• windows xp - shift key pops up a menu

  Helo all! A wierd shift-key problem, for which all I found was sticky keys answers First of all, I have all the sticky keys and related, Disabled. Every windows that is currently in focus, if I press the left shift-key alone, pops up the current window menu. I have no idea how and why this has happened, or how to disable it. I could not find any reference in google about it (perhaps my search-string was not good..) any help would be appriciated

• Loosing network cached passwords after a restart on Vista

  The passwords cached for Network shares on other computers and applications like MSN Live, MS Outlook, Sharepoint portal, Outlook Webmail, etc are lost when I reboot my computer, which runs on Vista. I always check the Remember password checkbox in applications/login dialogs where ever prompted. I cannot imagine of a third party program that may clean up this on system restart/shutdown. Any idea, as to what is going wrong?

  I have a proxy server which allows users to connect and authenticates them via user/pass but some of them are complaining about this method since not many of the available proxy software support that method so I wish to config my squid in such way that it allows members to connect via user/pass or based on their pc ip but I'm not sure if that could work.   I am trying to install Websphere 7 x64 on RHEL 6 x64. I am using Developer edition. When I try to execute ./install on the command prompt, it waits for few seconds and then returns to prompt without any error.   My Visual Studio 2008 freezes under some conditions. First, after a restart it is fine, but once it starts updating IntelliSense and counting down items it stops on the same number (the number slightly changed with further changes in the project). After that I get a sure freeze for: right-click in the code to get a context-menu changing from Debug to Release and vice versa quitting visual studio After a freeze I have to kill the process.   My exim4 don't send any message. The logs says 2011-03-09 15:59:57 1PxKrl-00038i-BT malware acl condition: clamd: ClamAV returned /var/spool/exim4/scan/1PxKrl-00038i-BT: lstat() failed: Permission denied. ERROR I supose that clamav (running clamd) does'nt have access rights on the mentioned file, but clamav is in the same group as Debian-exim (running exim4). Even changing the folder permissions to a+rwx has no effect. Any idea where to look for failure reason ?

  I have a pair of x25-M 160 Intel SSD's in an HP DL360 G5 with a p400i Smart Array running 512 BBWC. The disk performance I am getting on this box and another identical one does not come close to matching the same two drives running through a cheap 3ware RAID card. Any idea? I have played with the cache settings, but nothing allows me to get the same results. It seems like the Smart Array controller is the bottleneck.

  I am trying to add a new user to my Mac running Mac OS X 10.6.3. When I am in the Accounts screen, I don't see the user listed, but when I try to add it, I get the error message "Name is used by another user". This user name is not listed in /etc/passwd. • Wine + InstallShield can't find a locale challenged .msi file

  I am trying to install this cheap old Japanese game I've bought but I can't get past the Installer. The CD contains a File named D:\[Japanese Characters].msi and Installshield running under wine is unable to find it giving me error 1155. I have tried mounting the CD with iocharset=sjis as well as the default utf-8 and also running the installer with and without LANG=ja_JP.Shift-JIS, but it doesn't make a difference. Also the file really is in D:. Any idea?
