    We need to reformat the SQL cluster disk in our SQL cluster. The drive contains the shared installation files for SQL as well as databases. My concern is how SQL/The Cluster will react to after we wipe the disk resource. Questions: Is there a defined procedure for this? How should we backup and restore the disk? After the reformat, how do we get the clustered SQL server back online? Thanks

From what limited research I've been able to complete, I have found that it is possible to access Derby databases over TCP, but I'm at a complete loss for this.     It's possible I am unable to resolve this because I have been spoiled in other DEV environments where I had one database server for each reporting server. I need some advise on how to point a single SQL Server reporting server to multiple database servers. These databases correspond to DEV, TEST and QA environments.   • Use Dropbox as Offsite Enterprise Backup

    For my small company, I'm using Tomahawk Backup as the enterprise offshore solution, as it covers files, databases and Exchange (brick level). The problem is the price... it costs more than 10x the price of Dropbox (and others) for the same space (120GB), and doesn't have de-duplication. So I'm wondering: assuming there is no problem with backing up files only (ie copying the exchange store file and the db files to the Dropbox folder), would Dropbox be suitable as the offsite backup solution?   • How do I completely uninstall mySQL on XP, including the root password?

    All I need is to be able to log in using root, but have forgotten the password. None of the steps to reset i found online work (i don't even have some of the executables mentioned such as mysql-nt.exe) However I have no problem deleting all databases (i have scripts) and intallations and starting completely from scratch... but uninstalling and deleting directories doesn't work.     Chrome (or any other webkit browser) throws a ton of these "Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL..." when working with the Facebook Open Graph API. It doesn't interfere with actual operation, but it does make the javascript console basically unusable. I'd like to know if there is a way to suppress warnings in the console? Or if there are other solutions you guys can think of, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

    In their recent changes, Facebook now links your likes and interests with community and fan pages. How can I retrieve this information using the old rest API and Facebooker. I tried things like this to get the music preferences : facebook_session.user.music but I get a blank string instead of the relevant connections. Is it mandatory to use the new Graph API in order to make this work?
