  • Custom web.config in Visual Studio Setup Project

    - by Dmitriy Nagirnyak
    Hi, In the Setup Project I have 2 web.config files: web.config - used during the development and web_dist.config - the one that should be included into Setup Project. I must be sure the the Setup project will NOT include the web.config and will always include web_dist.config. In the File System - Web Application Folder I have added the Content Files from the project. Also included the web_dist.config and mapped it to the web.config. But this gives the warning: WARNING: Two or more objects have the same target location ('[targetdir]\web.config') And the actual config file included is web.config and not web_dist.config. What would be the best option to include the web_dist.config (and named as web.config in the setup)? Thanks, Dmitriy.

  • Silverlight 3.0 Custom ListBox DataTemplate has a checkbox, checked event not firing

    - by Bhaskar
    The datatemplate for the ListBox is set dynamically by XamlReader.Load. I am subscribing to Checked event by getting the CheckBox object using VisualTreeHelper.GetChild. This event is not getting fired Code Snippet public void SetListBox() { lstBox.ItemTemplate = XamlReader.Load(@"<DataTemplate xmlns='http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation' xmlns:x='http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml' x:Name=""DropDownTemplate""><Grid x:Name='RootElement'><CheckBox x:Name='ChkList' Content='{Binding " + TextContent + "}' IsChecked='{Binding " + BindValue + ", Mode=TwoWay}'/></Grid></DataTemplate>") as DataTemplate; CheckBox chkList = (CheckBox)GetChildObject((DependencyObject)_lstBox.ItemTemplate.LoadContent(), "ChkList"); chkList.Checked += delegate { SetSelectedItemText(); }; } public CheckBox GetChildObject(DependencyObject obj, string name) { for (int i = 0; i < VisualTreeHelper.GetChildrenCount(obj); i++) { DependencyObject c = VisualTreeHelper.GetChild(obj, i); if (c.GetType().Equals(typeof(CheckBox)) && (String.IsNullOrEmpty(name) || ((FrameworkElement)c).Name == name)) { return (CheckBox)c; } DependencyObject gc = GetChildObject(c, name); if (gc != null) return (CheckBox)gc; } return null; } How to handle the checked event?   • Setting custom header values in an IIS ISAPI filter

    - by Jon Tackabury
    I have an ISAPI filter that I am using to do URL rewriting for my CMS. I am processing SF_NOTIFY_PREPROC_HEADERS notifications, and trying to do this: DWORD ProcessHeader(HTTP_FILTER_CONTEXT *con, HTTP_FILTER_PREPROC_HEADERS *head) { head->SetHeader(con, "test1", "aaa"); con->AddResponseHeaders(con, "test2:bbb\r\n", 0); return SF_STATUS_REQ_NEXT_NOTIFICATION; } However, I can't seem to read these values using server variables or response headers in classic ASP or PHP. The values are missing. I'm expecting either my "test1" or "test2" header values to appear, but they are not. Am I doing something wrong here?

