  • Which system modelling notation for showing interconnections and internal logical structures?

    I am trying to model a collection of systems, their various interconnections, as well as their internal logical structures, as a message is passed through them, initiated by an actor. I have been using BPMN 2.0 notation with Yaoqiang Editor. However I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, or even using the right notation. System example Is this correct, if not, can you recommend an alternate notation or method of displaying the systems? Thanks for all suggestions

    Hello, I am using windows 7. i got a user on my computer a non-admin user, and i want to apply on him user policies from the Microsoft Management Console. i added group policy object editor, chose Non-admin group, set a setting, saved and close. but i when i logon to that user i applied to, it just won't effect! please tell me what i miss, thank you.

    Somehow, this works fine in the Maya/Python script editor, but fails when it's inside of my module code.     I am writing a game editor, and have a lot of different "tool" objects. They all inherit from BTool and have the same constructor. I would like to dynamically populate a toolbox at runtime with buttons that correspond to these tools, and when clicked have them create an instance of that tool and set it as the current tool. Is this possible, and if so will it be better/easier than creating those buttons by hand?

    Today I run this select 'exec sp_refreshview N''['+table_schema+'].['+table_name+']''' from information_schema.tables where table_type = 'view' This generates a lot of: exec sp_refreshview N'[SCHEMA].[TABLE]'. I then copy the result to the query editor window and run all those execs. How do I do this all at once? I would like to have a stored procedure called something like dev.RefreshAllViews which I can execute to do this...
