  • Best way to set default tint for UINavigationController

    I use a lot of UINavigationControllers in my app. I am using a UIColor to set the tintcolor of the navigationBar. This works as expected, but I am trying to find an easy way to set a default tintcolor for all UINavigationControllers. What is the best way to do this? Is it subclassing the UINavigationController, or is there something better? Thanks for the help.

  • Vagrant - Failed login, ssh not set up

    This question is two fold because somewhere in my attempts to solve the problem, I created a new one. First: I was trying to vagrant up using a Vagranfile based on the standard hashicorp/precise32 box. Everything worked up until default: SSH auth method: private key where it would eventually time out. Enabling gui in the Vagrantfile showed that the machine never actually logs in. I can use the standard user/pass and log in from that point but the vagrant up process still remains at that prior status. Here's where my understanding might be a little dim. I've tried setting auth method from the insecure_pass_key to my root ~/.ssh/id_rsa or whichever one I wanted to use. I'm not entirely sure where to put a copy of the public key or my authorized keys file. I've got a .vagrant.d folder in my user dir (I'm on OSX) which seems to contain the box images. I've got a .vagrant folder in my directory with the Vagrantfile which seems to contain the specific machine I am building off of. I've tried pouring over the docs and forums but I seem to be missing a key concept here. And Now: After a host of tips/tricks such as rolling back by VirtualBox install, uninstalling/reinstalling Vagrant and VritualBox several times, when I try to run vagrant ssh-config with a Vagrantfile based on the same hashicorp/precise32 it says that the box is not enabled for SSH. Specifically, this error: The provider for this Vagrant-managed machine is reporting that it is not yet ready for SSH. Depending on your provider this can carry different meanings. Make sure your machine is created and running and try again. Additionally, check the output of `vagrant status` to verify that the machine is in the state that you expect. If you continue to get this error message, please view the documentation for the provider you're using. So now I am slightly up a creek. Any help would be appreciated if not just clarifying a concept. Some pertinent info: I'm on OSX Maverics Due to the fact I'm running a dual HD system with system files on one HD and user files on another, my permissions are a little wonky and VBoxManage will only let me run commands via Sudo - not sure if it's pertinent - but maybe. I have no idea what I'm doing. That part is perhaps more important.

Is it possible to have the nested set loaded with these conditions?

  • Making JSP page not set the response content-type

    Is it possible to make JSP pages not set any content type on response? In my setup, JSP doesn't directly generate the response, but rather an intermediate presentation, which is then processed by additional Java code that creates HTML or JSON based on that. So, can I somehow make JSP not set content-type on the response and leave it to the intermediate code? If I just remove contentType="..." in a JSP, it still defaults to text/html.

    Where does Opera store cookies that are destroyed or expire after the browser is restarted? I'm looking for information on where these temporary cookies, with time expire (0), and that are deleted after a browser restart. I tested a file "cookies4.dat" using a hex editor and it doesn't have the temporary cookies stored inside. Does Opera create a temporary file for these cookies and delete them after restart? If that was so, where are they? Or does it store them in RAM?

    I have a java program that fires off an executable using the Runtime.exec() method. I'm using the variant that takes in a set of command line params as one argument, and some environment variables as another argument. The environment variable I'm tryign to set is path, so i'm passing in "PATH=C:\some\path". This does not work. Is there some trick to this or any alternatives. I am stuck to Java 1.4 unfortunately.

Category table; id name left right Products table; id categoryId name How can I retrieve the full path, containing all parent categories, of a product? I.e.: RootCategory > SubCategory 1 > SubCategory 2 > ... > SubCategory n > Product Say for example that I want to list all products from SubCategory1 and it's sub categories, and with each given Product I want the full tree path to that product - is this possible?     A friend of mine came to me with a french Windows XP where windows had decided that keyboard would now be english-US keyboard instead of french keyboard. After a few attempts, I came to the strange conclusion that it's impossible to change it. Whatever keyboard configuration I apply, the language dialog does not complain but sticks to the english-us keyboard. I tried : setting two keyboards, with FR as default setting two keyboards, with EN-US as default one keyboard as FR It's like it was impossible to apply a new keyboard configuration. Any idea what could be wrong ?

    I am trying to configure pppd to connect to a 3G network (Sprint, in this case) and then stay connected, reconnecting automatically if the remote connection is terminated. I have enabled the persist option.     I'm trying to set up a JCarousel instance witht the wrap set to circular, however, I noticed an issue where I "inspect element" in Chrome, duplicate elements are added to the html when the slides repeat (it can be viewed on the official example page). http://sorgalla.com/projects/jcarousel/examples/static_circular.html I know this is an open bug on GitHub.
