  • css/html: white space break fix and now cant code fine?

    - by Karem
Yes, so I got the problem that if you type a long sentence with no space e.g eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, it will break itself, but then now I would need to start typing some ugly non-breaking coding. Example: http://jsfiddle.net/r3CFJ/ I need to have everything in one sentence in order not to make it break itself. Check here to see the result of not having everything in one sentence: http://jsfiddle.net/r3CFJ/1/ How can I fix this please any solutions?? as my further coding will get very ugly and not readable?

  • Convert html/css print media display to .doc with appropriate page breaks?

    - by DevelopingChris
I'm looking to export a page that looks good in print media, to word. Can this be done automatically, or mostly automatically with office apis? The alternative is to create a program that reads all our style meta data and font meta data and convert to word and force a download. The issue is our style metadata is already built for css, its a web app after all. And writing my own css parser, doesn't sound like a good use of time.

  • UIHint can not resolve template in abstract models

    - by Reza Owliaei
Assume an abstract model like this: public abstract class MyClass : BaseEntity { [UIHint("File")] public long? DocumentFileId { get; set; } } The problem is Cannot resolve template 'File', while there is File.cshtml in View editor templates. The point is, if I don't define MyClass as an abstract class, error will be solved. My question is, why editor template can not resolve in abstract classes, and how can I handle it?

  • Format date in String Template email

    - by Gearóid
I'm creating an email using String Template but when I print out a date, it prints out the full date (eg. Wed Apr 28 10:51:37 BST 2010). I'd like to print it out in the format dd/mm/yyyy but don't know how to format this in the .st file. I can't modify the date individually (using java's simpleDateFormatter) because I iterate over a collection of objects with dates. Is there a way to format the date in the .st email template?

  • How to restrict html body width when not displayed on iPhone?

    - by Curyous
I have set up a web page to look good on the small screen of an iPhone, but when viewed on the desktop, and going right across the width of the browser, it looks terrible. Is there a way I can restrict the width to say, 480px when viewed on a big screen? I tried body { margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; max-width:480px; } but it seems to just set the width at 480px, even on an iPhone on portrait mode.

    Hi Guy's NSString* appendString=@""; appendString = [appendString stringByAppendingString:@"<body>"]; appendString =[appendString stringByAppendingString:@"<table background='footer.png' width='320' height='45' style='background-repeat:no-repeat'>"]; appendString =[appendString stringByAppendingString:@"<tr>"]; appendString =[appendString stringByAppendingString:@"<td align='left' width='57' height='31' style='padding: 6px 0 0 0' ><a href='/map/'><img src='details_Back.png'/></a></td>"]; appendString =[appendString stringByAppendingString:@"<td align='left' valign='middle' style='padding: 0 0 0 65px; font-family:Helvetica; font-size:21px ; font-weight:bold ; color:#FFF'>Details</td>"]; appendString =[appendString stringByAppendingString:@"</tr>"]; appendString =[appendString stringByAppendingString:@"</table>"]; appendString =[appendString stringByAppendingString:@"<br>"]; returnString = [returnString stringByReplacingOccurrencesOfString:@"<body>" withString:appendString]; printf("\n return string :%s",[returnString UTF8String]); [myWebView loadHTMLString:returnString baseURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://abc.api.abcdefg.com/"]]; here in the above code the footer.png and details_back.png are the local images stored in my resource folder. Here the problem is I am gettin the background image from the server link I had passed to the webview as baseurl but the images footer.png and details_back.png which were stored in resource is not displayed. if I use the resource bundle as the baseurl then I am not displayed the background image from the server link. • Setting the AccountController in ASP.NET MVC 1.0 Template Not to Connect to SQL Server Express

    - by Maxim Z.
I'm writing a website in ASP.NET MVC, using the ASP.NET MVC 1.0 template that was added to VS2008 for me by the ASP.NET MVC installer. The template automatically adds an AccountController, but its account methods tie into a SQL Server Express entity. I don't have Express installed here. How can I reconfigure it to use my SQL Server 2008 database and to store user info in some columns in a User table I've already created?

  • HTML/CSS: What should I use to define image height/width to make it resolution independent?

    - by Tedy
I've read all over the Internet that I should not define fonts (or anything) with absolute pixel height/width/size and instead, use EM ... so that on higher resolution displays, my web site can scale appropriately. However, what do I use to define IMAGE height/width ... because images won't scale well (they look pixelated) UPDATE: To clarify, I'm not referring to page zoom. I'm referring to how to make my web application resolution independent so that it will look correct on higher DPI displays.

    - by Kangkan
Hi, I am new to WPF. We are facing one issue. We are showing/launching a WPF browser application from an web (ASPX) application. The web application has a navigator menu with drop-downs (on hover). It works fine till the user is using the web application (aspx pages). But once the WPF application is launched (and is in the foreground on the aspx page) the dropdown menus that are on top of the WPF app is shown below the WPF application. The drop downs are in a <div> and we tried to put the ZINDEX value. But could not get any positive reply. Can somebody help?

A style is then wrapped around this template and applied to a button, when this button is used it is not carrying the values for horizontal and vertical alignment. In the designer the allignments are showing and the button is in the correct place, but when i run the program the button appears to have horizontal alignment = left and vertical alignment = right. Any ideas?

  • Given this demo, How do I make HTML content area fit to viewport height?

    - by viatropos
I just made this demo extracting out what I'm trying to accomplish: Autosize Main Content Area I want the pink/yellow area to act according to these rules: Minimum height is the size of its content (which is variable) IF content size is smaller than viewport size Otherwise minimum height is such that it adjusts to fill the window. Checking out the source to that demo, what am I missing? I feel like this is a pretty easy case that shouldn't require javascript. Any ideas?
