Specifying location of new inlineshape in Word VBA?

I'm working on a document "wizard" for the company that I work for. It's a .dot file with a header consisting of some text and some form fields, and a lot of VBA code. The body of the document is pulled in as an OLE object from a separate .doc file. Currently, this is being done as a Shape, rather than an InlineShape. I did this because I can absolutely position the Shape, whereas the InlineShape always appears at the beginning of the document. The problem with this is that a Shape doesn't move when the size of the header changes. If someone needs to add or remove a line from the header due to a special case, they also need to move the object that defines the body. This is a pain, and I'd like to avoid it if possible. Long story short, how do I position an InlineShape using VBA in Word? Oh, and this is for a 10-year-old system setup, so Office '97.

RegEx - Indexed\Arrayed Named Capture groups?

I have a situation where something can appear in a format as follows: ---id-H-- Header: data Another Header: more data Message: sdasdasdasd Message: asdasdasdasd Message: asdasdasd There may be many messages, or just a couple. I'd prefer not having to step outside of RegEx, because I am using the RegEx to parse some header information above the messages and the messages along with the headers are part of the text I am parsing. The messages attached into the text might be many. I would also like to use named capture groups, so something like Message: (?<Message[index of match]>.+) Where it matches the match as many times as it can with the index filled in. Does anything like this exist in RegEx? (I will eventually be using this in Perl)

Appearance of a WPF ListView under Windows Vista and Windows XP is not the same

Hello everybody! I need to make dynamic web-page/form in JSF. Dynamic: In runtime I get the number of input fields Ill have together with buttons. I'll try to demonstrate you what I need to make. inputField1 inputField2 inputField3 BUTTON1 inputField4 inputField5 BUTTON2 inputField6 inputFiled7 inputField8 inputField9 BUTTON3 I hope you understand me what I want to make. So I when I click on some of the buttons I have to collect the data from the input fields and do something with the data. If I click BUTTON1 I collect data from inputField1 inputField2 inputField3 BUTTON2 inputField4 inputField5, etc. Probably I should create the input fields programmatically and group them in forms. Any idea how to do it? Any idea?

Convert XML namespace prefixes with C#?

I have run into an exasperating problem getting a Java service client to communicate successfully with a WCF service. I have overcome many hurdles, and I believe that this is my last one. The problem boils down to how Java Axis + WSS4J seem to handle xml namespaces. The Java platform seem to be very rigid in what they expect for xml namespace prefixes, and as such, do not understand the WCF reply messages. My problem in a nutshell is as follows. Since neither of those namespaces are present in the actual response xml, exceptions are thrown. I am wondering if there is any simple way to transform an xml document from one set of namespaces to another set using C#, .NET, and the System.Xml namespace. I've poked around with XmlNamespaceManager a bit, but it does not seem to fully support what I need...or at least, I have been unable to find any really useful examples, and am not fully sure how it works. I am trying to avoid having to write some heavy-duty process to handle this manually myself, as I do not want to drastically impact the performance of our services when called by a Java Axis/WSS4J client.

django generic view update/create: update works but create raises IntegrityError

I'm using CreateView and UpdateView directely into urls.py of my application whose name is dydict. In the file forms.py I'm using ModelForm and I'm exluding a couple of fields from being shown, some of which sould be set when either creating or updating. So, as mentioned in the title, update part works but create part doesn't which is obvious because required fields that I have exluded are sent empty which is not allowed in my case. So the question here is, how should I do to fill exluded fields into the file forms.py so that I don't have to override CreateView? Thanks in advance.

ASP.NET - Overriding Gridview OnRowCreated to add sort images -- columns are null

I'm overriding the onrowcreated to add sort images to the header row of a gridview. This works, but actually adding a sortexpression doesn't. What I want to do is set the images as imagebuttons and set their commandarguments to the sort expression of the column they are sorting for. I would assume I could get the cell and from it's index get the gridviewcolumn. Then, I could just get the sortexpression of the gridview column, but this does not work. The columns are null. Django admin.py missing field error

Chrome Browser: Cookie lost on refresh

I am experiencing a strange behaviour of my application in Chrome browser (No problem with other browsers). When I refresh a page, the cookie is being sent properly, but intermittently the browser doesn't seem to pass the cookie on some refreshes. Where do you include FirePHP in Wordpress?

I'm using require_once() in header.php to include the FirePHP library. In the page.php I'm doing the usual... $firephp = FirePHP::getInstance(true); $firephp->log($categories); Getting these errors.. 'Headers already sent....' and Cannot send log data to FirePHP. You must have Output Buffering enabled via ob_start() or output_buffering ini directive... I figured the using require_once in the template's header.php (above all HTML output) would be safe (pre header output). Guess this is not the case. Anyone have experience with this? (P.S. I tried the WP FirePHP plugin, wasn't working right)

Serializing C# objects to DB

I'm using a DB table with various different entities. This means that I can't have an arbitrary number of fields in it to save all kinds of different entities. I want instead save just the most important fields (dates, reference IDs - kind of foreign key to various other tables, most important text fields etc.) and an additional text field where I'd like to store more complete object data. the most obvious solution would be to use XML strings and store those. The second most obvious choice would be JSON, that usually shorter and probably also faster to serialize/deserialize... And is probably also faster. But is it really? My objects also wouldn't need to be strictly serializable, because JsonSerializer is usually able to serialize anything. Even anonymous objects, that may as well be used here. What would be the most optimal solution to solve this problem?

