    Hi, Question related to PHP memory-handling from someone not yet very experienced in PHP: If I set a PHP session variable of a particular name, and then set a session variable of the exact same name elsewhere (during the same session), is the original variable over-written, or does junk accumulate in the session? In other words, should I be destroying a previous session variable before creating a new one of the same name? Thank you.

I experienced that Tomcat 6 does not properly undeploy webapps, leaving classes in jvm. For example I monitored tomcat 6 with VisualVM: on start 2000 classes, on deploy of an app 3000 after redeploy 4000 and redeploy 5000 classes and so on - leading to crashes, memory leaks...     Hi Fellas, Please help me in finding the size of Flash (ROM) and RAM used by the firmware. The firmware is implemented using C++. Also I have Keil microvision4, will it be helpful to find the ROM and RAM size? Or do I need to look at the MAP(.M51) file of the firmware to find the memory sizes? Or is just looking at the size of hex files (.hex) enough for locating the size of ROM? Please suggest!

    As I know that accessing an element in vector takes constant time while in map takes logarithmic time. However, storing a map takes less memory than storing a vector. Therefore, I want to ask which one is better in general? I'm considering using one of those two in my program, which has about 1000 elements. I plan to use 3 dimensional vector, which would take 1000x1000x1000 elements.
