• Overriding disabled input and textarea with CSS

  Hi, Im trying to override the grey text of a disabled input and textarea. At the moment Im only really concerned with it working in Webkit and Mozilla. At the moment Im currently using every trick in the book that I know of: input[@disabled=true], input[@disabled], button[disabled]:active, button[disabled], input[type="reset"][disabled]:active, input[type="reset"][disabled], input[type="button"][disabled]:active, input[type="button"][disabled], select[disabled] > input[type="button"], select[disabled] > input[type="button"]:active, input[type="submit"][disabled]:active, input[type="submit"][disabled],input[disabled="disabled"], input[disabled] { color: black !important; } Sure it does change the colour if I change it to something else, however when I choose black it is still greyed out a bit. Any ideas? I am using Ext JS if I can use that to manipulate it. Thanks.

• What is the best way to migrate documents into Sharepoint (MOSS) 2007?

  I'm working with a customer that needs to migrate documents from their current document management system (not Sharepoint) into Sharepoint MOSS 2007 retaining document history and metadata. I've written a proof of concept using the Sharepoint web services and that looks promising, but the snag so far seems to be programmatically setting the created date/time and user. The webservices allow the fields to be set but implicitly override them to be the currently logged in user + date/time. For obvious reasons, I need to be able to keep the original created date/time and user on migration. Does anyone know the best way to approach this problem?

• How do you use Java 1.6 Annotation Processing to perform compile time weaving?

  I have created an annotation, applied it to a DTO and written a Java 1.6 style annotationProcessor. I can see how to have the annotationProcessor write a new source file, which isn't what I want to do, I cannot see or find out how to have it modify the existing class (ideally just modify the byte code). The modification is actually fairly trivial, all I want the processor to do is to insert a new getter and setter where the name comes from the value of the annotation being processed. • Dynamic classloading fails on runtime

But when I try to run it, something weird happens; a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError is thrown on that last line, referring to the class just loaded. The weird part is, the println prints the exact class name. I checked that if I keep the reference as an Object and manipulate it only through reflection, everything's fine, so the offending piece of code must be the explicit cast. Can someone explain to me why this happens, and also tell me how I can achieve what I'm trying to do?

Well, I would like to ask id you know what is the interpolator described in Material design: It looks to be an AccelerateDecelerateInterpolator but the deceleration effect decays slower.   I am using ACTION_MY_PACKAGE_REPLACED to receive when my app is updated or resinstalled. My problem is that the event is never triggered (I tried Eclipse and real device). • PagedDataSource does not support serialization - how can I enforce this ?

  Sounds like I want to override a physics law, but at least it is the most reasonnable solution, cpu / HDD and Ram effective for my asp.net project. In fact, I got a pageddataSource and a customDataReader that supports paginated data. The truth is my data are in a viewstate variable, because it is re-used in an update panel. When I intend to use it into my pageddatasource, asp.net 3.5 kills me with a System.Web.UI.WebControls.PagedDataSource' in Assembly 'System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' is not marked as serializable. cool exception... So I'd rather not offend newton because I know he'll always win, but I would need some help to enforce this pagedDataSource law, that seems so unbelievable, except if someone has an explanation.

• Redirecting the response from a filter throws an IllegalStateException

  I am writing a filter that will handle all authentication related tasks.   Hey guys, I have just been thinking about the concept of view model object we create in asp.net MVC. Our purpose is to instantiate it and pass it from controller to view and view read it and display the data. Those view model are usually instantiated through constructor. We won't need to initialize the members, we may not need to redefine/override parameterless constructor and we don't need inheritance feature there. So, why don't we use struct type for our view model instead of class. It will enhance the performance.

• Can I create a collection in Scala that uses different equals/hashCode/compare implementations?

