  hey folks, I try to realize a little game project to dive deeper into OO programming (winforms c++/cli). I already started coding but now I´d like to make a re-design. For the beginning the game should consist of four parts like game-engine, user interface, highscore and playground. • Help with regex pulling XML data from response body in PHP

  I am working on a project that pulls data from JMS queue using PHP and Zend Framework. The HTTP client response is below. All I need is the XML string. I came up with /(.*)<\/RequestDetails/gs which tests ok on http://gskinner.com/RegExr/ but the preg_match call is returning an empty matches array.   I am creating a web site which in which the service providers can create their schedule (date and time) at which they can provide service and client can book them. but the problem is that service providers are from different countries. so their is Time zone problem. please give me a best solution for it, that i should convert the time of service providers (while inserting schedule) to GMT in javascript (client side) or in my CS file (server side) how to manage all this.. plez give me a link of any such demo in which time zone are handled properly.... if i converts it at client side then problem is that may be client have set wrong time zone on his pc... and if i convert it at server side.. than how to manage .. how to show it to service providers their schedule and to clients accordingly.. please help me out.. i am using asp.net (VS 2005) and sql server.

  Our stock exchange going to implement FAST messaging in their system in order to reduced the bandwidth usage. We have already implement the FIX based application to trade with Stock exchange. In future we need implement FIX FAST in our application to communicate with them. I found that OPEN FAST is FAST based library. But I do not have any idea how to start with it.   Hi, I discovered a bug in my Rails app due to Rails app and gems upgrades and undocumented code from the previous developers. I have a lot of images that have been processed, but not sized correctly using attachment_fu. All of the images that were uploaded since the upgrade need to be resized correctly. Does anyone have any ideas to reprocess all of the images within the folders and resize them to the correct sizes? I'd hate to have to do these all manually. THANKS!! Cindy

The app is very simple, it's like a simplified version of the address book that came with the iphone a screen shows a list of all items in a list view list can be filtered through search list can also be favorites or unfavorites selecting an item will take the user to another screen with more detailed information (a pic, location,) the data should be stored in an xml file. • Page load fires twice on Firefox - PLEASE HELP !

  OK 1ST SOME BACKGROUND - I have a page showing the number of hits(or views) of any selected item. The hit counter procedure that is called at every page load i.e if (Request.QueryString.HasKeys()) { // get item id from icoming url e.g details.aspx?itemid=26 string itemid = Request.Params["itemid"]; if (!Page.IsPostBack) { countHit(itemid); } } THE PROBLEM - My expectation was that the counter would be increased by 1 on every page load but the counters on my datalist and formview are always behind and stepped by 2 i.e instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 its - 0, 2 , 4, 6 It seems that the page load is firing twice. Later I discovered that this only happens when you are using Mozilla Firefox. The page behaves fine with other browsers like IE This becoming quite frustrating. CAN ANY1 HELP :-(

  I'm running Apache on Windows XP via Xampplite, and could use help configuring my virtual directory. Here's what I'm hoping to do on my dev box: I want my source files to live outside of the xampp htdocs dir on my local machine I can access the project at http://myproject others on my local network can access the project at my.ip.address/myproject keep localhost pointing to the xampp's htdocs folder so I can easily add other projects. I've got 1 & 2 working by editing the windows hosts file, and adding a virtual directory in xampp's apache\conf\extra\httpd-vhosts.conf file. I don't immediately see how to do 3 without messing up 4.

I've been told that in another bool I have in the same app I shouldn't deallocate anything because everything clear out when the bool return true/false, but what happens on this void?

  I have a customer product page that literally lives beside the catalog/product/view.phtml page. It's basically identical to that page with a few small exceptions. It's basically a 'product of the day' type page so I can't combine it with the regular product page since I have to fetch the data from the DB and perform a load to get the product information $_product = Mage::getModel('catalog/product')->load($row['productid']); To make a long story short, everything works (including all children html blocks) with the singular exception of the related products. After the load I save the product into the registry with Mage::register('product', $_product); and then attempt to load the related products with: echo $this->getLayout()->createBlock('catalog/product_view')->setTemplate('catalog/product/list/related.phtml')->toHtml();` All of which give back the error: Fatal error: Call to a member function getSize() on a non-object in catalog/product/list/related.phtml on line 29`, and line 29 is <?php if($this->getItems()->getSize()): ?>`. Any help getting the relateds to load would be appreicated.

