    For smarty's html_options function, is there a way to avoid having to do this (other than not using smarty that is)? {if $smarty.post} {html_options name=option_1 optins=$options selected=$smarty.post.option_1} {else} {html_options name=option_1 optins=$options} {/if} I realize that it won't show up in the template, but it seems like a bad practice to leave something that is not defined in the template (it also fills up my error logs with noise about undefined indexes).

    Hi everybody, A ComboBox within a Form (modal dialog) does not open when clicked, however an item can be selected by using the up/down arrow keys. After clicking on another window and the back on the dialog, the ComboBox works as expected, i.e. expands on click. Weird... any ideas what could be causing this behavior? Preferrably this expansion should be controlled from the backing bean (no javascript wizardry) The whole tree has been generated at the time of initialization of the backing bean Is this possible? I have seen mentioning of TreeState, is that the way to go?

I have modified it to send email to myself every time an EBS snapshot is created or deleted.     I am very new to Javascript. I am running to a problem and don't know how to solve it. Could you please help? Basically, I want to create some textboxes and checkboxes in a form. Then I have to validate those fields, and add the values of the checkboxes if they are selected. One of the textboxes asking for how many semesters attended, and 3 checkboxes with value of 100, 1000, and 750. Whichever checkbox is selected, it should multiply its value to the number of semesters attended. For example if the first two checkboxes are selected then totalCost = (100+1000)* semester.   • Problem on Last node of the treeview

    im using Treeview in my master page...and every node except last node get selected if i click on it and can be redirect to respond treenode page...but when i click last node of the treeview the selectednode changed event doesnt fired it just stop page load event itself(breakpoint)..... how can i solve this problem?
