  • Remember login when connecting to another domain on Windows 2008 Sever

    I run Windows 2008 Server (x64) as a workstation and my computer is on one domain and my exchange server, shared folders and intranet is on another domain. Every time I connect to these eg. every time I open Outlook I am prompted to supply username and password in a "Connect to"-dialog and the "Remember password" option has no effect. What can I do to avoid this manual step every time?

    I am using a RHEL 5.5 on my PC. I was playing around with chmod and chown. suddenly my home folder become read-only. all the folders in /home/goutham/, where goutham is username, became read-only. I can delete files after turning on system for few seconds, after that it says Permission denied:read only file system. I cant even create folder with sudo mkdir also. Please help me. My os is on /dev/sda3

    I am facing a big problem since there are many msbuild.exe files in .Netframework and winsxs folders and I don't know if it is required to set all of them as trusted in the antivirus. The path changes server to server and hence it makes life harder! If it matters to you, I am using Kaspersky endpoint security 10.     I am installed a SVN server (v1.6) on a VPS contracted with CentOS 5, Apache 2.2 with WHM panel. I installed and configured all necessary modules and am able to create and access repositories via my web browser normally. The problem: I can not commit or import anything, always return permission errors: First error: Can not open file '/var/www/svn/test/db/txn-current-lock': Permission denied After fix the previous error: Can't open '/var/www/svn/test/db/tempfile.tmp': Permission denied And other... (and happends many others) Can't open file '/var/www/svn/test/db/txn-protorevs/0-1m.rev': Permission denied I've read and executed permissions on numerous tutorials regarding this errors, all without success. I've defined the owner as apache or nobody and different permissions for folders and files. I'm using TortoiseSVN to connect to the server. Some information that may find useful: I'm trying to perform commit through an external HTTP connection, like: svn commit http://example.com/svn/test SELinux is disabled. sestatus returns SELinux status: disabled Running the command to see the active processes of Apache, some processes are left with user/group "nobody". I tried changing the settings of Apache to not run with that user/group, but all my websites stopped working, returning this error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Flex apparently looks for folders that have underscore in front of their names inside the libraries on the project path, and transfers them to the bin directory. This often results in several megabytes of junk in my bin, and I want to change this behavior. Does anyone know how to do that?

    Running apache on rhel server and sometimes I need to delete some files that I can not using my FTP program, because the FTP account I am logged into is not the apache user. I am on a Mac and there must be a way to accomplish this via terminal by either SSH'ing into the server.     I am trying to experiment with GNUS email in Emacs, in Windows (EDIT: x64 bit). I've got it to work in Ubuntu, but struggling with it in Windows. From http://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_mono/emacs-gnutls.html#Help-For-Users I read in second paragraph: This is a little bit trickier on the W32 (Windows) platform, but if you have the GnuTLS DLLs (available from http://sourceforge.net/projects/ezwinports/files/ thanks to Eli Zaretskii) in the same directory as Emacs, you should be OK. I have downloaded and unzipped the gnutls-3.0.9-w32-bin package, but am not sure what to do with it. I have tried putting it in Program Files (x86), which is "the same directory as Emacs". I have tried putting it in the emacs-24.3 folder. I consider merging all the folders in between the two, but am hesitant as that seems a difficult troubleshoot attempt compared to my knowledge on these matters. I think Emacs needs to somehow see the gnutls binaries and/or dlls. My knowledge is limited on this. I've also struggled to understand PATHs for sometime now, and am not sure if that approach is relevant here. FYI, the emacs directory contains folders labeled bin, etc, info, leim, lisp and site-lisp. The gnutls directory contains folder labeled bin, include, lib and share. Hmm, now I'm finding lots of links on adding paths. Still, I'm skeptical that I would only add gnutls.exe path, as it seems the dlls are needed. Some additional data for Ramhound's first comment I have been attempting the (require 'gnutls) route.   • Browsing mapped network drives in Aptana Studio - Windows 7

    I've recently started using Windows 7 (64-bit) at work, but after installing Aptana like usual, and mapping my network folders like I always have, Aptana shows the mapped drives, but with a red X on the drive icon. Using the native windows explorer I can browse the drives fine, and I don't need to login. If it matters the mapped drives are hosted on both Windows and Linux servers. Any ideas on what to do? My googling is drawing blanks.
