    I am not real familiar with fstab yet, so I have a couple questions. When I use this command to mount devices: sudo mount -t cifs -o username=admin //192.168.1.134/share_name /mnt/share_name With passwords: sudo="local user password" password="password for device" How do I translate that into an fstab entry? So far, I have tried this in the fstab and mounting fails: //192.168.1.134/share_name /mnt/share_name cifs default 0 0 This is where the question comes in. Where I have default, should there be something instead, indicating username=admin, etc?

    I have just started playing around with Git and would like to push a personal project to a newly created, private repo on Bitbucket using Aptana Studio 3. I tried to use the Git integration in Aptana but I couldn't figure out where to enter my username and password for Bitbucket anywhere. I tried using the Team > Share Project context menu but that keeps throwing the following message: Warning: Permanently added the RSA host key for IP address '207.223.240.181' to the list of known hosts. Permission denied (publickey). fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly I'm pretty sure that's because my repo is private. However, I couldn't find a provision to provide any form of credentials for linking to a private repo. Any ideas?

But I'm not able to find a documentation online for just two things: How can I set the stats property to be "awstats" instead of "Nothing"?     I am using ASP.NET Callbacks (that implements the ICallbackEventHandler) and in the handler, I try to set a value of the text box: txtName.text = "Test"; but this value is not set. Is this a limitation with callback? It appears I cannot do much in a callback handler other than sending back a string to the client side (ofcourse I can access the Session etc)

    For my application most of my SQL queries return a specified number of rows. I'd also like to get the maximum possible number of results i.e. how many rows would be returned if I wasn't setting a LIMIT. Is there a more efficient way to do this (using just SQL?) than returning all the results, getting the size of the result set and then splicing the set to return just the first N rows.

    Hi Im looking at buyign this MB: http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/ATOM/ICH9/X7SPE-HF-D525.cfm Im wondering though if the chipset will support the raid configuration I need. Im looking to configure the following arrays: raid array 1: 2 2TB Disks in Raid 0 raid array 2: 2 2TB Disks in Raid 0 raid array 3 (not actualy an array): 1 300GB Disk not in raid, to be used for OS and boot. So in total there would be 5 drives and the board supports 6. so im good when it comes to connections. However I have herd some chip sets only support one raid array (volume). so either all drives are individual, or are in the array. I must have 2 sperate raid arrays independent of each other, and a 5th drive not in any array. Anybody know if this setup will work? Thanks, -Stewart

    I am trying to think of an elegant way of getting a random subset from a set in F# Any thoughts on this? Perhaps this would work: say we have a set of 2x elements and we need to pick a subset of y elements. Then if we could generate an x sized bit random number that contains exactly y 2n powers we effectively have a random mask with y holes in it. We could keep generating new random numbers until we get the first one satisfying this constraint but is there a better way?

I want it to be simple, short and secure. export CMDLINE="$@" # What is in CMDLINE now? Escaped or not? sh -c "someprogram $CMDLINE" # Will it do what I mean? Ideally I want two bash subroutines: the first turns turns any Bash array into a [a-zA-Z0-9_]* string, the other turns it back to Bash array I can use.

I tried to login but it didn't work: ftp 127.0.0.1 Connected to 127.0.0.1 (127.0.0.1). 220 vsFTPd 2.3.5+ (ext.1) ready... Name (127.0.0.1:root): user1 331 Please specify the password. Password: 530 Permission denied. Login failed. Everything seems fine accept the permission denied thing. How can I fix this?

But I do have an application that I need to make sure always has the highest priority on my system as it is critical for the rest of the applications I am running.     I've got a WSS3 sharepoint site that requires windows authentication both in IIS and via the Sharepoint site. What I would like to do is in the case that a user does not provide valid AD credentials they are redirected to a custom error page. Currently, if the user immediately hits cancel when prompthey will see a plain text response of "401 UNAUTHORIZED". If they make an attempt and then hit cancel they instead see a blank page. I have looked into several options such as customErrors, httpModule interception (only saw examples for this after the user is authenticated), IIS Url rewrites (didn't see how this could help). Is there a good way to do this?