  • Asp.net MVC2 Custom jquery validation: client -side

    - by Lullaby
    Hi. I want to create a validation rule for 2 date-pickers (startDate less then endDate). I create a validation attribute: [AttributeUsage(AttributeTargets.Class, AllowMultiple = true, Inherited = true)] public sealed class DateCompareAttribute : ValidationAttribute { private const string _defaultErrorMessage = "'{0}' is less then '{1}'."; public DateCompareAttribute(string startDateProperty, string endDateProperty) : base(_defaultErrorMessage) { StartDateProperty = startDateProperty; EndDateProperty = endDateProperty; } public string StartDateProperty { get; private set; } public string EndDateProperty { get; private set; } public override string FormatErrorMessage(string name) { return String.Format(CultureInfo.CurrentUICulture, ErrorMessageString, StartDateProperty, EndDateProperty); } public override bool IsValid(object value) { PropertyDescriptorCollection properties = TypeDescriptor.GetProperties(value); object startValue = properties.Find(StartDateProperty, true).GetValue(value); object endValue = properties.Find(EndDateProperty, true).GetValue(value); if (startValue.GetType() == typeof(DateTime?) && endValue.GetType() == typeof(DateTime?)) { var start = ((DateTime?)startValue); var end = ((DateTime?)endValue); return (start.Value < end.Value); } return false; } } and added ti to my Dto: [DateCompare("StartDate", "EndDate")] public class QualificationInput{...} I created a validator: public class DateCompareValidator : DataAnnotationsModelValidator { string startField; private string endField; string _message; public DateCompareValidator(ModelMetadata metadata, ControllerContext context , DateCompareAttribute attribute) : base(metadata, context, attribute) { startField = attribute.StartDateProperty; endField = attribute.EndDateProperty; _message = attribute.ErrorMessage; } public override IEnumerable<ModelClientValidationRule> GetClientValidationRules() { var rule = new ModelClientValidationRule { ErrorMessage = _message, ValidationType = "dateCompare" }; rule.ValidationParameters.Add("startField", startField); rule.ValidationParameters.Add("endField", endField); return new[] { rule }; } } And registered it in Global.asax.cs in Application_Start(): DataAnnotationsModelValidatorProvider .RegisterAdapter(typeof(DateCompareAttribute), typeof(DateCompareValidator)); In MicrosoftMvcJQueryValidation.js I have made this changes: switch (thisRule.ValidationType) { ..... case "dateCompare": __MVC_ApplyValidator_DateCompare(rulesObj, thisRule.ValidationParameters["startField"], thisRule.ValidationParameters["endField"]); break; ..... } .... function __MVC_ApplyValidator_DateCompare(object, startField, endField) { object["startField"] = startField; object["endField"] = endField; } jQuery.validator.addMethod("dateCompare", function(value, element, params) { if ($('#' + params["startField"]).val() < $('#' + params["endField"]).val()) { return true; } return false; }, jQuery.format("Error")); But it doesn't work :( no client side validation on this type of rule (the others type like required works fine) What I'm doing wrong?

  • iPhone - archiving array of custom objects

    - by Dylan
    I've been trying for hours and I cannot solve this problem. I'm making an app that saves unfinished Chess Games, so I'm trying to write an array to a file. This is what the array is, if it makes sense: -NSMutableArray savedGames --GameSave a ---NSMutableArray board; ----Piece a, b, c, etc. -----some ints ---NSString whitePlayer, blackPlayer; ---int playerOnTop, turn; --GameSave b ---NSMutableArray board; ----Piece a, b, c, etc. -----some ints ---NSString whitePlayer, blackPlayer; ---int playerOnTop, turn; etc. And these are my NSCoding methods: GameSave.m - (void)encodeWithCoder:(NSCoder *)coder { [coder encodeObject:whitePlayer forKey:@"whitePlayer"]; [coder encodeObject:blackPlayer forKey:@"blackPlayer"]; [coder encodeInt:playerOnTop forKey:@"playerOnTop"]; [coder encodeInt:turn forKey:@"turn"]; [coder encodeObject:board forKey:@"board"]; } - (id)initWithCoder:(NSCoder *)coder { self = [[GameSave alloc] init]; if (self != nil) { board = [coder decodeObjectForKey:@"board"]; whitePlayer = [coder decodeObjectForKey:@"whitePlayer"]; blackPlayer = [coder decodeObjectForKey:@"blackPlayer"]; playerOnTop = [coder decodeIntForKey:@"playerOnTop"]; turn = [coder decodeIntForKey:@"turn"]; } return self; } Piece.m - (void)encodeWithCoder:(NSCoder *)coder { [coder encodeInt:color forKey:@"color"]; [coder encodeInt:piece forKey:@"piece"]; [coder encodeInt:row forKey:@"row"]; [coder encodeInt:column forKey:@"column"]; } - (id)initWithCoder:(NSCoder *)coder { self = [[Piece alloc] init]; if (self != nil) { color = [coder decodeIntForKey:@"color"]; piece = [coder decodeIntForKey:@"piece"]; row = [coder decodeIntForKey:@"row"]; column = [coder decodeIntForKey:@"column"]; } return self; } And this is the code that tries to archive and save to file: - (void)saveGame { ChessSaverAppDelegate *delegate = (ChessSaverAppDelegate *) [[UIApplication sharedApplication] delegate]; [[delegate gameSave] setBoard:board]; NSMutableArray *savedGames = [NSKeyedUnarchiver unarchiveObjectWithFile:[self dataFilePath]]; if (savedGames == nil) { [NSKeyedArchiver archiveRootObject:[delegate gameSave] toFile:[self dataFilePath]]; } else { [savedGames addObject:[delegate gameSave]]; [NSKeyedArchiver archiveRootObject:savedGames toFile:[self dataFilePath]]; } } - (NSString *)dataFilePath { NSArray *paths = NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSDocumentDirectory, NSUserDomainMask, YES); NSString *documentsDirectory = [paths objectAtIndex:0]; return [documentsDirectory stringByAppendingPathComponent:@"gameSaves.plist"]; } Sorry, here's the problem: After setting some breakpoints, an error is reached after this line from -saveGame: [NSKeyedArchiver archiveRootObject:savedGames toFile:[self dataFilePath]]; And this is what shows up in the console: 2010-05-11 17:04:08.852 ChessSaver[62065:207] *** -[NSCFType encodeWithCoder:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x3d3cd30 2010-05-11 17:04:08.891 ChessSaver[62065:207] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -[NSCFType encodeWithCoder:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x3d3cd30' 2010-05-11 17:04:08.908 ChessSaver[62065:207] Stack: ( 32339035, 31077641, 32720955, 32290422, 32143042, 238843, 25827, 238843, 564412, 342037, 238843, 606848, 17686, 2733061, 4646817, 2733061, 3140430, 3149167, 3144379, 2837983, 2746312, 2773089, 41684313, 32123776, 32119880, 41678357, 41678554, 2777007, 9884, 9738 ) If it matters, -saveGame is called from a UIBarButton in a navigation controller. • Adding custom options in binded dropdown in asp.net