  I'm looking for as simple way to create an identity set. I just want to be able to keep track of whether or not I've "seen" a particular object while traversing a graph. I can't use a regular Set because Set uses "==" (the equals method in Scala) to compare elements. What I want is a Set that uses "eq." Is there any way to create a Set in Scala that uses some application-specified method for testing equality rather than calling equals on the set elements? I looked for some kind of "wrapEquals" method that I could override but did not find it. I know that I could use Java's IdentityHashMap, but I'm looking for something more general-purpose. Another idea I had was to just wrap each set element in another object that implements equals in terms of eq, but it's wasteful to generate tons of new objects just to get a new equals implementation. • Filtering foreign keys with AJAX in Django admin

  I have most of this figured out already. I have AJAX returning the region/state/province when a country is selected. The correct foreign key is saved to the database, however, when the record is viewed afterwards the selected state is not shown in the select nor are any states for the selected country. I understand why this is happening as, the admin view is not aware of the relation between the state and the country. So here is the question. Is there a hook in the admin view that will allow me to load the correct states for the country and set the selected attribute on the option in the select tag? Or how can I override the admin view for any forms that require the country and region/state/province set? I am using jQuery and Djando-1.1. Thanks

  Hi! I have a question about sessions on ruby-on-rails. We have a several options about session storage such as cookie, active_record_store, etc.. I primarily use the cookie storage, but, there are some client which doesn't support cookie function. In that case, I have to make that client to use the "active_record_store". My rails version is 2.3.5. I found out that even though I use the active_record_store, the cookie is still available. In my situation, both session storage might be available. So, I want to make the framework to primarily use the cookie, when the cookie is available. On the other hand, the client doesn't support the cookie, secondly to use the active_record_store. I think this function requires some override to the framework, but I don't know how to do it. Do you have any idea for that? Thank you very much in advance.

  Alright so my terminology when it comes to C# isn't great, so I'll attempt to explain this with a small example. If you create a class which you are using within a PropertyGrid and you have the following values: class Test { public Point example { get; set; } } This will produce a PropertyGrid which has an expandable object "example" which has fields X and Y in order to create a "Point". I'm attempting to create an object "name" which has fields "firstname" and "lastname", so I have: class Test { public Name example { get; set; } } public struct Name { public string firstname { get; set; } public string lastname { get; set; } } This however isn't working as intended. I think I need to override some method(s) in order to get this working, however since I don't really have the terminology down for PropertyGrids it is difficult for me to find a solution. Any help would be great.

  Hi, I've been slowly working my way through the examples in Beginning iPhone Development and there are a few things that I have not been able to figure out, but I'm sure you guys can help me with it. In Eclipse there is a Source-Generate Getters/Setters, can you do something similar to synthesize properties in Xcode I also cannot seem to find a Refactor menu I'm also struggling to find the equivalent to Source-Override/Implement Methods --Edit-- I failed to describe my problem it seems. I do know that synthesizing properties will generate getters/setters for me, but I am looking for a way to generate the @property/@synthesize code, by selecting the variables. Short list to start with, but I will probably have more as my confusion grows in might. :)

• Enable editing does not call didSelectRowAtIndexPath ??

  Hi I have a UITableViewController where the user should be able to edit the items. In order to enable editing i use this : self.navigationItem.rightBarButtonItem = self.editButtonItem; And for everyone, how does not know where self.editButtonItem comes from, it is predefined by the SDK. So, now when I press on any item, this method is called : - (void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView didSelectRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath but as soon as I hit the edit button and while editing is active, this method does not seemed to be called. Any idea what I missing ? • Automatically minifying attribute/element names when using XmlSerializer

  When serializing a C# class using XmlSerializer, the attributes/elements representing the properties of the class will have the same names as they do in the source code. I know you can override this by doing like so: [XmlAttribute("num")] public int NumberOfThingsThatAbcXyz { get; set; } I'd like the generated XML for my classes to be as compact as possible, but obviously still capable of being automatically deserialized on the other side. Is there a way to have these names minified as much as possible without having to manually think of and annotate everything with a short string? The resultant XML being easily human readable isn't a concern.
