  • Funnel Visualisation not showing drop out in steps

    I have a site where users will follow this path (hopefully): mysite.com/entity mysite.com/entity/pay mysite.com/entity/pay/details mysite.com/entity/pay/confirmation mysite.com/entity/pay/payment mysite.com/entity/paymentsuccessful?lotsofuniquestuff The entity section could be any one of a multitude of entries, but once the user is on a journey it will stay consistent. I have a goal set up for this as a regular expression, with the match being .*PaymentSuccessful.*. This detects goal successes perfectly (as checked with data stored by the site directly). I have set the following steps within the goal: /[a-zA-Z0-9]+/pay /[a-zA-Z0-9]+/pay/details /[a-zA-Z0-9]+/pay/confirmation /[a-zA-Z0-9]+/pay/payment My funnel detects entry into the funnel (e.g. 47 users) of which say 10 complete the funnel. However, all drop offs are after the first step, even though the exist page is listed as the second step! My data also suggests users are getting further in the funnel before failing to reach the goal. What have I done wrong?

  • Gnome 3 not displaying thumbnails?

    I'm running 12.04 LTS and I can't seem to see any thumbnails for pictures, videos, anything. I have checked my preferences "Show Thumbnails, Always, files under 10MB, Local Only" which makes sense but still, no thumbails. I was having problems with Unity 3D and my nvidia card and I entered a force_unity_start code somewhere. Now I got gnome 3 working (turns out i just had to turn zoom off) I'm still having this problem. please advise if you need any more information to help me with this!

  • 1080p on TV not working

    I am trying to connect my laptop (Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook) to my TV (Toshiba WLT66/67 Series) and get it to output to the TV at 1080i (so basically 1920x1080) through HDMI The issue I have is that in 'Displays' the highest resolution that it gives the monitor is 1280x768, however I know that the TV can output at 1920x1080 at 30Hz as when I use Windows 7 it allows me to do this. I looked around and found that I could use xrandr to try and get his resolution, however when I do: cvt 1920 1080 30 # 1920x1080 29.95 Hz (CVT) hsync: 33.01 kHz; pclk: 79.75 MHz Modeline "1920x1080_30.00" 79.75 1920 1976 2168 2416 1080 1083 1088 1102 -hsync +vsync xrandr --newmode "1920x1080_30.00" 79.75 1920 1976 2168 2416 1080 1083 1088 1102 -hsync +vsync xrandr --addmode HDMI1 1920x1080_30.00 xrandr --output HDMI1 --mode 1920x1080_30.00 My TV screen just remains blank :( Any help?     disclaimer: for simplicity sake, brackets will refer to brackets, braces, quotes, and parentheses in the couse of this question. Carry on. When writing code, I usually type the beginning and end element first, and then go back and type the inner stuff. This gets to be a lot of backspacing, especially when doing something with many nested elements like: jQuery(function($){$('#element[input="file"]').hover(function(){$(this).fadeOut();})); Is there a more efficient way of remembering how many brackets you've got open ? Or a second example with quotes: <?php echo '<input value="'.$_POST['name'].'" />"; ?>

  • Bluetooth automatic mouse connection not working

    I'd like my HP Bluetooth Mouse x4000b (no usb dongle) to connect automatically when starting my HP laptop (Ubuntu 14.04), but I can't succeed in it : I'm forced to do it manually by clicking the "connect" button. I know this topic has been answered many times, but no solution worked for me. Here's what I tried so far : Creating the file /etc/default/bluetooth with lines : HIDD_ENABLED=1 HIDD_OPTIONS="--connect F0:65:DD:7D:EC:A0 --server" Putting hciconfig hci0 reset at the end of /etc/init.d/bluetooth Putting /etc/init.d/bluetooth stop sleep 1 /etc/init.d/bluetooth start in /etc/rc.local None of these solution worked, I've read a lot of topics but couldn't find a solution ... that's why I'm asking that here, hoping you can help me troubleshooting that.   • Wifi very slow on Ubuntu 12.04 but not on Win7, need help

    I have an enormous problem: I've a Sony Vaio VGN-NR21S with win7 and Ubuntu 12.04 in dual boot. With Windows everything is fine (except that is windows) but with Ubuntu the wireless connection is awfully slow, basically unusable. I've already search for similar discussion but the solution proposed didn't worked. I've noticed this issue also in live mode both with ubuntu and linux mint. I've installed Ubuntu onto an Acer that shows the same problem when connected via wifi to my router, so I think that maybe the issue is about compatibility with my home router. I really need help, I don't want unistall ubuntu! Please tell me which output u need to help me, thanks.

  • Dual Screens not working nVidia

    So I'm very much an Ubuntu noob, in fact I just install Ubuntu to my P.C. and I started it up with both my screens plugged into my nVidia's dvi and vga ports and logged in, change the skin to classic gnome, because that's how it was when I last used Ubuntu (8.1), and both screens were working separately. The trouble is that I got a notification saying there was nVidia drivers to be installed, so I install them and restart my P.C., as it told me to, and when I get back on only one of my screens is working and when I go into Displays (All Settings, Displays) it doesn't register my other screen at all, and it calls my working screen "Laptop". I've tried looking through several pages of Google but I see no answer. I did try to find the nvidia-settings to see if that had the answers but sadly I couldn't locate it. Thanks in advance for any help, but please remember, I am very new to Ubuntu.