    - by MarceloRamires
    I have a bound dropdown list populated with a table of names through a select, and databinding. it shoots selectedindexchanged that (through a postback) updates a certain gridview. What happens is, since it runs from changing the index, the one that always comes selected (alexander) can only me chosen if you choose another one, then choose alexander. poor alexander. What I want is to put a blanc option at the beginning (default) and (if possible) a option as second. I can't add this option manually, since the binding wipes whatever was in the dropdown list and puts the content of the datasource.

Or if you have a link to these precise icons (for free) It would be nice too. Thank you, ChaCha

  • Custom form designer, move/resize controls using WinAPI

    - by jonny
    I have to fix some problems and enchance form designer written long ago for a database project. In Design Panel class code I encountered these lines private void DesignPanel_MouseDown(object sender, MouseEventArgs e) { if (e.Button == MouseButtons.Left) { (sender as Control).Capture = false; switch (FMousePosition) { case MousePosition.mpNone: SendMessage((sender as Control).Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF009, 0); break;// Move case MousePosition.mpRightBottom: SendMessage((sender as Control).Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF008, 0); break;//RB case MousePosition.mpLeftBottom: SendMessage((sender as Control).Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF007, 0); // ... here are similar cases ... case MousePosition.mpLeft: SendMessage((sender as Control).Handle, WM_SYSCOMMAND, 0xF001, 0); break;//L } } } FMousePosition indicates whether mouse was over any edge of selected control. What confusing me is these windows messages: it seems there is no documentation on WM_SYSCOMMAND with parameters 0xF001-0xF009 (maybe it starts some kind of 'drag/resize sequence'). Any ideas? If my suggestion is right, then how can I cancel these sequences?

