• How to solve "403 Forbidden" on CentOS6 with SELinux Disabled?

  I have a machine on Linode that is driving me crazy. Linode does not have SELinux on CentOS6... I'm trying to configure to put my website in "/home/websites/public_html/mysite.com/public" As I don´t have SELinux enable, how can I avoid the "403 Forbidden" that I get when trying to access the webpage? It just depends on what we mean by 'open'.   There are many kinds of 'open' license, and many of these I like.  But  I maintain the GPL; the principle license of the Open Source Software Foundation, is most certainly NOT open for business.  And to the extent that software is conceived, developed, and maintained business, not hobbyists, the GPL is very, very evil.   Fiddler is a very useful tool for troubleshooting all kinds of HTTP(s) communications. It also features various extensibility points to make it even more useful. Using the inspector extensibility mechanism, I quickly knocked up an inspector for typical federation messages (thanks for Eric Lawrence btw). Below is a screenshot for WS-Federation. I also added support for SAML 2.0p request/response messages: The inspector can be downloaded from the identitymodel Codeplex site. Simply copy the binary to the inspector folder in the Fiddler directory.

  For me, networks are a very "opaque" thing, and even with reading a lot of tutorial about SSH, I do not understand how to create a basic tunnel to transfer my files. The configuration is the following : My Computer --[Internet]--> Bridge Machine --[Local Network]--> Final Machine Currently I do the following : 1) Connect to the Bridge Machine with : ssh -X [email protected].fr 2) Connect to the Final Machine with : ssh -X username@finalmachine 3) I copy the address of files I need (for example .../mydirectory) 4) Then I deconnect from the finalmachine with : exit 5) I copy the files to the bridge : scp -r username@finalmachine:/.../mydirectory . 6) I deconnect from the bridge with : exit 7) I copy the files to my machine : scp -r [email protected]:/.../mydirectory . Which is quite complicated. My question is basic : how to simplify this using a SSH tunnel ? (and please explain me the signification of each command line you write, to understand what each line really do and to avoid to use it like a magical thing. • What is /etc/apache2/sites-available used for and is it necessary?

  I have 3 sites, each with a specific IP, running on apache2 (up-to-date Ubuntu). To put a site online, I just created a file in: /etc/apache2/sites-enabled and in this file I told apache which directory was the root directory for this site, and to which IP it should correspond. So I have 000-default 001-www.lapf.eu 002-www.felkin.info 003-www.seidhr.fr in this directory. My first site, lapf suddenly lost contact with its database after the domain name was transferred from another registrar unto the registrar who is also hosting the site's data. Then I did an update, and I reinstalled mysql-server and mysql-common, and I did I-have-forgotten-what to reinstall the locales (uft8 and such) which had vanished for some reason. This fixed my first site. Now I noticed that the other 2 sites are offline. Pointing a browser to them just hangs until timeout. They used to function, and their domain names did not move, they are still registered at the same place. The files are still in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled I noticed another directory: /etc/apache2/sites-available with just defaut and default.ssl in it. Why are there 2 directories, sites-enabled and sites-available? Should I copy the files from "sites-enabled" into "sites-available"? • Issues with Apache redirect to www-prefixed URL

  I have a website with domain mysite.com. I would like to have it so that if a user types in "mysite.com" it will redirect to "www.mysite.com". Additionally, "mysite.com/subdir" will also redirect to "www.mysite.com/subdir". I've looked and made changes with vhosts and also rewrites, but it's not working for the "mysite.com/subdir"-"www.mysite.com/subdir" case. Every time I type in "mysite.com/subdir", it will redirect to "www.mysite.com". Only "www.mysite.com/subdir" works. Not sure how to troubleshoot this. I turned on rewrite logs and didn't see anything obvious, yet. This is my config files so far. Please let me know what I'm missing. Thanks!   When I tried configuring local machine as a Internet Gateway with website development capabilities over it and I installed all required software into it. I also had disable the selinux into it. But PROBLEM is when I do http://localhost/phpMyAdmin or all lower case than the page shows it as a blank page. We started using Google Apps for this purpose, but lately we are having tremendous problems with mailing, especially to hotmail. I added the SPF record as required. Mxtoolbox says my domains are not in any blacklists. I was told to contact https://postmaster.live.com/snds/addnetwork.aspx and add my network. Given that I am using google's mail servers for sending mail, should I add their IP address for registering my domain? Or should I add my server's IP even though I am not hosting the mail server on it? • Update MySQL table using data from a text file through Java

  I have a text file with four lines, each line contains comma separated values like below file My file is: Raj,[email protected],123455 kumar,[email protected],23453 shilpa,[email protected],765468 suraj,[email protected],876567 and I have a MySQL table which contains four fields firstname lastname email phno ---------- ---------- --------- -------- Raj babu [email protected] 2343245 kumar selva [email protected] 23453 shilpa murali [email protected] 765468 suraj abd [email protected] 876567 Now I want to update my table using the data in the above text file through Java. I have tried using bufferedReader to read from the file and used split method using comma as delimiter and stored it in array. But it is not working. Any help appreciated.