    I can't connect to my WIFI after installing Ubuntu 13.10. I tried re-installing it three times (thinking that I did something wrong during the installation) but I still can't connect to my WIFI. It just gives me the message that I'm offline and that I can't connect to my WIFI. I also tried connecting to the internet using LAN cable but with the same results. I tried google but it seems that there's no solution to this yet.... Anybody knows how to solve this? Thanks!   • Binfmt config not persisting after booting

    I have the binfmt kernel module set up so I can run .NET apps as if they were native binaries. I have the /etc/rc.local file configured identically to this. If I power down my computer or boot into Windows, when I come back to Ubuntu, I can't run .NET apps without calling Mono. However, if I simply touch /etc/rc.local and restart, the binfmt configuration appears to kick in and I can run my .NET EXE's as I expect to. How do I get my configuration to stick?

  • xdebug 2.2.1 installed but not working with cgi

    I've installed (via pecl) xdebug. It is installed (as phpinfo() output indicates), but it doesn't seems to work with CGI (with CLI it works). I've restarted apache, without result. Any ideas?   • How do I not show files on the main screen

    Ok, so I upgraded to 12.10 and have been trying out Unity, my screen has become a complete mess of folders and files. "Back in the day" the folders that were on my screen were the ones shown in the .Desktop directory now it seems like all the files in my login directory are there (that is a lot of files) Is there some way to set the files being diplayed to come from a specific directory? if so how? I think I've gone through every panel of the system settings application.

  • All traffic is passed through OpenVPN although not requested

    I have a bash script on a Ubuntu box which searches for the fastest openvpn server, connects, and binds one program to the tun0 interface. Unfortunately, all traffic is being passed through the VPN. Does anybody know what's going on? The relevant line follows: openvpn --daemon --config $cfile --auth-user-pass ipvanish.pass --status openvpn-status.log There don't seem to be any entries in iptables when I enter sudo iptables --list.     I got into Minecraft 2 months ago and just today I switched to Ubuntu. I downloaded Java from the special script (http://www.duinsoft.nl/packages.php?t=en) and after I verified it said it was installed. So I downloaded the Minecraft.jar file and ran it through the Java runtime. It updated like the launcher should... ... And it froze. Went black, didn't even get to the Mojang screen. Please help me! Minecraft is my favorite game and I can't stand to lose it.

  • AdWords traffic not (properly) reflected in Analytics

    I have an AdWords account, which was set to use Auto-tagging of URLs. When looking at the Analytics account for that site, I couldn't find any reference to AdWords traffic either in the Advertising section or the Traffic Sources section. So I manually constructed the URL tags, and updated the Campaign Ad. Once the ad was approved and the clicks started coming through again, I could see the results in the Traffic Sources section of Analytics. In the Sources Campaigns section, my campaign was listed, and under Sources All Traffic, it was registering the same level of traffic from google/adwords. However, the Advertising AdWords section is still drawing a blank. Any ideas? Are there explicit steps needed to enable full tracking of AdWords campaigns? If it is relevant, the Adwords campaign was set up with one account, and the Analytics tracking with another, but both accounts have full access to both AdWords and Analytics.

    When i install ubuntu, and the computer restarts it doesn't show the boot managaer so it always boots in windows 7. I tried to change the default os, and ubuntu wasn't even listed in it. Then I read a how to on it, it showed how to size the partions and make them correctly, but it still didn't work. I tried easyBCD and still no success. I've tried installing it about 4-5 times and i still can't get it. What can i do to fix it?

    I'm running Linux Mint 13 MATE 64-bit. Everything has been working for several weeks. Yesterday, when I tried to boot up my computer, after the BIOS screen flashes I reach a screen with a black background that reads at the top: GNU GRUB version1.99-21ubuntu3.4 Then there is a box in which I can select from the following lines: Linux Mint 13 MATE 64-bit, 3.2.0-31-generic (/dev/sdb2) Linux Mint 13 MATE 64-bit, 3.2.0-31-generic (/dev/sdb2) -- recovery mode Previous Linux versions Memory test (memtest86+) Memory test (memtest86+, serial console 115200) At the bottom it reads: Use the ? and ? keys to select which entry is highlighed. Press enter to boot the selected OS, 'e' to edit the commands before booting or 'c' for a command-line. I have no idea why it started doing this and, worse, I have no idea how to get out of here. No matter which option I select, I can't get it to boot the OS. If I select either of the first two, it reboots to splash the BIOS and then I'm right back where I started. If I choose "Previous Linux versions" I get essentially the same screen with only two choices (which are the same as the first two choices listed above, Linux 13 MATE and the recovery mode). Again, choosing either one of those results in a reboot. If I try to run either of the memtest options, it reads: error: unknown command 'linux16', Press any key to continue...   • Notebook display not working properly

    I have an old Acer TM4001 notebook. If the laptop is powered-off, with the lid closed, when I power it on, it generally works. Then, without touching anything, if I reboot the computer the internal display wil not work anymore. To make it working again I need to shut down the pc, close and reopen the lid and then turn it on. If I close and reopen the lid if it is not working after power the pc on, it won't work. When the screen is working, closing and opening it has no effect (the data cable seems ok). The external monitor always works as expected: If the internal display is not detected, the external will be the main (and only) display. This is not OS-related. When the screen is not working I cannot see the POST. What could be the cause for this?