  • Wordpress SQL Select Multiple Meta Values / Meta Keys / Custom Fields

    - by Wes
    I am trying to modify a wordpress / MySQL function to display a little more information. I'm currently running the following query that selects the post, joins the 'postmeta' and gets the info where the meta_key = _liked function most_liked_posts($numberOf, $before, $after, $show_count) { global $wpdb; $request = "SELECT ID, post_title, meta_value FROM $wpdb->posts, $wpdb->postmeta"; $request .= " WHERE $wpdb->posts.ID = $wpdb->postmeta.post_id"; $request .= " AND post_status='publish' AND post_type='post' AND meta_key='_liked' "; $request .= " ORDER BY $wpdb->postmeta.meta_value+0 DESC LIMIT $numberOf"; $posts = $wpdb->get_results($request); foreach ($posts as $post) { $post_title = stripslashes($post->post_title); $permalink = get_permalink($post->ID); $post_count = $post->meta_value; echo $before.'<a href="' . $permalink . '" title="' . $post_title.'" rel="nofollow">' . $post_title . '</a>'; echo $show_count == '1' ? ' ('.$post_count.')' : ''; echo $after; } } The important part being: $post_count = $post->meta_value; But now I want to also grab a value that is attached to each post called wbphoto How do I specify that $post_count = _liked and $photo = wbphoto ? Here is a screen cap of my Phpmyadmin

  • Custom Fill Property on PathGeometry in Silverlight

    - by Otaku
    I've been looking at (and getting confused by) Dependency Properties - I'm not sure if this is what I need or if there is something else. I'm looking to something very specific with <Path.Data/> children in Silverlight, in particular <PathGeometry/>, <EllipseGeometry/>, etc. While the <Path/> element has a .Fill property, I'd like to add a .Fill property to any of it's Geometries, meaning it's a different color from it's parent. It could be a <SolidColorBrush/> or <LinearGradientBrush/> color, or a percentage of the parent color (like 20% darker than <Path.Fill/>. Is this possible? Is this a dependency property? How would <RectangleGeometry/>, for example, know that I am trying to fill it with a color? How would I get started? (adding WPF as a tag too as someone who knows WPF may be able to help)

  • Trying to draw a Rectangle to a Custom Container in Flex4/AS3

    - by Parris
    So below is the code I have so far. For now I simply want to make it draw a square and have it show up. Right now when I click the area defined in MXML as <components:PaintArea width="100%" height="100%" id="paint-a"></PaintArea> it shows nothing; however, the actionlistener is getting triggered and an element is being added to the group. Not sure exactly what is going on... perhaps for some reason it doesn't think the element is drawable? Anyways thanks for the help! public class PaintArea extends SkinnableContainer { private var canvas:Group; public function PaintArea() { super(); canvas = new Group(); canvas.clipAndEnableScrolling = true; canvas.percentHeight = 100; canvas.percentWidth = 100; canvas.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP,drawRectangle); this.addElement(canvas); } private function drawRectangle(e:MouseEvent):void{ var r:Rect = new Rect(); r.fill = new SolidColor(0x00ff00,.5); canvas.addElement(r); } }

  • Android: Saving custom button and spinner on orientation change

    - by Jacob Huggart
    Hello All, I am new to Android programming and was handed a fairly large program that is almost complete, but needed support for switching between portrait and landscape view. I added android:configChanges="keyboardHidden|orientation" to the manifest and used onConfigurationChanged to save the view data and that works. However, there is a button that displays the date selected (when pressed a calendar to select the date comes up) and a spinner that displays the current view and is used to select a new view. Those two items are being cleared/reset and do not work at all after the screen flip. I have been attempting to use onSaveInstanceState and onRestoreInstanceState to fix that, but I cannot figure out how to get it to work. Any advice? FYI, This is how my spinner is set up: Spinner s = (Spinner) findViewById(R.id.siteSelector); ArrayAdapter<?> adapter = ArrayAdapter.createFromResource( this, R.array.sites, android.R.layout.simple_spinner_item); adapter.setDropDownViewResource(android.R.layout.simple_spinner_dropdown_item); s.setAdapter(adapter);

  • Custom xsl rendering for lookup field in list view (SharePoint 2010)

    - by Luc
    I'm trying to change rendering of a list column on list view page. After a few tutorials and some hair pulling I managed to create an xslt for a calculated and currency field (from fldtypes_XXXXXX.xsl): <xsl:template match ="FieldRef[@Name='MarkCalc']" mode="Text_body"> <xsl:param name="thisNode" select="."/> <xsl:value-of select="$thisNode/@*[name()=current()/@Name]" disable-output-escaping ="yes"/> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="FieldRef[@Name='CurrencyTest']" mode="Number_body"> <xsl:param name="thisNode" select="."/> <b><xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes" select="$thisNode/@*[name()=current()/@Name]" /></b> </xsl:template> Then I tried to do the same for a lookup field, but it just won't work. This is my last attempt (I copied it from SharePoint designer). What am I missing? <xsl:template match="FieldRef[(@Encoded) and @Name='Lookup1']" mode="Lookup_body"> <xsl:param name="thisNode" select="."/> <b><xsl:value-of select="$thisNode/@*[name()=current()/@Name]" disable-output-escaping="yes" /></b> </xsl:template>

