    Hi there, I have a whole bunch of mavenised projects, and I want to check that each project has the correct version of a parent pom. One way could be to checkout each project in turn, and then have a script that reads the parent section. Or is these some way of determining this from looking at the repository?     I have an sql statement that currently is just returning all the end parent rows for a list of child rows: SELECT DISTINCT row FROM table heirarchy WHERE parent_row = NULL CONNECT BY nocycle PRIOR parent_row = row START WITH row IN (select statement returning child rows) Is there a way to show the child and its corresponding parent together in the same result set using a modified version of my sql?     I'm using .position to find the offset of where the element is relative to the parent, however it seems to be returning a value that is the offset from some parent up the ancestor tree. I have a button, and its wrapped withing a div and its the only element of that div. The div is floated right. .position is returning a value like {left:780, top:370}, when the true value should be around {left:200, top:0}. I'm using jquery 1.4

    We were having a problem with the Norton seal not showing up on our affiliate marketing landing pages (landers). Turns out, the Norton seal was super picky about the "www." prefix. I had folder paths like /lp/cmpx where x was a number 1-100 and indicated advertising campaign number. So, to remedy this, I stuck this in my .htaccess file right after the RewriteEngine On line: RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example\.com RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.com/lp/cmp1/$1 [R=302,QSA,NC,L] Trouble is, I had to do that under every campaign folder, changing cmp1 to whatever the folder name was. Therefore, my question is... Is there a way I can do this with an .htaccess file under the parent folder (/lp in this case) and it will work for each of the children? EDIT: Note that I stuck an .htaccess file in /lp just now to test: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example\.com RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.com/lp/$1 [R=302,QSA,NC,L] This yielded no effect to the /lp/cmpx folders underneath, to my dismay.

    While updating the firmware on my parent's WNR3500v1, I bricked it. Basically, all that happens now is the power light just flashed. I tried pressing the factory reset button for up to a minute with the power on as well as with the power off. To no avail. Is there anything that can be done other than try to RMA it? Googling around, I found nothing promising. I'm wondering if anyone else has any other solution.

I have a lot more than 3 folders, so I was thinking of making a batch file or something. What would be the commands to do this? Thanks

    I'm preparing a script for Docker, which allows only one top-level process, which should receive the signals so we can stop it. Therefore, I'm having a script like this: one application writes to syslog (bash script in this sample), and the other one just prints it. #! /usr/bin/env bash set -eu tail -f /var/log/syslog & exec bash -c 'while true ; do logger aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ; sleep 1 ; done' Almost solved: when the top-level process bash gets SIGTERM -- it exists, but tail -f continues to run. How do I instruct tail -f to exit when the parent process exits? E.g. it should also get the signal. Note: Can't use bash traps since exec on the last line replaces the process completely.

    Hi, say I have this class: class animal { function noise() { print 'woof'; } function move() { print 'moved'; } } class dog extends animal { } What I would like to do is when i run $dog-noise() or $dog-move(), it would run something first prior to calling animal class's noise/move. Is this doable? Like maybe logging the function call. If not with class extend, what else can I use to achieve this? Thank you!