• Grails - Need to restrict fetched rows based on condition on join table

  Hi guys, I have these two domains Car and Driver which have many-to-many relationship. This association is defined in table tblCarsDrivers which has, not surprisingly, primary keys of both the tables BUT additionally also has a new boolean field deleted. Herein lies the problem. When I find/get query on domain Car, I am fetched all related drivers irrespective of their deleted status in tblCarsDrivers, which is expected. I need to put a clause/constraint to exclude the deleted drivers from the list of fetched records. PS: I tried using an association domain CarDriver in joinTable name but that seems not to work. Apparently it expects only table names, not maps. PPS: I know its unnatural to have any other fields besides the mapping keys in mapping table but this is how I got it and it cant be changed. Car domain is defined as such - class Car { Integer id String name static hasMany = [drivers:Driver] static mapping = { table 'tblCars' version false drivers joinTable:[name: 'tblCarsDrivers',column:'driverid',key:'carid'] } } Thanks!

I think i can remove the locks as the references should be updated correctly right? ... BUt i'm think whar happens if client code is iterating over the GetMyDataStructure method and it get replaced?   I'm using v1 of EF(.NET 3.5 SP1). I'm subscribing to the SavingChanges event of the ObjectContext wherein I audit deletes for a particular entity type. I need to get to the foreign keys of the entity being deleted i.e EntityKeys of the related entities (RelatedEnds) but the EntityKeys of the related entities are nulls. Is there any way to get to the foreign keys of an entity which has been marked for deletion? Does EF null out the EntityKeys of all RelatedEnds for an entity which has been marked for deletion? If so, is there a way I can get hold of the foreign keys?

• DotNetOpenAuth I need some help please

  I know this has been posted before, but never really answered, I'm using the DotNetOpenAuth to try and do GoogleID login, and every time I do details = OResponse.GetExtension<ClaimsResponse>(); I always, always, always get back null, I don't get whats the point of the GoogleID if I can't get back any information, I would think at the very least I would get an email address, so I could associate it other login information in my databse. I just don't understand could really use some help, Im probably just looking at openID in the wrong way. I'm using ASP.NET and looking to use openID/Facebook as my sole means of logging in users, I really don't want to mess with membership roles, or extra junk that ASP.NET likes to add.

  Hello, Many Zw* functions that work with files (such as ZwCreateFile) need to be called at PASSIVE_LEVEL with APCs enabled: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff566424%28VS.85%29.aspx. This is because, internally, I/O operations are asynchronously and the completion of an operation is delivered through an APC (correct me if I'm wrong). However, the documentation for similar functions from a mini-filter (such as FltCreateFile, FltReadFile, etc) does not specify that APCs should be enabled. Is it safe to call FltCreateFile/FltReadFile with APCs disabled? Thanks!

  Hi guys, Looking for a bit of help with taking a dat from a DatePicker Widget and storing it in an sqlite database within the app. I have the following code: java.util.Date utilDate = null; String y = Integer.toString(date.getDayOfMonth()) + "/" + (date.getMonth()+1) + "/" + Integer.toString(date.getYear()); SimpleDateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/MM/yyy"); utilDate = formatter.parse(y); java.sql.Date z = new java.sql.Date(utilDate.getDate()); x = z.toString(); Log.v("The date: ", x); } Where date is the DatePicker widget. If I output the utilDate variable (i.e. the Java version of date) using logCat it seems to work fine and gives me a format like: Tue Jan 04 00:00:00 GMT 2011 which I am expecting but using the code above to get the sql version of the date, it always gives me the date 1970-01-01. I'm pretty sure the solution is very simple but I just can't see it.