    This question is not really related to programming but to using Visual Web Developer, but here goes: I'd like to use User.Identity.Name or any session variable in the WHERE-clause used by DataList (or other similar components), but I've tried the different options in the "ORDER BY..." pane to no avail. How do I stick that in there? Cheers

  • Rotating a UIButton with a custom image (animation)

    - by Tiago
    Hi, I'm trying to rotate a button that I've connected to the controller from the Interface Builder. I've set it's image right from Interface Builder. I'm using this code on the method that runs when I click it: [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:NULL]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:2.0]; [UIView setAnimationRepeatCount:5]; updateButton.transform = CGAffineTransformMakeRotation( M_PI ); [UIView commitAnimations]; But this doesn't do anything. Can this be done, or should I create the button programmatically in order to get it to rotate?

  • JQuery Validation Plugin: Use Custom Ajax Method

    - by namtax
    Hi Looking for some assistance with the Jquery form validation plugin if possible. I am validating the email field of my form on blur by making an ajax call to my database, which checks if the text in the email field is currently in the database. // Check email validity on Blur $('#sEmail').blur(function(){ // Grab Email From Form var itemValue = $('#sEmail').val(); // Serialise data for ajax processing var emailData = { sEmail: itemValue } // Do Ajax Call $.getJSON('http://localhost:8501/ems/trunk/www/cfcs/admin_user_service.cfc?method=getAdminUserEmail&returnFormat=json&queryformat=column', emailData, function(data){ if (data != false) { var errorMessage = 'This email address has already been registered'; } else { var errorMessage = 'Good' } }) }); What I would like to do, is encorporate this call into the rules of my JQuery Validation Plugin...e.g $("#setAdminUser").validate({ rules:{ sEmail: { required: function(){ // Replicate my on blur ajax email call here } }, messages:{ sEmail: { required: "this email already exists" } }); Wondering if there is anyway of achieving this? Many thanks

  • Having trouble with instantiating objects in PHP & Ajax custom shopping cart

    - by Phil
    This is my first time playing with both ajax and objects, so please go easy on me I have 3 pages that make up the tester shopping cart. 1) page with 'add' 'remove' buttons and ajax code to call the PHP functions on page 2. this is the actual user page with the HTML output. 2) page with PHP cart function calls, receives $_GET requests from ajax on page 1 and calls functions of the cart object from page 3, returns results to page 1. 3) page with cart object definition. Here's the problem I believe I'm having. Currently I have 'session_start()' on pgs 1 & 2, and the cart definition (pag 3) on pgs 1 & 2. I only define '$_SESSION[cart]= new Cart' on page 2. However, it seems like each time i hit an ajax function (eg each time pg 2 reloads) it seems like it's rewriting $_SESSION['cart'] over again, thus it's always empty at each new click (even tho it displays results of that click) However, if i don't define '$_SESSION[cart] = new Cart' on pg 2, i get an error: Fatal error: main() [function.main]: The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition "Cart" of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded before unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in /home3/foundloc/public_html/booka/carti.php on line 17 Any suggestions? How can i stop re-creating my cart each time my page 2 (php cart function page) is called by ajax?

  • JQuery - drop shadow plugin. Custom color

    - by Ockonal
    Hello, I'm using Jquery plugin DropShadow: web site And I want to set drop shadow color manually. Color is specified in the usual manner, with a color name or hex value. The color parameter does not apply with transparent images. From documentation, so, here is my code: { ... color: "black", swap: false } It works perfect, with '#000' against 'black' it works too... But if I need shadow color, for example, red '#fff000' plugin doesn't work. I don't see any shadow. Why?
