot reboot the system anymore. The system just stays in "Broadcast message from root (tty0). The system is going for reboot NOW" Neither halt, poweroff, reboot nor init 6 works.

• Windows Update not updating

  I've enabled automatic updates but windows cannot update itself automatically, nor updating via Internet Explorer (by visiting http://www.windowsupdate.com/) works. I get this error message in event log: Unable to Connect: Windows is unable to connect to the automatic updates service and therefore cannot download and install updates according to the set schedule. Windows will continue to try to establish a connection. What could be wrong? A malware?

• Wireless Router will not allow connection

  I am working with a RangeMax(TM) Wireless Router WPN824 v2, and it will not allow a wireless connection nor a wired connection. I am at an actual lost, with no way into the router I cannot test settings. I have unplugged it, left it off for a 32 hours, and reset it with no luck. Any ideas? Could the router just be done-zo?

• Set up DNS or F5 VIP to send traffic to a specific port

  I have a clustered SQL instance set up at SERVER01\dev08 It's assigned to a static port of 1466. Can I set up something which will let users connect to SERVER01 and hit that port? If this is possible, what problems might it create (all traffic coming to this name hitting only one port)? It seems that DNS has nothing to do with ports - nor does the F5 big IP.

• How can I prevent static when PC is plugged into an amplified speaker system?

  I've plugged a computer into an amp, using a 1/8 inch male extension cord, into a female adapter, that adapts into a male microphone 1/4 end. That being said, the amp sits at about half volume all the time because there are other things that play on it. (This issue is not flexible, nor is changing the amp) The problem is that now, even when I mute out the computer, you hear some static in the background. I was wondering some about some solutions (preferably multiple).

  I used netstat to see what is happening with network connections, and I see this weird ip address somehow listed together with PID 4 "NT Kernel & System", whatever that might be. Netstat describes it as a "local address" and there is no "foreign address" involved (btw, what are local and foreign addresses anyway?) In the column to the right there is neither "listening" nor "established" record, so no record at all there.

• Cannot kill firefox in OSX 10.6

  I tried killing Firefox 3.5 from OSX command line using "kill -9 pid", and the process was still running mini-2:~ prompt$ ps -ef | grep firefox 501 15087 183 0 0:00.00 ?? 0:00.00 (firefox-bin) After this, I could not start firefox (as it said Firefox is already running) nor can I kill firefox (again). What is going on? How can I fix this (besides logging of or restarting my machine) ?

  Hi, I have Adobe's PDF creator installed and I'm using Microsoft Project 2007... I want to print my gantt chart as one giant single-page PDF. (Currently it's set to print on letter sized paper, and it's six pages in a 3x2 layout.) I can't figure out where or how to make those settings. The PDF page setup doesn't seem to be right, nor "page setup" in Project. Help :-)

• Why are emails sent from my applications being marked as spam?

  Hi. I have 2 web apps running on the same server. The first is www.nimikri.com and the other is www.hourjar.com. Both apps share the same IP address (75.127.100.175). My server is through a shared hosting company. I've been testing my apps, and at first all my emails were being delivered to me just fine. Then a few days ago every email from both apps got dumped into my spam box (in gmail and google apps). So far the apps have just been sending emails to me and nobody else, so I know people aren't manually flagging them as spam. I did a reverse DNS lookup for my IP and the results I got were these: 100.127.75.in-addr.arpa NS DNS2.GNAX.NET. 100.127.75.in-addr.arpa NS DNS1.GNAX.NET. Should the reverse DNS lookup point to nimikri.com and hourjar.com, or are they set up fine the way they are? I noticed in the email header these 2 lines: Received: from nimikri.nimikri.com From: Hour Jar <[email protected]> Would the different domain names be causing gmail to think this is spam?   I am setting up a mail server: Dovecot and Postfix with MySQL support and Postfixadmin. Spend literally all day trying to figure it out, but I'm still unable to neither send nor receive any emails. To my knowledge, I have configured everything correctly, so either there is another problem, or my knowledge isn't good enough.
