• AppEngine BlobStore upload failing when request is programmatic

  I have an AppEngine application that uses the blobstore to store user-provided image data. When I upload images to that application from a form in Chrome it works fine. When I try to upload an image from an Android application it fails. Both methods work fine if I am running against the development server, but the Android upload doesn't work against the live service.   I have an application which performs 30 independent tasks simultaneously using multithreading, each task retrieves data over http, performs a calculation and returns a result to the ui thread. Can I use tpl to perform the same tasks? Does tpl create 30 new threads and spread them over all the available cores, or does it just split the tasks over the available cores and use one thread per core? Will there be a performance boost using tpl over multithreading in this case?

• Java HashSet<Integer> to int array

  I've got a HashSet with a bunch of (you guessed it) integers in it. I want to turn it into an array, but calling hashset.toArray(); returns an array of Object type. This is fine, but is there a better way to cast it to an array of int, other than iterating through every element manually? A method I want to pass it to void doSomething(int[] arr) Won't accept the Object[] array, even if I try casting it like doSomething((int[]) hashSet.toArray());

What would you guys return when a functional error occurred while processing the message because of the input message contains some functional errors, a 500 SOAP Fault or a 200 Soap response containing some error message ?

  I'm attempting to synchronously read from a CFReadStream objected created by CFStreamCreatePairWithSocketToHost. • Can I use cairoDevice in R under Windows?

Loading the package cairoDevice fails with the message "LoadLibrary failure" however the shared library "C:/Programme/R/R-2.10.1/library/cairoDevice/libs/cairoDevice.dll" is there. Any ideas how I can make cairo work on windows?

  STRAGG function implemention returns a result as a single column value. Implementation for Oracle seems pretty generic and can be consumed for different tables (and relationships). Could similar behavior be achieved for SQL Server. A search in the web, appears to return only hard coded implementations and not a generic one. Do we have any known solution for Sql server?
