  • add text to the choice_label of ChoiceField in Django

    The ChoiceField creates a select html element and the options show the choice_label which is the _unicode_ of each model object. How can I change the text of the choice_label without modifying _unicode_ ? I have a Product model and I want to show in the options text the product name + price + link to edit. I've searched in fields.py and widgets.py but couldn't find what needed to be changed. Thanks

    Is it possible to disallow free text entry in the JQuery UI autocomplete widget? eg I only want the user to be allowed to select from the list of items that are presented in the autocomplete list, and dont want them to be able to write some random text.   • Block element text overflow problem in IE7

    I'm making a "sort elements" web game using jQuery, HTML & CSS. While everything works fine in FF, IE8, Opera, Chrome, I'm having problem with IE7 wrapping words inside block elements. Here's how it looks in IE7 (wrong): Link (cannot post images as a new user) In IE8 the box with wrapped text would just expand to fit it whole in one line without any overflows.   • getting the mime of text files

    I am using a piece of code someone pasted for C# which uses urlmon.dll. It reads in <= 256bytes and returns the mime based on the data. Problem is it cant distinguishes a css file from a text/plain. I can goto /style.css but when including it in my html the CSS does not show up. I am using urlmon + context.Response.TransmitFile to send it.

    Hi all I have a textbox in aspx page in which the user enters text. Now when user clicks on a button called "Sin" the textbox should show "Sin[]" and the cursor has to be placed in between brackets.Like as follows "Sin[<cursor here]" Now when the user clicks on some other button say "Cos" the textbox text should show "Sin[Cos[]]" and the cursor has be placed between the brackets of Cos as follows: "Sin[Cos[<cursor here]]". How is this handled. Any simple code please.. Thanks in advance

    Looking at the document, the goal is to select the second cell from the second row, in the first table. I've created the following expression: //row/td[2]/text()[td[@class="identifier"]/span[text()="identifier"]] but it does not return any rows. Unfortunately I do not see what's wrong. To me, it looks alright. The expression should: select the text in the second cell in any row where the text of a span equals to "identifier" and the span is located in cell with a "identifier" class I'd appreciate it if you could point out what I'm doing wrong.   • Highlight overlapping text in JQuery

    I've got this plain HTML: "Many things are in my room: a bed, a desk, and a computer." And these phrases: "things are" "are in my room" "room: a bed" In JQuery, is there some way to loop through the phrase list, and highlight the phrases as they appear in the text, and have the overlap delineated by color, or border, etc? I know there are simple highlighters but that won't do the trick. Maybe something with overlaying opacities? Thanks!
