  • Muslim Hadeeth Database / CHM to CSV or SQL

    I am looking here to create a Facebook App on Hadeeth. My first question is for muslim programmers here because other might not be having clue. Is it possible to find hadeeth in csv / sql (at least the popular ones like bukhari, muslim, tirmidhi) otherwise Do we have any tools or is it possible to convert CHM files into CSV or SQL ? I know that using a shotgun.rb file, I can pass options to Thin to get it to start in SSL mode, but I'm not exact sure how to pass these options. I'm thinking something like: Thin:Server::options[:ssl] = true Thin:Server::options[:ssl_cert_path] = /path/to/cert/ Restarting thin constantly is getting old, so I'd really like to be able to use shotgun in development.

    actually i m devloping a web application that provides facility to users upload the image as we see in orkut and facebook through a form and a upload button.but the actually problem I am facing is : 1.should i store the image in database using Large data objects ie BLOB and the problem arises of retrieving it back from the database and then displaying it on the form. 2.sholud i store the absolute path of the the image in database and provide it to the source tag of the image in the html form.

    So, for instance facebook's search bar has faint word that says "search", but when you click on the bar, it becomes blank and you may begin typing, when you click away the "search" goes back. Similarly, SO's ask a question title box has faint words that go away when you start typing. I'm not too sure what this effect is called, but I'm wondering if theres a jQuery plugin that helps to achieve this. This isn't particularly difficult to program, but I thought why reinvent the wheel if someone already made a plugin for it.

    I am accessing the facebook api and using the json.net library (newtonsoft.json.net) I declare a Jobject to parse the content and look for the specific elements and get their values. Everything works fine for the first few but then I get this unexplained nullexception error " (Object reference not set to an instance of an object) Now I took a look at the declaration but cannot see how to change it.
