  • How to set title in the MFMailComposerViewController ?

    Hi All, I am trying to set the title of MFMailComposerViewController , which is a subclass of UINavigationController. I am using these following ways : MFMailComposeViewController *picker = [[MFMailComposeViewController alloc] init]; [picker.navigationController navigationItem].title = @"Send Mail"; [[picker navigationItem] setTitle:@"Send Mail"]; But I am not able to set the Title. Am i doing it wrong ?? Is there any other method to do so ?? Thanks

  • configure squid3 to set up a web proxy in ubuntu12.04

    I am in a LAN and have to use a proxy given to access the web in a very limited way. I can't even use google, github.com or SE sites. However I can use ssh to log into a server, which I have root access so basically I can do anything I want with it. So I was thinking that maybe I could use that server as a proxy so I can visit sites through it. I tested it using ssh -vT [email protected] which gave a proper response. And In my computer I can't do this. Also I tried downloading something from the gun.org using wget, which can't be done in my computer too. And it succeeded on that server. I don't know if that's enough to say that this server have full access to the Internet. But I assumed so and I installed squid3 on it. After trying some while, I failed to get it working. If so, how to configure the squid in the server so that I use it as a proxy to surf the Internet? My computer and the server both run Ubuntu11.04. Thanks for any help~

  • What ssh command would I use to set up "backwards listening"

    Machine A is behind a firewall. I have physical access to it, but I want to log into it remotely, and I do not have access to the firewall settings. Machine B is remote, and not behind any firewall. (It's my linode) Machine C is the mobile device I'm going to attempt to ssh into A from. Is there an ssh command that I can run from machine A that connects to machine B and stays open, that will allow me to log into A from C, via B? From the manual I'd guess it would be to run the follwing on A ssh -R *:9999:localhost:22 me@B and then run this on C ssh me@B -p 9999 but the previous command reports "Connection refused."

    I am trying to do local network and I am using these kind of types of network. 1) Main server which connects to internet with static IP 2) Second computer connected to first one locally with address like 192.168.0.2 - when I write this address to address line it is like i wrote localhost in original main server - so it should show my local web browser etc ... It has domain name this IP and connected router for it ... example www.domain.com so I added to my main server hosts file (linux powered) lines like these: 192.168.0.2 domain.com www.domain.com It was working ok when I entered my domain name in local computer it showed my site ... But after some time I added HTTPS cerfiticate and added this line to my apatche server: Redirect permanent / https://www.domain.com/ And now it does not work even when i add something like this to my hosts file: 192.168.0.2 https://www.domain.com So any idea how do do this thing work?     I'm creating a project to house an iPhone library for common code for the iPhone... essentially it's a library that'll save people from finding solutions to common problems that amount to copying and pasting snippets of code. The site is located here: http://code.google.com/p/devkit-bb/ I licensed it under Eclipse, because fosters the extension of the library without requiring constraints like LGPL on object files being provided/made available, which would be the case since everything is statically linked. What I'm wondering is how/what license to apply to the unit tests? Since they essentially demonstrate how to use various interfaces and components. Thus they're designed for potential copy and paste situations, and I don't want people who might end up using this as part of the building blocks of their environment to feel like the license would prohibit that "derivative work", ie. their application or game.

    How can I tell if my call to SendInput is working properly? I have a small snippet below, and the message never seems to get hit. SendInput() returns 1, and there's no errors, so I assume that the message is going out properly.   • How to set up RAID 1 on Dell PERC S300 With Existing OS Install

    We have a server that is being used in production, but it was not originally meant to. The main thing I want to add to it is a Dell PERC S300 RAID Card to have the main hard drive (Windows Server 2008 R2) mirrored on another hard drive. I can not initialize the disk and wipe the the OS to create the array and then re-install. Is there a way to create the array with a current hard drive, without affecting it, and just mirroring the drive? If that card is not an option, is there a card that would allow that? The server is a Dell PowerEdge T110 II.

Each interface is a gigabit interface, but the bond interface seems to end up at 100 Megabit: bonding: bond0: Warning: failed to get speed and duplex from eth1, assumed to be 100Mb/sec and Full. ... bnx2: eth0 NIC Link is Up, 1000 Mbps full duplex, receive & transmit flow control ON ... bonding: bond0: backup interface eth1 is now up ethtool apparently can't provide info on bond: sudo ethtool bond0 Settings for bond0: No data available So does this mean I am operating at 100 or 1000 Megabit (My guess is 1000)? If it is only 100, what options in the ifcfg scripts or the modprobe bonding options do I need to sett to make it 1000?