Frameset frame cached by Firefox

Hi, I have a html page which contains nested frameset (don't ask why, I'm only servicing the app ;) ). What bothers me, is why FF caches Header.htm file constantly. I had to use clear cache to force browser to download it again. ctrl+f5 didn't help. <frameset rows="68,*" border="0" frameborder="no" framespacing="0"> <frame name="header" src="/Header.htm" scrolling="no" noresize> <frame name="footer" src="/Login.aspx?w=<% =company %>&loc=<% =ccdom %>"> </frameset> Any ideas what is responsible for that behaviour? Deselecting a form input and waiting for a function before submitting

I have a form with an input field where a user enters a unique identifier. I then have some jQuery code that upon the user moving away from the input field (blur) goes out and fetches details about the part and populates some fields on the page. The problem is if the user clicks the submit button before moving out of the input field the jQuery code never has a chance to load in the data and populate the necessary fields. Whats the best way to go about doing this? I thought about maybe setting the focus to body and then having an infinite loop that keeps checking the page until all fields that should be filled in have been filled in but I feel like some sort of event based solution would be better than unpredictable infinite loops. Any ideas?

Choice of primary index for mysql innoDB

I have an auction website where users can place a bid on a product. Now i have a primary index on the bid table for easy access of the last places bid on the product. This index is just a unique auto incrementing value. During the week this number becomes huge!! I was wondering if this is a good setup for the primary key in an innoDB table. The bids table exist of the following important fields: table: bids fields: user_id,product_id,bid So what i want to do is make the primary of these 3 fields combined. Is this a good idea or is this just too much for innoDB keys.

C++: Declaration of template class member specialization (+ Doxygen bonus question!)

When I specialize a (static) member function/constant in a template class, I'm confused as to where the declaration is meant to go. Here's an example of what I what to do - yoinked directly from IBM's reference on template specialization: template<class T> class X { public: static T v; static void f(T); }; template<class T> T X<T>::v = 0; template<class T> void X<T>::f(T arg) { v = arg; } template<> char* X<char*>::v = "Hello"; template<> void X<float>::f(float arg) { v = arg * 2; } int main() { X<char*> a, b; X<float> c; c.f(10); // X<float>::v now set to 20 } The question is, how do I divide this into header/cpp files? The generic implementation is obviously in the header, but what about the specialization? It can't go in the header file, because it's concrete, leading to multiple definition. But if it goes into the .cpp file, is code which calls X::f() aware of the specialization, or might it rely on the generic X::f()? So far I've got the specialization in the .cpp only, with no declaration in the header. I'm not having trouble compiling or even running my code (on gcc, don't remember the version at the moment), and it behaves as expected - recognizing the specialization. But A) I'm not sure this is correct, and I'd like to know what is, and B) my Doxygen documentation comes out wonky and very misleading (more on that in a moment). It will always present only the first definition it finds of a function/constant, and I really need to be able to present the specializations as well. How to read pixel values of a video?

Hi Guys, I recently wrote C programs for image processing of BMP images, I had to read the pixel values and process them, it was very simple I followed the BMP header contents and I could get most of the information of the BMP image. Now the challenge is to process videos (Frame by Frame), how can I do it? How will I be able to read the headers of continuous streams of image frames in a video clip? Or else, is it like, for example, the mpeg format will also have universal header, upon reading which I can get the information about the entire video and after the header, all the data are only pixels. I hope I could convey. Has anyone got experience with processing videos? Any books or links to tutorials will be very helpful. Vikram

making certain cells of an ExtJS GridPanel un-editable

I currently have a GridPanel with the Ext.ux.RowEditor plugin. Four fields exist in the row editor: port, ip address, subnet and DHCP. If the DHCP field (checkbox) of the selected row is checked, I need to make the other three fields un-editable. I've been trying to perform this code when the beforeedit event is triggered, but to no avail... I've only found ways to make the entire column un-editable. Wrangling Control of HTTP Headers in ASP.NET

I'm working with ASP.NET MVC3, and I'm trying to get absolute control over my headers because a client application that I'm working with expects a very specific content type. What I'm finding when using Fiddler to examine the HTTP traffic is that the text encoding is being returned as part of the header. For example, the client is expecting application/appname in the Content-Type header, but the server is returning application/appname; charset=utf-8. I think the client is using a strict comparison for checking the type, so I want to be able to specify exactly what is emitted in the headers. Right now I have a custom ActionResult in which I clear the headers and then specify only the content type, but the encoding still seems to be added on. How can I remove the encoding from the Content-Type header?
