• the way to get a value from a hidden type correctly

  hey, in a html table i construct in each row an edit buttton like the following: retour.append("<input type=\"hidden\" id=\"id_"+nomTab+"_"+compteur+"\" value=\""+object.getIdDailyTimeSheet()+"\" name=\"hd_"+compteur+"\" />"); this is the hidden type then i do the following: retour.append("<button id=edit name=edit type=button onClick= editarow()>"); retour.append("<img src=edit.gif />"); retour.append("</button>"); retour.append("</td>"); here i am using the hidden type to differenciate between my rows with it. Now I am trying to get the parameter called here: value=\""+object.getIdDailyTimeSheet() in my servlet to do an update query based on the IdDailyTimeSheet. I didn't untill know find the way to get this value every time i click the edit button (i do its submit with the javascript). thanks for help.

• Having trouble getting GET variables from url.

  Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with this algorithm to extract the get variables from a url and print them each on a new line like: x=y z=hello etc. but instead it prints a seemingly random section of the url with no newlines to the file. • Python profiler and CPU seconds

  Hey, I'm totally behind this topic. Yesterday I was doing profiling using Python profiler module for some script I'm working on, and the unit for time spent was a 'CPU second'. Can anyone remind me with the definition of it? For example for some profiling I got: 200.750 CPU seconds. What does that supposed to mean? At other case and for time consuming process I got: -347.977 CPU seconds, a negative number! Is there anyway I can convert that time, to calendar time? Cheers,

• Jumping over a While loop in Debug mode

  Here is the scenario: I put a break point at the beginning of a method that I want to debug... at first lets say there is Part1 in this method that I want to step into/over some of the codes... good... after that there is a While loop that I am NOT interested to step into/over it, I just want to tell the debugger that Hey you yourself run this loop for 10 times and just let me move to Part2 of my code which starts after this While loop , is it possible to do this with debugging options? so something like this : BreakPoint : MyMethod { Part One of the code : Ok, lets debug it While Loop : I do not care, Do not want to debug it Part Two of the code: Yes, I want to debug it too }

I had increase my Virtual Memory, earlier on my pc. So my question is.. Is changing memory limit, effect or change application behavior? Is there anything that change the behavior of java application? bcz same application runs perfectly on my pc and same application does not running perfectly on client pc? and there is no problem in code, i have checked three times.

• How do I automatically reset a boolean when any method other is called in C#?

  Hey everyone, Using C#, I need to do some extra work if function A() was called right before function C(). If any other function was called in between A() and C() then I don't want to do that extra work. Any ideas that would require the least amount of code duplication? I'm trying to avoid adding lines like "flag = false;" into every function B1..BN. Here is a very basic example: bool flag = false; void A() { flag = true; } void B1() { ... } void B2() { ... } void C() { if (flag) { //do something } } The above example was just using a simple case but I'm open to using something other than booleans. The important thing is that I want to be able to set and reset a flag of sorts so that C() knows how to behave accordingly. Thank you for your help. If you require clarification I will edit my post.

• collapsing a UITableView

  Hey everyone I made a UITableView in my app and when a cell is touched it expands the problem I am having is it does not collapse no matter what I have tried, I'm sure its something easy i just cant figure it out the only time it does collapse is when it another cell is tapped. I need to write some other user controls based on this control so on every callback this user controls will be render on the client side. • Outputting audio stream into microphone

  Hey everyone. Is there a way of outputting audio from my program and redirecting that stream to the system's microphone input 'layer'? I understand this might require some low-level calls being 'Pinvoked', but are there any articles that might help me. For example, if I was to run the output audio stream of my application into Window's Sound Recorder program, it would think that the audio is coming from a microphone and thus record that. I don't want to record a stream, just output it to the device's micrphone input. Thanks for any ideas.

  I want to add an event handler to some dynamically added elements. I simplified my problem into the basic code below. I am using the new JQuery 1.7 on feature to say "hey for all labels in the CancelSurvey id element call this notify function when they are clicked." function notify(event) { console.log(event.data.name); } $('#CancelSurvey').on('click', 'label', { name: $(this).attr("id") }, notify); I want to pass the id of the label as parameter "name". When I try to alert this it is undefined (they are defined in the html created). I believe that using the $(this) is not referencing the label selector in this case. It actually seems to be referencing the document itself. Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

• Javascript is freezing the browser when running this code

  I am trying to get the value of a text input and check if there is any links in it and then take those links and make them into tags. But when I run this code, something is going wrong and it completely freezes the page. Basically, I want it to check for "http://" and if that exists, to keep on adding to the substr length until the end of the string/link.   hey guys, i've a problem with progress dialog on opening an activity (called activity 2 in example). The activity 2 has a lot of code to execute in this OnCreate event. final ProgressDialog myProgressDialog = ProgressDialog.show(MyApp.this,getString(R.string.lstAppWait), getString(R.string.lstAppLoading), true); new Thread() { public void run() { runOnUiThread(new Runnable() { @Override public void run() { showApps(); } }); myProgressDialog.dismiss(); } }.start(); The showApps function launch activity 2. if i execute this code on my button click event on activity 1, i see the progress, but she doesn't move and afeter i have a black screen during 2 or 3 seconds the time for android to show the activity. If i execute this code in the OnCreate of Activity2 and if i replace the showApps by the code on OnCreate, Activity1 freeze 2 seconds, i don't see the progress dialog, and freeze again 2 seconds on activity 2 before seeing the result. An idea ?

  Hey there, I have encountered the most weird problem ever in Java. When I am doing this: int []s = new int [5]; s[0] = 026; s[1] = 0011; s[2] = 1001; s[3] = 0026; s[4] = 1101; the numbers being stored in the array, seen from debug mode are different i.e. the numbers stored are 22,9,1001,22,1101. Can you give me some hints what might be wrong with this? Thanks in advance

  Hey all - I am a complete novice at C# (I've never used it before) and recently needed to look over some code written in it. I spent the longest time trying to track down a nonexistent method in a class that didn't seem to be defined anywhere in the class that was using it. I later found out it was an "extension method," which I gather is a method grafted onto another class by some source. I completely understand the rationale behind this language feature and actually think it's quite nice. However, as someone without much experience in the language, it makes it harder to look up unfamiliar methods, since the method in question could be defined anywhere. My question is this: given an unfamiliar method call in C#, what's the best way for me to look up more info on it, given that it could be an extension method defined in an entirely separate class?   Hey I wrote a LudoGame and now I like to test it with a little GuiceInjection^^ I have an Interface IDie for my die. Now for the game I only need an IDie instead of a realdie = in tests I simply give the LudoGame a MokeDie to set up the Numbers I like to roll. The IDie has only one method: roll() which returns a int. BUT the mokeDie now has another public method: sendNextNumber() (should be clear what this does^^) Now I like to @Inject a Die and if @UseMokeDie is before a Test I'll like to pass the MokeDie but I'm very new to Guice...
