  I'm missing some fairly simple syntax I gather. I'm trying to rewrite an element label to something else and keep everything else intact. object htmlRule extends RewriteRule { override def transform(n: Node): Seq[Node] = n match { case Elem(prefix, "document", attribs, scope, child@_*) => Elem(prefix, "html", attribs, scope, child) case other => other } } Now, I ask for an explanation of two things: 1) What exactly does "child@_*" mean in plain English? 2) How can I capture the value of "child@_*" and just let it pass right through to the new element? Currently, I get the following error, which makes sense. [error] found : Seq[scala.xml.Node] [error] required: scala.xml.Node [error] Elem(prefix, "html", attribs, scope, child) I'm not wedded to this either, so if there's a better way to simply change the element name of a specific node, let's here it...   I am looking for way to setup FormPanel that labels will be aligned left on left side (this is default) and field aligned rigth on right side - they are aligned left... how long I am dealing with DisplayField, TextField, or NumberField adding ctCls: 'x-form-element-currency', where .x-form-element-currency { text-align: right; } do the work and is nicely aligned to right My problem start when I try to do this same with radiogroup element (I want to have Yes-No radio select) ctCls: what adding class to the correct (in my opinion) container abowe radiogroup does not make aligment... I am using Linq to sort the XDocument first, then attempting to loop through the nodes. I can't seem to find the correct foreach loop to achieve this. • Form Arrays support across browsers

  I'm not even sure if form arrays is the proper term, but it looks a bit like this: <input name='element[]' type='text' /> <input name='element[]' type='text' /> Which is then retrieved in PHP as an array stored in $_POST['element'] -- in this case with 2 values. I've tested it in the browsers I have available to me, but I've never seen this before and I'm wondering is this supported pretty much in all browsers? Or is this something very old that I've just not run into? Thanks!

  I have an array $rows where each element is a row of 15 tab-delimited values. I want to explode $rows into a 2D array $rowData where each row is an array element and each tab-delimited value is assigned to a different array element. I've tried these two methods without success. I know the first one has a coding error but I do not know how to correct it. • Fixing CSS positioning and scaling

  I was contemplating writing a UI toolkit where setting the position and size of an element/widget was intuitive and powerful. Here are some examples of how it would be used (not currently implemented): ui("Panel").size(". 40").pos("0 0").attach(element); ui("Textarea").size(". %-10").pos("0 40").attach(element); ui("Panel").size(". 10").pos("0 bottom+5"); Where . means auto, % means 100% and the possibility to add pixels to percentages. Does anything like said exist (even as a jQuery plugin or something)? Somethings just aren't possible with pure CSS.

• Selenium selected option in dropdown not displayed correctly

  I have the following issue with Selenium Webdriver. There are two dropdown menus on a page i am testing "brand" and "items". The options of "items" depend on which brand you choose. I am trying to iterate through all possible choices and print brand-item pairs. I use two possible ways to pick an option from each dropdown menu Using Select(): def retryingSelectOption(name,n): result=False attempts=0 while attempts<5: try: element=Select(driver.find_element_by_name(name)) element.select_by_index(n) print element.all_selected_options[0].text result=True break except StaleElementReferenceException: pass attempts+=1 return result And using .click(): def retryingClickOption(name,n): result=False attempts=0 while attempts<5: try: driver.find_element_by_name(name).find_elements_by_tag_name("option")[n].click() result=True break except StaleElementReferenceException: pass attempts+=1 return result My problem is that at ,what seem to me as random moments (sometimes it works sometimes it does not), even though the above functions return True and printing out the selected option shows me the correct answer, the browser still displays the previous option. So basically Selenium tells me i have picked the right option but the browser displays the previous one.No idea what is wrong.

• How to dynamically add a Javascript function (and invoke)

  Based on a click event on the page, via ajax I fetch a block of html and script, I am able to take the script element and append it to the head element, however WebKit based browsers are not treating it as script (ie. I cannot invoke a function declared in the appended script). Using the Chrome Developer Tools I can see that my script node is indeed there, but it shows up differently then a script block that is not added dynamically, a non-dynamic script has a text child element and I cannot figure out a way to duplicate this for the dynamic script. Any ideas or better ways to be doing this? The driving force is there is potentially a lot of html and script that would never be needed unless a user clicks on a particular tab, in which case the relevant content (and script) would be loaded.   I have an arrow on my site that I'd like if onclick, it hides one element, and shows another. Hitting it again, will hide the element that was shown and show the element that was hidden. Is that possible to do without jQuery? For example, I have <div id="arrow"><a href="#">?</a></div> <div id="ad"></div> <div id="description">Hidden</div> <div id="nav">Also Hidden</div> So at first, the ad is showing, and then one you've clicked the arrow, I'd like the ad to hide, and then unhide the description and nav.

