  • Emails going into junk and spf records

    Hi, our emails are being flagged as junk. I have two different webistes both with their own dedicted ip address. sitea.com = xx.xx.xx.43 siteb.com = xx.xx.xx.44 Im using hmailserver to host our emails and have the smtp bound to the ip address of xx.xx.xx.42 im aware that i can set up a spf record to state that the what servers emails can be sent from v=spf1 mx ip4:xx.xx.xx.43 mx:mail.sitea.com ip4:xx.xx.xx.42 -all Would the fact that email are not sent from the sites ip's be causing them to be flagged as junk.   • Allocated Private Bytes keeps going up in one computer but not the other

    OK, this may sound weird, but here goes. There are 2 computers, A (Pentium D) and B (Quad Core) with almost the same amount of RAM. If I run the same code on both computers, the allocated private bytes in A never goes down resulting in a crash later on. In B it looks like the private bytes is constantly deallocated and everything looks fine. In both computers, the working set is deallocated and allocated similarly. Could this be an issue with manifests or DLLs (system)? I'm clueless. Note: I observed the utilized memory with Process Explorer.

    Hi, I'm trying to understand how Eval() works for a specific purpose. I'm working on a project I don't really know and I need to read some data and put them in drop down list. These data are already read and are displayed inside an ItemTemplate. I noticed there are read using the Eval() method. Something like: <ItemTemplate> <a href="...=<%# Eval("foo") %>></a> </ItemTemplate> I need to know where Eval is getting these data from in order to discover where I should read them for my drop down list! But I didn't really understand how it works! I know that Eval() evaluates data binding expressions at runtime but where do you think I should take a look at? Thank you

    Hi, I wrote a code for pinging of given URL.It works fine for me.But whenever i clicked on the start ping button, pinging started but that time focus always is on start button and no widget of the screen working that time. After pressing many times it will gives the force close error.If iam giving URL which is not pinging then that time , all the widgets are working fine.After some time i need to stop the pinging by using my stop button.But it is not working.Please give me advise.Iam using Runtime.exec() for ping command in my android.Plz give me advise.

I tried changing the code instead of using the if loop I only run the convert function when I send for example t through the serial monitor, this works fine and outputs the correct timet after the execution of the convert function, So I figured the problem is in the if loop... Any ideas?

    Hi all, Mac OS X 10.6, Cocoa project, with retain/release gc I've got a function which: iterates over a specific directory, scans it for subfolders (included nested ones), builds an NSMutableArray of strings (one string per found subfolder path), and returns that array. e.g. (error handling removed for brevity). NSMutableArray * ListAllSubFoldersForFolderPath(NSString *folderPath) { NSMutableArray *a = [NSMutableArray arrayWithCapacity:100]; NSString *itemName = nil; NSFileManager *fm = [NSFileManager defaultManager]; NSDirectoryEnumerator *e = [fm enumeratorAtPath:folderPath]; while (itemName = [e nextObject]) { NSString *fullPath = [folderPath stringByAppendingPathComponent:itemName]; BOOL isDirectory; if ([fm fileExistsAtPath:fullPath isDirectory:&isDirectory]) { if (isDirectory is_eq YES) { [a addObject: fullPath]; } } } return a; } The calling function takes the array just once per session, keeps it around for later processing: static NSMutableArray *gFolderPaths = nil; ... gFolderPaths = ListAllSubFoldersForFolderPath(myPath); [gFolderPaths retain]; All appears good at this stage. [gFolderPaths count] returns the correct number of paths found, and [gFolderPaths description] prints out all the correct path names. The problem: When I go to use gFolderPaths later (say, the next run through my event loop) my assertion code (and gdb in Xcode) tells me that it is nil. I am not modifying gFolderPaths in any way after that initial grab, so I am presuming that my memory management is screwed and that gFolderPaths is being released by the runtime. My assumptions/presumptions I do not have to retain each string as I add it to the mutable array because that is done automatically, but I do have to retain the the array once it is handed over to me from the function, because I won't be using it immediately. Is this correct? Any help is appreciated.

  • MVC JsonResult with the [Authorize] attribute going to Logon but not displaying the view

    I am seeing odd behavior with MVC 3 methods that return a JsonResult when used with the Authorize attribute. What looks like happens is the Authorize is correctly evaluated when I am not logged in but instead of redirecting to the logon form the Json response is the logon form. Is there an addition attribute that directs the response to not return a value but instead redirect the user to the logon form, preferebly with the correct returnUrl value? What I did as a demo was to setup a new MVC3 site and added AspNetMembership to my DB using the aspnet_regsql.exe command. All that is setup and logging me in correctly. The behavior of the JsonResult doesn't seem right and I'm hoping I have just missed an attribute to make it work properly. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.   • iPhone Simulating App Update at home before going out in the big bad world

    this is a follow on from this question and the link given it seems that when an app is updated all of the files in the documents directory are copied into the updated apps documents directory and also anything in Library/Preferences. Whats the best way to simulate this for testing purposes? Just copy the files in ApplicationSupport/iPhone Simulator etc? or has anyone developped any funky techniques for testing this.

    I have a div with display:block in my css. This div block uses the align = "absmiddle" . It displays all the elements in 1 line in Chrome. However, in firefox, the elements are displyed on to the next line as well. How do I get them to display in 1 single line in firefox.   • iPhone: Going from transformed layers to jpeg

    I have a bunch of images that are transformed (using touch gestures). I want to take the transformations the user does to the images and create a jpeg from it. (ie. if a user rotates a photo to the right, I want to get a jpeg of the photo rotate to the right just as the looks on screen). This takes into account that the photo could be bigger than whats displayed on screen too (no screenshots). I'm trying to use CGContext (CGContextRotateCTM specifically) but its not been too successful. Thanks for the help.

    Currently my tableview looks like this: as you can see, cell.textLabel and cell.detailTextLable both load this background, and i can't work out how to get them to stop loading the background, and for it only to be the backing on the cell. I tried to solve this by using a unique id and name for the attributes: <a href="#bottom" id="4656" name="4656"> But this hasn't worked. Suggestions? P.S. Don't use the URL bar, yes that works. Visit the page and click on a link in a post that says "Bottom of the page". This is where it isn't working.

    I have a class like this: class Router :: Mongrel::HttpHandler def process(req, res) status, header, body = [200, {"Content-type"="text/html"}, Model.all.to_xml] res.start(status) do |head, out| header.each_pair { |key, value| head[key] = value } out.write body end end end It's an server and I use an ActiveResource front end on the other side. Every 3rd request is very slow (about 5 seconds, 1st and 2nd is ok, about 0.01 sec). The problem in Model.all.to_xml (it is ActiveRecord - SQLite). Why it is too slow? It only happens when I use it in Mongrel::HttpHandler.. This 100.times do a = Time.now Car.all.to_xml puts "#{Time.now - a}" sleep(1) end is always works good.

    I have a numpy array and want to convert it into an ITK image for further processing. How do I do this without using the PyBuffer extension to WrapITK. I can't use that because I get a bunch of errors when compiling: .../ExternalProjects/PyBuffer/itkPyBuffer.txx: In static member function ‘static PyObject* itk::PyBuffer<TImage>::GetArrayFromImage(TImage*) [with TImage = itk::Image<float, 2u>]’: .../ExternalProjects/PyBuffer/wrap_itkPyBufferPython.cxx:1397: instantiated from here .../ExternalProjects/PyBuffer/itkPyBuffer.txx:64: error: cannot convert ‘int*’ to ‘npy_intp*’ in argument passing I could use an idea about either how to fix the compilation errors or another way to convert my python objects.
