  • Getting 404 when attempting to POST file to Google Cloud Storage from service account

    I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the proper syntax & formatting for a service account to send a POST Object to bucket request? I'm attempting it programmatically using the HttpComponents library. I manage to get a token from my GoogleCredential, but every time I construct the POST request, I get: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access denied.</Message><Detailsbucket-name</Details></Error The Google documentation that describes the request methods, mentions posting using html forms, but I'm hoping that wasn't suggesting the ONLY way to get the job done. I know that HttpComponents has a way to explicitly create form data by using UrlEncodedFormEntity, but it doesn't support multipart data. Which is why I went with using the MultipartEntity class. My code is below: MultipartEntity entity = new MultipartEntity( HttpMultipartMode.BROWSER_COMPATIBLE ); String token = credential.getAccessToken(); entity.addPart("Authorization", new StringBody("OAuth " + token)); String date = formatDate(new Date()); entity.addPart("Date", new StringBody(date)); entity.addPart("Content-Encoding", new StringBody("UTF-8")); entity.addPart("Content-Type", new StringBody("multipart/form-data")); entity.addPart("bucket", new StringBody(bucket)); entity.addPart("key", new StringBody("fileName")); entity.addPart("success_action_redirect", new StringBody("/storage")); File uploadFile = new File("pathToFile"); FileBody fileBody = new FileBody(uploadFile, "text/xml"); entity.addPart("file", fileBody); httppost.setEntity(entity); System.out.println("Posting URI = "+httppost.toString()); HttpResponse response = client.execute(httppost); HttpEntity resp_entity = response.getEntity(); As I mentioned, I am able to get an actual token, so I'm pretty sure the problem is in how I've formed the request as opposed to not being properly authenticated.   • how do i know how many clients are calling my WCF service function

    i am writing a program to test WCF service performance in high concurrency circumstance. On client side, i start many threads to call a WCF service function which returns a long list of data object. On server side, in that function called by my client, i need to know the number of clients calling the function. For doing that, i set a counter variable. In the beginning of the function, i add the counter by 1, but how can i decrease it after the funtion has returned the result? int clientCount=0; public DataObject[] GetData() { Interlocked.Increment(ref clientCount); List<DataObject> result = MockDb.GetData(); return result.ToArray(); Interlocked.Decrement(ref clientCount); //can't run to here... } i have seen a way in c++. Create a new class named counter. In the constructor of the counter class, increase the variable. And decrease it in the destructor. In the function, make a counter object so that its constructor will be called. And after the function returns, its destructor will be called. Like this: class counter { public: counter(){++clientCount; /* not simply like this, need to be atomic*/} ~counter(){--clientCount; /* not simply like this, need to be atomic*/} }; ... myfunction() { counter c; //do something return something; } In c# i think i can do so with the following codes, but not for sure. public class Service1 : IService1 { static int clientCount = 0; private class ClientCounter : IDisposable { public ClientCounter() { Interlocked.Increment(ref clientCount); } public void Dispose() { Interlocked.Decrement(ref clientCount); } } public DataObject[] GetData() { using (ClientCounter counter = new ClientCounter()) { List<DataObject> result = MockDb.GetData(); return result.ToArray(); } } } i write a counter class implement the IDisposable interface. And put my function codes into a using block. But it seems that it doesn't work so good. No matter how many threads i start, the clientCount variable is up to 3. Any advise would be appreciated.

    I have written a java application which is a RMI server. I need to start rmiregistry to run this application and i also want my apllication to start automatically when the system starts. I have converted my application into a windows servise. When i try to start my service it shows this error Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly Is it because my program throws an exception when my application is started before the rmiregistry is started.

    I'm using the Tapestry5 tapx template library to send an html email, as per this example. When I run the example I get the following error: Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: No service implements the interface org.springframework.context.ApplicationContext. at org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.internal.RegistryImpl.getService(RegistryImpl.java:560) at org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.internal.ObjectLocatorImpl.getService(ObjectLocatorImpl.java:44) All the tapestry-* jars, including tapestry-spring-5.1.05.jar are in my classpath. Any clues as to what I'm missing?

    I'm getting some problems trying Google Geocoding service when using special characters like "º" or letters with accents. Whenever I try something like: "barcelona, nº 10" I get 0 results. But trying: "barcelona n 10" I get results... I suspect is something related with encoding. I tried this: geocoder.geocode({'address': encodeURI( $('#direction').val() )}, function(){} ); But didn't help. Any Idea?

    I am fiddling around with JBOSS's Web Services, and I have created the following: http://127.0.0.1:8080/IM/TestService?wsdl Now I need to access Web Methods from that Web Service from JavaScript. Say I have a web method named foo in TestService, how do I make an ajax call to it? I tried accessing the method via http://127.0.0.1:8080/IM/TestService/foo, but I'm getting an HTTP Status 404.