I am planning to do something like this: 1. Find the right index where I should be putting this element using binary search 2. Create space for this element, by moving all the elements from that index down. 3. Put this element there. Is there any other better way?

  I have a sorted std::vector of relative small size ( from 5 to 20 elements ). I used std::vector since the data is continuous so I have speed because of cache. On a specific point I need to remove an element from this vector. I have now a doubt: which is the fastest way to remove this value between the 2 options below? setting that element to 0 and call sort to reorder: this has complexity but elements are on the same cache line. call erase that will copy ( or memcpy who knows?? ) all elements after it of 1 place ( I need to investigate the behind scense of erase ). Do you know which one is faster? I think that the same approach could be thought about inserting a new element without hitting the max capacity of the vector. Regards AFG

• jQuery - Drag of elements in areas - then not draggable any more

  Hello! I have three div areas. Creating an element, which is draggable() with jQuery UI, I can drag it all over the screen. Dropping it in a special area, then I can not drag it any more. I created a full working demo: http://jsbin.com/enusu4/2/ There you can create a draggable element which is placed into the left green area. Dragging it to the middle or right green area, I can not drag the element. I increment the zIndex of the elements, but it does not work. Does anyone can help me, what's wrong? Best Regards.

  Hi, My c++ program needs to maintain 2 list of objects. list inuse; list free; So objects A can even in 'inuse' list or in 'free' list, but not both. http://www.cplusplus.com/reference/stl/list/ I am think of using 'list' as the data structure for my lists. My questions are 1. why i can't randomly access an elmenet in the list, I look at the above api, I don't see a way to get inuse[2]; 2. How can I remove an element in the list? There is an erase(), but how can I use it to remove element #2? And after I remove element 2? will STL list fill the erased spot automatically? e.g. #3 will become #2, #4 will become #3 and so on? There are siblings next to this document.getElementById("row_1"); element for sure as I can see them, and they all have id attributes, so why is it not getting the id attributes of the siblings?? I don't get it. row_1 is a TR element, and I need to get the TR elements next to it within this table, but for some reason, it only gets the 1 element that I can already get using document.getElementById, arggg. • FLEX: how to ignore MouseEvents from the container ?

  hi, I've some objects on the canvas, and I added eventListeners to these objects for MOUSE_UP event. I'm know checking if it works by tracing e.target.name, and I found out that the event is triggered twice, before on the element container (Canvas) and then the element itself. • jQuery is only returning first item

  For some strange reason, whenever I have a selector and expect to get multiple items, jQuery is only returning the first item, instead of the entire collection. This is the HTML I have: <a id="reply-424880" class="reply" href="#" rel="nofollow">Reply</a> <a id="reply-424885" class="reply" href="#" rel="nofollow">Reply</a> And the selector: $('.reply').unbind('click').click(function(event) { ... } I have tried debugging using FireBug, and still get the same results. Using the work around I can get it to work: $('a').each(function (index, element) { if ($(element).attr('class') == 'reply') { $(this).unbind('click').click(function(event) { ... }); } }); I would like to use the built-in functionality instead of my work around. Any idea why only the first element would be returned?

  I'm writing a code for a voting machine that will allow user to read in custom XML ballots and then vote on them, however in the current build I have in QtCreator, I don't see an easy way to edit buttons in my GUI directly. In the code snippet below, I assign an element to pull out the names and type of ballot being read in, but I need to append a label on the GUI as well as change buttons to the names of candidates read in. • Chrome/IE table cell positioning help

  I am making a tiny script to make a HTML element editable. When you click on an element, it gets replaced with a textarea, and you can basically enter the new text. When you press enter, the textarea is replaced with the original element with its innerHTML updated. The demo of the script is here: http://iambot.net/demo/editable/ Now the problem is with the inline table editing. It works perfectly on FF 3.6, but on Chrome/Safari, once the value of a cell is updated, the position of the updated cell shifts to the right by the width of a cell.(Just try the demo in Chrome/Safari) It totally messes up the whole table. I am a beginner in CSS and not able to identify where exactly I'm going wrong. Any help/pointers appreciated! Thanks.

  I have seem a lot of videos in which developers changing CSS on the fly in chrome. I tried the same thing but chrome dod not allow me to change the code. I can't write on the style sheet. Is there any specific setting to do this? Kindly help. EDIT: To edit the css, I right clock on an element, select inspect element. It will open the console. I select the id of the element and go to style.css in resource and try to change the css. It do not allow me to write there.
