• IBOutlets are always nil

  Hi, In IB I have subclassed the File Owner and the subclass loads my .nib. The subclass itself doesn't need access to the IBOutlets so they're instance variables in another class, which I added as a subclass of NSObject in the .nib. Then I connected the interface elements to that object. But somehow, in the class that "owns" the IBOutlets, they show up as nil. What am I doing wrong here?

I manage to find all the projects which are related to a specific worker by writing the following code: worker=Worker.find_by_id("some_id") worker.projects but I want the projects that I get to be only active projects (in the project model I have a status field) I tried to do something like worker.projects(:status_id=>'active') but it didn’t work for me.   I have two displays (two monitors) connected to my machine, and I noticed a strange thing happening today. I had an Explorer window open with my compiled exe on my primary display, and when I double-clicked it, it opened in the primary display (left monitor). However if I pressed enter to launch the executable, it started in the secondary display (right monitor). The window state of the initial form is maximized. Is there a way to tell C# to open the initial form in the primary display?

• How to Backup Emails that are Archived on Server

  Our exchange system here has been setup that any emails older and x weeks are automatically archived. Once they are when you click on them they are loaded from the archive and then opened. This makes backing older emails up onto say another drive impossible because when I open them from say home, I'm not connected to the exchange server and thus the email cannot be opened. Is there a way I can back them up and still have them available?
