I've included the following beneath the standard GA script (new ga.js script). _gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'Downloads', 'Extension']); Which seems to be working ok, but the results listed in the Events Overview report (after waiting 24 hours), don't make sense.   Google Analytics makes it very easy to see the number of views of the most-viewed pages, but I cannot figure out how to see the number of views a particular page has received, or the number of views of recently added pages (e.g. blog posts). Is it possible to sort the pageviews list by date the page was added? Can this be done without having to externally create a list of recent pages and use the analytics API?

  I have a dynamic php website which index only has around 800 errors according to the w3 validator online. I have tried checking major websites like ebay, stackoverflow and others also, all with around 400 errors. So my first thought is, what good is that validator when it always displays errors? Secondly, will the errors affect my SERP ranking? ie, will me fixing these errors as good as I can increase my Google search position? Thanks

  I previously had Ubuntu 12.04 and had my Login Keyring set to a password that I don't remember and am not able to guess. I changed my Linux version to Mint 15 Cinnamon recently, but everytime I sync my Google account with my browser, the Login Keyring keeps coming back. I tried the /Preferences/Password method but there is no file as such which is created. Also, .gnome2 folder doesn't have any keyring file. How can I make the box go away for all?

If we made these new pages by copying the original Boston one and changing the location's name (s/Boston/Montreal/), would Google consider them as duplicate pages and penalize us?   The software company I work for would like to monitor how long it takes to download their installers (hosted in several locations and about 30-100mb each) from various countries around the world. I am aware of website monitoring services like Pingdom and Site24x7, and have contacted their customer services, but neither have the facility to monitor download times of such large files via HTTP. For various reasons, we are not able to rely on weblogs. Does anyone know of any third-party services that could help us? Many thanks.

  i have a domain and i am using freehostia as a web hoster. In the name server of domain i have registered the name of both servers of freehostia. And in my control panel in the hosted domain section its showing "1 Hosted Domains / 1 Domains Listed".however on clicking on that its showing an error that "The selected domain name has not been registered yet. Please register it from the Domain Manager section first" now whenever i am trying to access my website by using dns1. its accessible but when i am using WWW. its not accessible for example my domain name is example.com if i will type dns1.example.com then my webpage will open but when i type www.example.com its showing "Oops! Google Chrome could not find www.example.com" And for information 24 hours has been passed since i have registered my name servers.

  I'm currently putting together a website for my Luddite friend. He needs a blog, photos and videos... all easily updateable by him. WordPress and Blogger both have brilliant functionality to allow you to host your own blog on your own domain, but what about photos and videos? Does YouTube or Google videos or Vimeo or MSN Video or anyone offer the ability to easily insert a video navigation interface onto your own site? (Something similar to YouTube's "Channel" pages, except on your own domain?) Same goes for photos. I'm pretty sure FlickR doesn't allow you to easily upload and manage photos for viewing on your own domain. Does anyone else? My friend doesn't want to be editing any HTML and I don't want to be creating a complicated system to handle tons of different videos. There must a user-friendly solution in this day and age?   I'm currently mirroring a website on my server. The site itself is rarely updated, but it is updated enough that info can become outdated quickly. I mirrored it first with wget, and this worked fine, but I made some changes: The original index.html used frames, but the site also provides a main.html which is essentially index.html but without frames. I deleted index.html and renamed main.html. I did not want to mirror the webchat, blog or forum, so I deleted those files and directories and made directories "blogs" "forum" and "chat" and placed a php redirect in each of those, redirecting visitors to the orignal site. I'd like to auto-update the mirror (maybe once every 24-72 hours), but preserve the changes I made. Is this possible? How would I go about doing it? I am completely clueless as to how.   I'm trying to load charts as images in a secured site. An example of a Google Chart image over https would be this: https://www.google.com/chart?cht=lc&chs=200x125&chd=s:helloWorld The problem is that while you can load an image like this by directly clicking the link, you can't include it as an image in your page. It just won't load. Any idea on how to bypass this? Or solution generally using PHP?
