  • Can I copy a cross compiler tool chain between systems (I did before)?

    I tested fairly extensively with Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 2 Server in a VM, and was able to simply copy (read tar x) a cross compiled tool chain from an Ubuntu 8.10 VM. I created the tar myself, which is essentially a lot of stuff in \usr\local. Now that I've got a bare metal installation of Ubuntu 10.04 proper, the copy isn't working. In particularly, I'm getting the error: $ arm-linux-gcc -bash: /usr/local/bin/arm-linux-gcc: No such file or directory I've got the systems side by side in SSH windows ... any suggestions?

    How can I go about redirecting my old URLs which would have been: http:// blah.com/some/post/name to the new URLs which would be: http:// blah.com/new/some/post/name Is this even possible? I don't want to simply redirect any requests for the blah.com domain to blah.com/new I want to make sure the subpath is still attached to the redirect

    I'm trying to use System.Drawing.RotateFlipType in my settings file. This screenshot summarizes my problem: Each of RotateFlipType values is doubled, and some are missing. If I try to use some of missing values (like Rotate180FlipX, through app.config) - it is simply ignored. Using VS2008 with SP1, vb.net with framework 3.5 on windows 7.

  • ASP.NET Master Page + pageLoad() = kills jquery?

    In my MasterPage, I have a ScriptManager that has a ScriptReference to my jquery.js file. This has always worked with no problems, all content pages that utilize jquery work fine. Recently, I added the following javascript script block at the end of my MasterPage: function pageLoad(sender, args) { } By simply adding the above pageLoad method, no jquery code is executed from any of my content pages. Why would just having a pageLoad in the Master Page have this effect? Thanks in advance for any insight.

    I simply have a string that looks something like this: "7,true,NA,false:67,false,NA,false:5,false,NA,false:5,false,NA,false" All I want to do is to count how many times the string "true" appears in that string. I'm feeling like the answer is something like String.CountAllTheTimesThisStringAppearsInThatString() but for some reason I just can't figure it out. Help?

I generally use CType (and CInt, CBool, CStr) for casts because it is less characters and was the first way of casting which I was exposed to, but I am aware of DirectCast and TryCast as well. Simply, are there any differences (effect of cast, performance, etc.) between DirectCast and CType? I understand the idea of TryCast.

  • Reading Excel Named Ranges by OLEDB hangs when the source file is open

    I am trying to read the Excel Named range using OLEDB using the below code "Select * from [MyNamedRange1]" everything works fine only when the source excel sheet is not opened if it is open then i am not able to read the range names using OLEDB it simply hangs Where as i am able to execute the query "Select * from [Sheet1$]" even if the workbook is open or closed... Any work arounds for reading the range by OLEDB only i dont want to go for interop... I have too many ranges defined in the excel file

    I have imported a GWT project from GIT , but when i run maven Install it says .m2\repository\commons-logging\commons-logging\1.1\commons-logging-1.1.jar; cannot read zip file entry and if i simply run my application , i get this \git\my-Search-Engine\qsse\war}: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/servlet/GuiceServletContextListener I tried to find out the way , one solution i found was to move the guice-servlet-3.0 from build path to \qsse\war\webinf\lib but if i do that i start gettin the exception ava.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/inject/Injector any idea how can i resolve this

  • Horizonatal Scrolling in FlowDocumentScrollViewer

    I have a flow document with images (created from drawings). I have provided a button for the user to enlarge the images (zoom) independently without zooming the text. Is there anyway, I can force the FlowDocumentScrollViewer to display a horizontal scrollbar for scrolling when the images are enlarged? Currently, the enlarged images are simply clipped off.   • Two collections and a for loop. (Urgent help needed) Checking an object variable against an inputted

    Hi there, I'm relatively new to java, I'm certain the error is trivial. But can't for the life of me spot it. I have an end of term exam on monday and currently trying to get to grips with past papers! Anyway heregoes, in another method (ALGO_1) I search over elements of and check the value H_NAME equals a value entered in the main. When I attempt to run the code I get a null pointer exception, also upon trying to print (with System.out.println etc) the H_NAME value after each for loop in the snippet I also get a null statement returned to me. I am fairly certain that the collection is simply not storing the data gathered up by the Scanner. But then again when I check the collection size with size() it is about the right size. Either way I'm pretty lost and would appreciate the help. Main questions I guess to ask are: from the readBackground method is the data.add in the wrong place? is the snippet simply structured wrongly? oh and another point when I use System.out.println to check the Background object values name, starttime, increment etc they print out fine.     I make regular use of forward class declarations and pointers to such classes. I now have a need to pass a function pointer through a number of layers. I would prefer to include the header that declares my function pointer's prototype only into the module that dereferences a function pointer rather than into each layer that simply passes along that pointer value.