    I have a couple of projects in Django and alternate between one and another every now and then. All of them have a /media/ path, which is served by django.views.static.serve, and they all have a /media/css/base.css file. The problem is, whenever I run one project, the requests to base.css return an HTTP 304 (not modified), probably because the timestamp hasn't changed. But when I run the other project, the same 304 is returned, making the browser use the file cached by the previous project (and therefore, using the wrong stylesheet). Just for the record, here are the middleware classes: MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES = ( 'django.middleware.common.CommonMiddleware', 'django.contrib.sessions.middleware.SessionMiddleware', 'django.contrib.auth.middleware.AuthenticationMiddleware', 'django.middleware.transaction.TransactionMiddleware', ) I always use the default address http://localhost:8000. Is there another solution (other than using different ports - 8001, 8002, etc.)?

The exact requirements are: The code must be THE SAME in production and BETA location. To clarify, to promote any code (library or script) from BETA to production, the ONLY thing which needs to happen is literally issuing cp command from BETA to prod location - both the file name AND file contents must remain identical. BETA versions of scripts must call other BETA scripts and BETA libraries (if exist) or production libraries (if BETA libraries do not exist) The code paths must be the same between BETA and production with the exception of base directory (/usr/code/ vs /usr/code/beta/) I will present how we solved the problem as an answer to this question, but I'd like to know if there's a better way.

That said: When I change the entry in the /etc/init.d/tomcat6 to TOMCAT6_USER=root and then run sudo /etc/init.d/tomcat6 start I get [fail] and nothing is written to the logs under /var/log/tomcat6 and no entry for tomcat6 is created under /var/run How do I diagnose what is going wrong?

  • Set up router to vpn into proxy server

    I have a small network with a single LinkSys router connected to broadband in US via Comcast. I have a VPN proxy server account that I can use with a standard Windows connection, allowing me to have a geographic IP fingerprint in Europe, this is useful for a number of purposes. I want to setup a 2nd router that automatically connects via VPN to this proxy service, so any hardware that is connected to router 2 looks as though it is originating network requests in Europe, and any hardware connected to my main router has normal Comcast traffic (all requests are originating from USA). My 2nd router is a LinkSys WRT54G2, I'm having trouble getting this configured. Question, is what I'm trying to do even feasible? Should the WRT54G2 be able to do this with native functionality? Would flashing it with DD-WRT allow me to achieve my objectives? Any help/suggestions much appreciated. Neil

  • Bad http connection (400) from Simple Native Iphone App to test .net Web Service

    Dear all, I have written a simple hello world .net web service which will accept 2 parameters and return the parameters as a string. The web service is hosted by IIS on a windows xp pc. I am able to access the web service using safari on the iphone simulator, successfully tested the operation using HTTP POST by clicking the "invoke" button. However, when I use the native app on the iphone simulator, I keep getting a bad http connection error 400 on the IIS log. I have tested my native app with http://viium.com/WebService/HelloWorld.asmx and it works. I have already added Does anyone know what is wrong? Is it some settings that have not configured correctly? Now I am wondering if I can assign a default reminder pattern to all Exams events, for example: 2 Weeks before, 1 Week before, 2 Days before. The result should be that I don't have to specify each time the reminder pattern of an event in Exams when I create a New one. NOTE: If iCal can't do this, is it maybe possible do that through an automator action etc.?

    Hi I've got 8GB RAM on my laptop running Ubuntu 12.04. I added following record to /etc/fstab tmpfs /media/ramdisk tmpfs defaults,noatime,mode=1777 0 0 What exactly it means? I have tested that I can save 4GB to ram disk at most. Why exactly 4GB? Where did the computer get this number from? And what happens when I don't use that ram disk for a while and when the directory /media/ramdisk is empty? Does it mean that my system can use whole 8GB ram? And what happens when the system runs out of ram? Will the most rarely used things be moved to swap? And should I turn of swap if I think my system will never need it? Will turning off the swap make my computer faster? And can I even remove the swap partition? And will the hibernation work correctly then?

    I'm a new VS user. I've received some sample C++ projects working with a 3rd party API. They were saved in VS2012 format, but I have VS 2013. After conversion I find that there is an API specific macro defined in the project properties in the "Linker|General|Additional Library Directories" category. If I click on 'edit' I can replace the macro with an actual path, but how do I establish what the macro points to? In other words, how does one create a macro usable in multiple projects?

  • XP boot timer=> set, but does nothing?

I haven't made any hardware changes at all. Now, when the system boots it just sits there and waits for me to hit -enter-. I've searched all over for explanations & possible causes, but found nothing which seems to relate. Anyone here have any idea what may have caused the timer to simply quit working like that ? (BTW, the system clock works just as it ever did and keeps time precisely.) Thanks.
